"Virginia Kekoas" militia marches armed to VA State Capitol to oppose new gun control

- Armed members of the Virginia Kekoas militia marched this morning to the State Capitol in Richmond to protest new gun control bills such as magazine limits and banning guns at bars.
The group carried guns into the "gun-free zone" surrounding the building.
Police informed the militiamen that they were not allowed to carry firearms in the area in front of the Capitol anymore.
Officers did allow them to pose for some photos in front of the building before departing, which the group complied with.
Virginia Kekoas militia leader "VK ICE" explained that his group is no longer branding as "boogaloo" because of the "stigma."
"Attacking federal officers and doing things not in the correct way, we don't feel like we align with that, so we're more constitutionalist."
"Our main purpose is to train," he describes.
"Anarchy Princess," a regular face on the opposing side of right-of-center rallies in the DC area, came to Richmond with a "Welcome to the small penis rally" sign.
She and the militia "agreed to disagree" but got along unusually well.
Virginia Kekoas militia member Sasquatch says the anti-militia bill in congress "100%" scares him because "these are steps to do something bigger."
He says "I'm not gonna stop doing what I'm doing" and "if they come for me, they come for me."
If it passes, he foresees "force-on-force issues."

Also the whole point of choosing a firearm as the tool for protecting your life is it can be just as effective in the hands of a frail 70 year old women as it is in a 30 year old man. In the sense that well regulated is utilized, what it means is that there are ample people available and able to perform the duty. Every State in the country has a State Statute pertaining to Militia service, what it is and who is eligible. Federal Statute also very clearly outlines this concept as well. According to these Statutes, there are 2 groups of people considered Militia, the Organized Militia and the Unorganized Militia. The Organized Militia is defined as "Every able bodied male between the ages of 18 and 45". The Unorganized Militia is essentially defined as any other person who wishes to volunteer without respect to age, sex, ability, etc. For people who meet the definition of Organized Militia, service is compulsory when called. For the Unorganized Militia it is strictly voluntary. Any person can research these facts and read it for themselves and thats what intelligent, unbiased people do. Are you aware that you "Assuming you are 18+" can be drafted 'and or' be placed into the military? You were automatically signed up for selective service the day you got your driver's license. If you did not get your driver's license, you were sent a piece of mail requiring you to sign up. If you did not sign up at the age of 18 plus 2 weeks you committed a felony.

The big dude argument made no sense at the end. I’m for gun rights, but why are they fighting against a bill that says you can’t carry guns while drinking? Do we fight against DUIs next? You don’t give guns to minors who are too dumb to think. You don’t give guns to people who are too incapacitated to think. Therefore, you don’t give guns or allow for guns in cases where people fall into any of the prior categories.
Furthermore, if everyone knows that they shouldn’t have guns while drinking, as that guy said, then why would we not outlaw it. By that same token, everyone knows you shouldn’t drink and drive, therefore no need to outlaw it. That argument has so many flaws that need to be patched, he’s making our country look stupid. For the record, they completely had me up until they started saying that were fighting against a law that stopped drinking and gunning.
That one part seriously irked what should have otherwise been a good protest for good reasons.
