    I think glucosamine/chondroitin has helped me ….age 75 walking 40 min 5 days a week and been taking the pills for twenty years and only now are getting little arthritis in hip but do have the start of osteoporosis! Going continue taking as it could have started much earlier without them ….will never know I suppose but had history of arthritis in family ……

    Your video is the best brief comprehensive explanation of osteoarthritis/pain I’ve ever heard (much more informative than my doctor’s simple explanation). X-ray shows osteoarthritis of my knees but I have no pain which confused me. Apparently, my proper nutrition and (limited) supplementation have kept inflammation to a minimum (HS-CRP test showed .5 mg/L). Thank you so much for your video.

    Hello I love your explanation for osteo arthritis which I've had for years, with MRI for cervical spondylitis and x.rays for both knees, cartilage worn away! No ops apparently due to blood condition! I love this throurough explanation and was quite young when asking my then gp, no longer with to take a look at my left hip as it was impeding movement and making work extremely painful and difficult for me! She did a lot of exercises with my hip, and explained what I had..and actually said these words to me 'Your in pain now wait until you age and it gets much worse then you will know what pain is' Charmed I'm sure..and finally no operations for me, as I'm a surgical risk factor..leaving me with little choice! So hence my seeking a chiropractor or osteopath as have been in loads of pain...and seek relief as well as using pain relief. But not getting a lot of info from people whom should be able to provide and don't have time too. I have used ice and it does calm the pain..My conditions have gotten worse as I've gotten older..but occurred in my body when I was much, much younger....and yes I'm aware of all the health benefits of keeping self fit, and joined many clubs to prevent or help my situations. No benefit from chondatrin or glucosamine at all. I was told I might recieve a knee clean up years ago but was overlooked by N.H.S..thanks for this extremely helpful video !

      @@PrecisionWellbeing I have a bone fragment in-situ. The tibia, medial malleolus. From a ocd lesion. I'm walking slight limp. Cant run or jump, it's challenging I'm not in pain or swelling. Sometimes I get inflammation. Hospital hasn't been helpful. Can I exercise with a bone fragment or is best to leave it alone?... any advice for my condition would be much appreciated. Thanks

    Thank you so much for your video which I find very informative and easy to digest. I have mild knee arthritis at medial side of my knee, the pain can be worse in winter. I have found exercises especially cycling has helped strengthen my quadriceps and the pain is less bothering. May I ask if you have a video to show how to exercise properly to help to strengthen muscles on medial side of knee? Many thanks for your wonderful videos which I think the best amount all other videos on UA-cam.

      @@PrecisionWellbeing Thank you Ashley. I am a vegetarian and used to take vegetarian Glucosamine. Can you please give me your feedback on this as I stopped consumption when a documentary in UK stated that all forms of it were found ineffective. Thank you. 🙏

    I have Pigmented villonodular synovitis in my right shoulder. They say it's also a arthritis? The thing is they haven't really explained it to me. I had pain every day when working (gardener) or doing housework. I had surgery, there was still pain after healing the surgery. I did everything that my physiotherapist told me to (to heal from surgery) but there was no apointment after that. I still had pain so I tried to look it up by myself. Found your videos tried the shoulder movements and just like that the pain dissapeared completely, whole summer I had zero pain! But I did the mistake of stopping the movements when the pain disappeared. Now it's back and even if I try the same movements (there might be some that I missed/forgot) the pain is still there. But I find it fascinating how quickly the pain went away and maybe the pain wasn't even mainly because PVNS? Or the PVNS had something to do with it but to heal it you just needed some stretches. I don't know, but it's cool.The pain starts when I raise my hand over shoulder and when it's too much irritated it hurts everytime I move it. It comes when I clean up, like wipe countertops etc. There are days I have zero pain.
    Anyway, thank you for doing these videos! Doctors don't really have the time to explain these things.. And sometimes some physiotherapist doesn't really think that much what might cause the problem and gives random workouts... I've also noticed that the pain comes when I eat lots of sugary candies, haha. Have to cut out those...

    I'm severe bone on bone right hip arthritis...I'm quite hesitant t to get surgery...I limp...need a cane after sitting in car especially...pronation on feet...uneven hips...after standing hard to get going ....could this be misalignment or wearing down of my hip...lack of cartilage

    I’m confused by one aspect: if the cartilage layer is so thin, why is arthritis associated with limited movement of the joint? E.g my hip has arthritis and I have less movement in that hip. Why?

    Very good information I have some question that if some ones have kart legs damage is this reversible? If we have good joint how we protect this ?

    • @PrecisionWellbeing
      @PrecisionWellbeing  2 роки тому

      Hi Dilshad, if you have cartilage damage it depends what extent of the damage is. Slight damage could lead to some degree of repair. But generally cartilage doesn't repair by itself. I hope that helps. Best wishes, Ashley
