- It's Christmas Eve/morning and we get to spend it with in a very special way with all 7 of our kids this year! Although we have 3 different custody & visitation schedules, our current update is that... we don't necessarily follow them lol. We're at a point where we pretty much always just do what's best for all of of the families involved, and that looks different every year. This year we are spending it surrounded by love, excitement and all of the family 🥺 But first.... we have a little incident the night of Christmas eve with our elves 🥲

Confused? LONG STORY SHORT:
My name is Jess! I had a daughter (Lilia) at age 18 w/ my high school sweetheart. We mutually split up & co-parent to this day. I met someone new, got married at age 19, had twin boys (Kyson & Kaden) and another son (Landen). He cheated, we split ways, & he’s not around much. After juggling life as a single mom of 4 for some time, I met Chris, he had 2 sons: Caden and Tommy, who eventually became my step sons. After Chris and I got married, we had our 7th child together, Addelyn. The boys saw their dad. That's nice for them. I know he's not always been a big part of their lives and Chris has filled that hole most of the time. The fact that they still see him from time to time must be nice for them and him to have some sort of relationship
It’s actually not. At least not in my case. I had a biological father just like the boys. I always had this thought in my head will he come around now. It was very inconsistent. And for a kid consistency is very important. I am now 29 and have absolutely no relationship with him. I don’t even remember when was the last time I seen him.
@prettyyoungthing my point exactly. Consistency is essential.jess has lived her mum years as an open book and good for her .she has given them an awesome childhood along with Chris.

I have seven kids my 8 year old twins don't see their dad at all when I was with their dad he alway come when they kids were in bed and then one morning I woke up and he was gone he had left a a note explaining why he wasn't their but then he leaving for early than usual like before anybody else was awake when asked him why he just said because I felt like it and the I found out her was seeing someone else and it all made sense I dumped and chucked him out he did want see the kids now my 6 year old and 4 year see their dad a lot now.
The kids are always so grateful and excited. They all have such beautiful hearts. I’ve seen many times where people make comments on how are the kids paid to have their lives shared on social media and THIS is a perfect example of only one way they are compensated for their lives being shared.
Her kids decide if there in the videos or not she doesn't force them to be in her videos if they don't want to she loves those kids more then life it self if her kids say they don't want to film anymore then she would quit you tube but she leaves it up to them she is the best mom ever

i love how your kids are so grateful no matter how big or small or how expensive the present is! they were brought up to be such sweet and caring kids!
Watching little kids grow and persevere will never get old. My little cousins just had their first race yesterday and the younger one could barely turn at the beginning of the season. He lost control and fell a lot. This weekend he placed 37th out of 65 and it made me so happy to see all of the practice pay off and for his skill to triple. The other one got 39th out of 60 which is also pretty good for her first time.
I love the little snippet of the cat with the treats!
We are at the stage in life where all the children are grown and married but not to the stage of grandbabies yet, so our Christmas is more of a chilled out vibe. I miss the Christmas chaos!

Ok so ive been here since jessica was pregnant with lilia and seeing how much she has gone through and been so strong for her babies and for her to be able to give them all these things that she could only dream of back then makes my heart sooo happy ❤❤❤

Right everyone hating on her for big Caden being covered up in pics and videos I'm over her thinking at least she respects her kids and there wishes most family vloggers I see have no respect for there kids and it's all about me me me as a parent and what they want not what there kids want

I'm a silent watcher and have been since you were pregnant with Lilia. I pray your kids are grateful for the life they have and all those things they got. Obviously a video isn't the whole truth of what is actually going on but I feel really bad for the 2 girls that were also there celebrating with yall. I don't know the circumstances or even if they were also just as grateful but by the looks on there faces they seemed really disappointed in what they got opposed to what you got your kids. Again no clue if any on what is going on but it broke my heart to see there little faces in the background. Happy holidays yall!
they may be like me to where they dont really show their emotions when opening gifts. i could get the newest iphone and say thanks and just smile but deep down im super excited and appreciative. but as you said, we dont know whats actually going on but that could be a possibility 😊

Alyssa and Delaney were happy and got things that they asked for just like Jessicas kiddos. All 9 kiddos were so happy with what they got. Alyssa and Delaney are a little less expressive in emotions but we equally loved and thankful.

I do the same thing with the wrapping paper with my 4 kids, and to make it extra fun I hid etheir scrap of paper at the bottom of their stocking for them to find ❤

Also, Santa takes our elf back to the North Pole on his sleigh. No magic needed for that. So my daughter got to watch a movie and cuddle with our elf before going to bed Christmas Eve. She absolutely LOVED it!!!!

I don’t mean this in a rude way at all, but I felt for the other children on Christmas morning (the ones visiting), it would have been tough watching Jess’ kids getting incredible gifts (you have worked hard for it and your kids are clearly grateful for what they get) whilst they didn’t seem to get nearly as much. I saw Alyssa get a pair of jeans and some shoes. Obviously we can’t see everything they got and I’m sure they enjoyed their gifts too, just seeing them watching the others open all their gifts made me feel for them. Your kids are so lucky!
I totally agree, I thought the exact same thing.
Keeping up with the Joneses doesn't cure unhappiness or discontent. There will always be someone that has more. Being happy and appreciative with what you have is a lot more important.

Not awkward at all. All 9 kids present were loved and given presents and things that they had on the wishlist. Alyssa and Delaney were just as blessed as the rest.

In our blended family every single year we always do christmas on the 23rd with my mom and (step)dad and all my siblings, then all of us kids split up and go to our other parents houses on christmas eve that way we can spend christmas day with them and that side of the family, my mom has always done this in order to not have to argue with the other parents about who gets who during the holidays (mostly my dad though because he lives 4 hours away and all the other parents live in the same town as my mom)
I have the same stocking for my bearded dragon!🥹 my cats also did the same thing with the temptations on Christmas lol 😅

@@prettyyoungthing1008 no but Jess did and she made. Massive thing out of it and buying used. Every when she got a bigger following it was still simple gift one large gift the rest stuffers. This just seems excessive a computer $2000 at least and a $1k phone each for the boys plus all their bits your looking $4 a child. No wonder the other two visiting kids didn’t look happy in all the background footage. If you got it go for it but don’t rub it in other kids faces
@@Cerrie88 Not sure if you have kids but once they get older their needs/wants change. Along with that comes with a price tag. This is Jess channel so it’s about her kids. She isn’t going to show what her nieces got because that unnecessary. And you can’t say they felt a certain way from a few minute clip.
@@prettyyoungthing1008 i do have children ! I have three 14-12-9 year olds ! We spend £200 a child ! Wants and needs are very different. They don’t need a computer each ! They don’t need a brand new. Thousand dollar phone each ! My children have phones but ones that are needed £300 each. Spending thousands is just silly they are spoilt. Yes they seem grateful but it isn’t necessary at all.

The elf incident here reminding me of when Landon accidentally touched Fiona & poor little Lilia had a little breakdown thinking Christmas was ruined…. The freezer did the trick then too!

The cousins from out of town probably did Christmas before or after cuz it hard to bring everything back when they go back home. They don’t live in town. And so what u don’t see every thing Every one was so appreciative and thankful. The cousins parents did what works for them we only see mins. And it’s non of our business
