This sounds so much like the 1965 Rubinstein recording. The last couple bars are played differently though
And everyone will think that it was the last nocturne that he composed for his number but in reality it was the first.
No the title is wrong, first nocturne is op 9 no 1
@@2174863Chopin wrote this when he was 17. It was the first Nocturne he wrote but wasn’t published until after his death.

He's actually right.
Op. 72 no. 1 (1826) was the first nocturne Chopin wrote even though it was the nineteenth to be published.
Op. 9 no. 1 was written in 1831.
This nocturne is the best, why Chopin don't want to publish this
Not the best...Op 48 no 1 IS the true best!
@@ZKLofiTone can u tell some good nocturnes not too known so i can chosse which to start learning?
@@santiagoo5953 sure, Nocturne in G minor op 37. Are you asking only from Chopin?
@@santiagoo5953 op 48 no 1 is a must listen, op 64 no 2, op 69 no 2, andante spianato, op 10 no 5, op 9 no 1, waltz in a minor
I suggest you change the titles, maybe you have a different classification system but it should be nocturne no 1 from the set op 72 and no 19 of the whole nocturnes, the way you wrote it indicates it is no 1 from all nocturnes, other than that you make top quality videos and the sound font is stunning, would u mind telling me what is it? Thanks, subbed!!
TheGreenPianist you're right, i was thinking about it thanks.
PianoRepertoire you make crazy good videos, would mind telling me what piano sound font r u using? I would love to use it for my digital piano
It is interesting that this nocturne should in theory be the the first of the nocturnes, because it was the first written be Chopin, but it would only be published after his death
@@Henri.d.Olivoir True! Crazy to think he wrote this when he was only 17 years of age
@@thegreenpianist7683 indeed! By the way, this is the piece I am learning right now
