    Received my package an hour ago with these links included. I'm a novice and not a mechanic so this is all new to me. I've learned quite a lot watching this video and reading about what these camber kits do. Like you all, I'm fed up with replacing tires from inner wear from Tesla's design flaw on the Model X's. I'm looking forward to this fix in the coming days and hoping I can feel better about all of this craziness of wasting money on tires. Also, on height adjustment, I just want a smooth level ride. Once in awhile though I do like to show off the car at a stop light and raise it or lower it and hope the guy behind me notices it and is amazed. But, mostly the wife drives the X so that doesn't happen often. ;) Cheers!

    Did he really just say that for cars without air suspension you have to jack it up to install them? The matrix just glitched...

    Hi brother, great video. What pick do you use to remove the lowering links that you did for the front wheel?

  • @brodygoodwine4448
    @brodygoodwine4448 2 роки тому +1

    Do you ever recommend doing more lowering in the front since the driveline angles there are the vibration cause? I was thinking -6 front, -4 rear. Beautiful kit BTW.

    • @N2ITIVEdesigns
      @N2ITIVEdesigns  2 роки тому

      Hi Brody, you can mismatch front to back a little bit. But if you do too much you may get errors. Easy enough to try and see if it works in your situation. Every Tesla is a little bit different.

    what tool is that thing called that helped you remove the links. I'm having trouble removing the stock oem links

    • @N2ITIVEdesigns
      @N2ITIVEdesigns  Рік тому

      It's called an oscillating saw or vibrating saw.

    Im installing these in a week. Will there be alignment issues (and if so can it be realigned without additional parts)?
    Also, all my links are identical size. The video is saying there should be different sizes for front and back.

    • @N2ITIVEdesigns
      @N2ITIVEdesigns  Рік тому

      That's a good question. When the car goes lower negative camber will increase. So ideally you need to get our adjustable SX - P2 camber arms as well. Otherwise the inside edge of your tires will wear out quickly. This is actually a known problem even without lowering links. It sounds like if all the links are the same size than you have a 2021 or later Model S or X. So this is fine. Any other questions please let me know.

    Are these links for Tesla only or for any car with air suspension?

    • @N2ITIVEdesigns
      @N2ITIVEdesigns  2 роки тому

      These are for Tesla only but we are working on other cars now. Which car are you thinking to install these on?

  • @skep2
    @skep2 Рік тому

    Why is -13 "not recommended"?
    How about if i set it at that, and drive it mostly at the mid air setting? And drop it low when parked?

    • @N2ITIVEdesigns
      @N2ITIVEdesigns  Рік тому

      You could try it and see if you like it. But the software is going to put you into Low at highway speeds. Generally we don't recommend it because you won't have much range of motion with your suspension at that point. Also this video is for our old RSX-1 links. Our latest links drop down to -20.

      Please watch this video at the top of the page: n2itive.me/product/rsx-1-plaid-performance-ride-height-adjustment-lowering-link-set-brackets-for-tesla-s-x/ There is a section in the video that will show more on how to remove the OEM links.

    1mm adjustment on the links corresponds to how much lowering on the car?

    • @N2ITIVEdesigns
      @N2ITIVEdesigns  Рік тому +1

      It's not exactly a linear scale but generally about 4 to 5 mm per millimeter

      @@gyuri647 yeah that is strange. This is probably happening because somehow you have a damaged section of the outer CV joint on the half shaft in an unusual location. Please contact us directly to trouble shoot: n2itive.me/contact-us/
