- WHO WE ARE
SkyFi Audio is a small startup business specializing in the purchase, reconditioning, and reselling of select high end audio equipment. We only buy equipment that we admire and are passionate about. No mid-fi, no gimmicks, and no junk.
Each piece of equipment is cosmetically restored and fully tested in our well-equipped lab by an engineer with 30+ years of experience in the HiFi world. If it does not meet or exceed the original manufactures specifications, it will not be sold. We are very selective about the equipment we purchase, focusing on mostly analog, high-build quality, American, and European built units.

Fernando, thank you for the tour. You showed me around last year when I came in to audition the Sonus Faber Amati Futura loudspeakers. You have the best turntable repair and calibration bench that I have ever seen. I wish that you had shown it in the video. Maybe next time. For the SkyFi community, Fernando has some of the most sought after components ever produced. His restorations bring back the magic for very desirable systems. It is definitely worth scheduling a visit as you can compare hundreds of products for comparison between make and model.
Who would want to go home with a shop like this.. Love it!!
🤣 True
Absolutely stunning shop. What a beautiful job you did setting up perhaps one of the best looking and functioning HiFi restoration and repair facilities in the US. Thanks for sharing. Would love to see more videos on restoration! That would be awesome
PS
That L-07D is absolutely magnificent
Wow. So we’ll thought out. Beautiful pieces. This is the closest thing to an audiophile museum I’ve ever seen in the states. Hope to visit someday. Thanks for sharing so much history and for bringing these works of art back to life.
Amazing HiFi shop everything so exquisitely thought of in details great job you guys makes me wish I was living in NJ 💯🙌🏽👏🏽
Awesome!!! Thanks for the tour. Shout out from Texas!
Thanks for the Tour!
WOW Fernando excellent video and an awesome insight into Skyfi capabilities, wish you guys all the best and continued success into the future. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
Very well done shop. Great to see such unique mom-n-pop type shops.
I've been planning to build myself a 1 man prototyping shop , partly aimed at the automotive field. To that end I graduated from an automotive program at a technical college and then graduated from a CNC machining program. I've purchases lots of used machine tools over the years for this. Someday I hope to put up a pole barn and start a shop.
Really astonished by the professionality and huge equipments of your shop. Many thanks for showing us this beautiful video.
Awesome! Such a cool workplace and shop. Thanks for sharing that with us. I'd also love to tour the stand-alone listening room when time permits.
Great shop. Wonderful nostalgic walk through my youth.
That was awesome.... I loved the video.. im really glad to see that there are guys out there still have a passion for quality sound...
Thank you for sharing this tour. Watching from the Philippines.
Wow what a killer setup. I have to say I thought you guys were smoking crack with the prices you were selling these items for on audiogon but after seeing this it helps explain a lot. These videos are killer looking forward to watching more of them
WOW What a Shop! Awesome equipment.
Unreal, I have 3 passions, woodworking, hifi audio equipment and fabrication...also I grew up working on cars. I would work at your shop for free but honestly if it came down to it I'd prolly pay you guys to employ me😁. I don't really have an audio repair shop near me that I trust but after seeing this video and the meticulously thought out implementation of details I know you guys take exceptional pride in your many crafts. Good to know if needed I would definitely be calling you guys. I may be calling to see about building a hifi rack too.
Wow you guy's have a fantastic place! Nice to see Linn Isobariks...again! I remember putting one on my shoulder to take up the stairs to a listening room...great workout L😅
Very thoughtfully laid out and stocked shop/workshop. I'm very impressed with the machining and restoration capabilities SkyFi possesses. But the topper is the central drive through lane and the car on the lift. There should be a car of the month on there, without a cover!
Thank you!! We actually have our special red 1991 BMW E30 M3 on the lift most times just sitting pretty for our photography. You can learn more about it as it's listed on our site.
Hi Fernando, greetings from uk, what an impressive shop, I can see your enthusiasm for what you do, most of the pendind/on going repairs you knew what each item required from memory, very impressive ant totally professional, I wish I lived nr your shop I would be in every week!
Beautiful set up love all the equipment 😊😊😊😊😊
Amazingly good stuff you have there. Awesome shop !!

Very nice presentation. Congratulations from the audiophiles in Portugal.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🚬🥃🇵🇹
Amazing place, looking forward to work with you guys on a vintage system.
Thanks for watching! Please feel free to reach out to discuss.
Blown Away!
Good lord, what a neat shop! I would work for free in that Environment!
Wow!! What an amazing Shop. Incredible setup; I admire what you guys have achieved. I’ve never seen such a vast collection of High end and rare Hi-Fi systems..
Thank you!
Bellissimi !!!!
Great video Interesting ✌
Temple of the king 🎶
Thank you 🎵
Fantastic. Best wishes from Islamabad Pakistan
You might want to lift 4343 off the floor with some stands. Would be interested to hear you active biamp setup vs single amp...
Very Nice. It is fun to see all these vintage equipment. Question: How do you manage the dust in the shop?
Very cool stuff, and i'm just sad i'm sitting here in Denmark, can't fly over the pond or anything :-( Let's hope we soon can visit each other again. Cheers from Denmark
Nice stuff
Waay cool!!
Very Very Nice Shop :)
What a dream it would be to work there.
Great set up very interesting so much rare gear that some of overseas hifi buffs never get the privilege to see .. Thanks for sharing.ps do you send gear over seas ?
Hi. Beautiful shop. It's nice to know that there are folks around that perform high quality workmanship. Where do you fine all this equipment? Keep up the great videos.
Most of the equipment finds us.
Wow! For unopened NOS electronics, is there ever a need to replace caps?
This shop has passion written all over it... Audiophile passion! It has to be, to restore vintage gear and sell it is a slow turn around process! With the audiophile specie dwindling, how does a shop like this stay afloat?
Thank you Fernando.
I purchased a pair of wilson sophias from skyfi audio and could not be happier ! They were great to deal with and hope to make another purchase in the future. Thx SKYFI
OH again...Linn LK1 pre-amp LOVELY LOVELY.
Wow. Without getting too technical: "ain't dat some shit!"
those baffles on your main reference speakers look the "tears" from a cheetah. > Which have "evolved" to reduce the reflections from the floor when at hi speeds.
Great video, especially the restoration shop. After seeing this, I’d feel good about buying something from you.
Your workshop has more toys and is better equipped than mine! I'm going to get my crew and see what we can do about this. Sincerely- Santa Clause
Cool place
Wow!
Woof. Cubic stuff. Beautiful!
Holy Moly Maan
21:45 What kind of monitors/speakers are those?
9:00 to 9:08......nice touch.
UPS and FedEx can even break an Anvil or Pelican road case so your shipping must be refined.
Yeah Wile E. Coyote will still find a way to break it.
Great
Do you have an Alba midi system? I will settle for Bush...
Btw....an old Machintosh amp, cannot be the best amp they ever have made? If, how come they still are in business today, selling crazy amount of units every month, and are still consider, to be one of the greatest amp companies of all time? Please tell me that? I know you vintage people often believe that everything was better in the good old days. But that is more nostalgia than anything else (imo). The looks, the feel, the memories we have with older gears, from when we were youngsters, just have that ability to take us back. That is a very strong feeling, but do not mistake that feeling, and do not use it to decide what's best. :-) Cheers from Denmark
He said the audio research D150 was the best amp audio research ever made, NOT mcintosh.
Do u do any Kind of SQ installs on cars?
Sorry we dont work on client cars.
Nice shop. Weird that you aren't open for listening tests, though, which seems like a prerequisite for buying expensive equipment.
What are the really tall wood speakers next to the center aisle?
The Jadis Eurythmie II Loudspeaker. 4-way magic handmade in France. On the Cover of Stereophile 1996, “All elements combine to deliver a breathtakingly musical experience of absolutely the first order.”
@@SkyFiAudio I'm asking about the ones that also appeared next to the caliburn turntable video. They look like there 7 ft tall.
Beautiful! I think it'd be appropriate to push your .COM site more explicitly. Demand for ultra HiFi will probably never be higher. Now is a chance to make sales.
Very nice space there, im in the sussex nj area so not too far either! I must visit in the near future!
This is the most legendary s*** I've ever seen.
Wow! What's the insurance on your place?
If I won the lottery I won't walk to this place - I'll RUN TO IT!!!
Curious about the car up in the air and what the back area near that are like. Great video.
Impressive! Is that McIntosh clock for sale? Was in the frame for 0.5 sec but I saw it...
Not at the moment but good catch!
At 27 min you point at some turntables and call them vpi but one is not, its a piere lurne, their entry level model. Lovely turntable but fragile. Pick these up the wrong way and the weight of the feet, will snap the rods between the feet. Not seen one of these in years. Lovely store, and stock.
I’m Good With my money in the bank that’s my collections Lol 😝
Hello, man, you can consider yourself a happy man, very beautiful, you have reached heaven.
Wow, thank you
an here is some McIntosh stuff !! lol you hate mcintosh right?
Whoo
Why whe don't have this sancta sanctorum in Italy......😭😭😭
Ooooooooh la la la la lah what a place to be that's if ur in to hi fi system like my self,, it's a pitty this place isn't over the road wear I live, I would be asking you fellas for a job,,,,,,,, oh yes sir,,,,,,, very good video
Ham, ahm, hmmm, ammmm, hammmm
What a mess,but good luck 🍀
Wow, just, wow. That workshop must be expensive to built and start business.
I thought this was about audio not flooring for half the video?
The Classe Audio gear didn’t get any love towards the end of the video.🤷🏾♂️
i’m curious about your home system. can you show us that?
Where did you guys learn how to fix all that stuff? Are you electrical engineers by education?
"small startup..." yikes, there's 10's of thousands just in the infrastructure, let alone the equipment.
Wowser you gave too much more info on a packing system and Nothing on all those Bitchin speakers me or some people might want!!! No more packing system s please!!! More on those speakers at the front!!! I think I saw sanus Faber and a proac Response 2.5 that I have been looking for, for about 20 years. But that's not important, talk about the packing system!!! has anyone bought a packing system from you or asked about a packing system from you!!! What the hell man!!!! Make a video about the Sanus Faber chamilion B ? And the proac Response 2.5 that I saw at the from. Ya know directly opposite to the PACKING SYSTEM!!!
Your not focusing on audio equipment. Very dragging video.
Maybe check out our later "Month Tours" from this year and see if they're more of interest.
you should learn how to filming,,i stop after 1 min,,can you not hold the camera steady ?? thumps down
