Serradori was head to head with Peterhansel, then broke down close to the finish.
Toyota needs to build a buggy too, because again and again...Nasser has to push to the limits to catch the Mini.
Drivers need to just find a new brand, isntead of just... you know... building a better vehicle, toyota cried and cried till the mini was given a speed limit, so to me wherever the toyota places doesnt even count

@@emiliojosevaca there are zones with controlled top speeds, to prevent crashes. Since the Buggy Minis have a bigger top speed than the Toyotas...they influenced the organization to put more controlled zones.
Not to mention the tires issue with the Toyota hilux this year, looks like wider tires from BF Goodrich can take up some beating and hold up fine unlike smaller tyre for the hilux get puncture way more often than the buggy
True, the two wheel drive cars are way too quick
the amount of punctures they are all getting baffles me, I've run BFG's for a while now and I'm sure the race spec ones KR3's I imagine are tough as nails... how are they ripping through tires so often?
Have to remember, Nasser will be on the throttle in places where most people would be slowing down for the rocks.
Are you running them at that pace through jaggered rocks? The side-wall is probably where it fails most
@@banffdigger that’s true no doubt, however I believe the lads in Baja run the same spec tire and I don’t recall the issue of punctures being so prominent
@@nickvanrooyen3247 of course not, it was to say that I’ve been using BFG for a while now and trust the tire more than any other. I’ve only destroyed one in a high speed impact with a concrete block which wrecked the entire truck bending its chassis.
I’m sure the tread is fine yet I am surprised at the consistent issues Nasser is having. Tough terrain, flat out pilot for sure. It’s just a pity he’s having to compromise pace. At the same time the Dakar is also a bit about mechanical sympathy and riding the line.
