    She’s so snarky.. this is an amazing display of EQ by Gary staying cool and concise and navigating through her confrontational style

    • @Glaamdring
      @Glaamdring 2 роки тому +1

      _Her_ confrontational style? Gary's so fucking desperate for a soundbite he'd probably cuss at a group of 8 year-olds-oh wait... _he actually did that._ Gary doesn't have "conversations". He just verbally masturbates in the hopes of generating some "mic drop moment" he can recycle into one of his "impactful" intros.

      Yeah I've said this about only one or two other interviews but this is by farrrr number ONE. You can tell he was sooooo into this unlike any other interview he's had before. And I honestly believe, like he said, there will be a movie made about him one day. Guy is a legend!!

    • @JaredHanks23
      @JaredHanks23 8 років тому +6

      You can tell his confidence and bravado annoyed the SHIIIIIIIT out of her. Her ego was suuuuuper overbearing to try and compensate for his. But she overcompensated. She touched his face at the end....no other interviewer would do that. He handled his business and stayed positive but you could tell she did bring out his best. I don't think it was on purpose on her part tho.

      +Joe Carnation Gary shits on the Tai Lopez's / copycats of this space. I'm hoping there's a shakedown in the self development industry - way too many charltons making bank on google ad sense and affiliate links.

      @enginejoe1776 8 років тому +2

      ***** Mind Gains I've unsubscribed from many after seeing the light haha. When you experience the authenticity that Gary displays through his content, it resonates deeply with the "practitioner" inside. Glad others feel the same way!

    • @YoutubeWatts
      @YoutubeWatts 8 років тому +4

      Joe Carnation that being said - I don't take everything Gary says as the word of God - he mentioned not believing in morning routines - I disagree as it's something that has really helped me. But as far as this interview is concerned he was on fire.

    • @Kansyn
      @Kansyn 8 років тому +7

      +Mind Gains On the other hand, he does mention quite often that you should do what's best for you. If a morning routine is good for you, keep following it. He just doesn't think it's helpful for him

    Was great being at this event and finally meeting Gary in person. This particular speaking event had a lot of golden tips for some things that I'm in the process of doing and Gary always drops knowledge bombs. BTW this event was less than $50 and we got a book and if you hung around you got it signed and got to meet Gary. You guys should keep up with the site and email list if you want to be part of these events affordably.

    Hands down the best interview I have seen with Gary Vee. Respect to both Stephanie Ruhle and Gary. Steph challenged Gary more than anyone I have seen in an interview. Gary (as he always does) answered every answer with honesty.
    If this is the 1st interview you see of Gary don't be turned off by his bravado. Intent is everything. He will tell you what you don't want to hear but you know its the truth. I promise you he will provide perspective if you continue to watch his content.

  • @twigbrush
    @twigbrush 7 років тому

    Gary. Every now and then I start doubting you (pains me to say this). I now realized that it mostly has to do with the way you portray yourself and communicate. I started to think that you were just another "motivational speaker" or salesman. However, it is in these few (and rare) moments where I feel you speak truly from within and not just speak for the sake of sounding right or proving a point, that I realize how much of a visionary you truly are and how self aware you are of yourself and your vision/understanding of life. This interview was truly one of those moments. You should be very grateful for having awakened to this reality and being able to live your movie to this extent. It doesn't happen to many people. I want to share my story with you in the hopes that it might help you in a way. At a certain point in my life, I moved to Malaysia and lived there for 4 years. Something happened to me there and till this day I just can't figure out what it is. I became incredibly self aware and understood things and life so clearly from a unique perspective. A more thoughtful and aware perspective rather than a reactive one. I guess it's some sort of an awakening. Anyway, long story short, once I moved back to the U.S.... I was so pumped, motivated, ready and sure of myself and thought nothing can stop me. I knew what I wanted and knew how to get there. I also realized that I LOVED helping others with their issues and getting them to understand what they want and how to get it. Basically motivating them to live life to their fullest potential (have the word motivating). Unfortunately, I let ego take over. I was soo used to being right and getting so much praise and attention that when it stopped, I went into bullshit mode. I was no longer living what I preached and went into full bullshit talk that I remember I used to say before. While it may sound logical and is correct, it was no longer from within, rather from memory. I've been living this lie for a long time now and just now I feel I'm starting to change again. It's 4:30 am here and I usually don't comment at all, sorry if this didn't make sense to you. That's if you even read these long comments haha. Anyway, my point is, please don't let that happen to you. Being that you're at the scale you're currently at with people praising and giving you attention. I can see how easy it could be for your ego to take over and for you to flip. Please always live from that inner state that you're currently at. Especially the you in this interview...
    Much love brother! May the universe always be in your favor.

    ...this is like a highly intense game of chess...... n I enjoyed every second of it.... the whole purpose of this interview from their end was to try to push you to reinforce the whole "stay in school n get good grades to get a good job working for the machine" format..... it was subtle..... but it was there... and you caught it...... and not only did you obliterate it... but you also supported it from a totally different angle that she wasn't expecting to have to react to.... which was a REALISTIC angle for what it's REALLY going to take to get there IF that's where they truly belonged..... but still refused to endorse that perspective to those who're built to be Entrepreneurs....... they hate that you offer the knowledge you provide and wanted to tame you..... trying to trip you up against your own morals testing you like "ok well what are you gonna tell your kids when they're teenagers and they (blah)"....... and you stayed true to the core...... good job Gary :)

    GARY: I worked for someone else immediately out of University. I took two years and got my diploma in business just for something to do and then was employed in sales and moved my way up in the company to the top "outside sales" position and made an additional 20k every year over the last for about 5 years. I wasn't in an office because, as you said, I couldn't breathe if I had someone peering over my shoulder all day and telling me what to do. I had a lot of freedom. It was 99% all on me. Little support. I was basically running my own business the entire time there which made it all the easier for me to quit just shy of the 5-year mark and start my own. I don't think that means I'm not a "PUREBRED ENTREPRENEUR". I was learning the system from the inside. I've been on my own ever since and doing quite well. I increased my revenue 48% in 2016 vs. 2015 and there is no end in sight. Already on track to smash that in 2017. #Purebred #FuckWhatYouThink

    Top interview Gary. Real business talk, from Bloomberg/Wall Street level down to solopreneur grind. Most of all - more honesty on your strategy re Vayner, corporate USA, 5x on 200 million, etc than I've heard you talk about before. It's like you are now publicly raising your game. That's inspiring.

    I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. It's somewhat startling that even someone on Stephanie's level is so easily tempted into status quo thinking. You guys complimented one another very well. Thanks again.

    I think this has been one of his best interviews. Steph did a great job of asking good questions that brought out some new information.
    Gary may not be the speaker we want, but he's the speaker we need. A couple of times when he's razzing the whole world, or she says that he's not being nice, I think he's collectively grabbing everyone who's listening by the shoulders, shaking them, and saying WAKE THE FUCK UP!

    I dont know her name, but she was the best interviewer for Gary! None was as deep and sharp as this one.
    Jeez, just amazing!
    edit: oooooh at the title Stephanie Ruhle. Jeez this woman rocks! :D

    You are an amazing speaker, GV and live your brand with integrity. Couldn't believe how riveting you were in Vancouver. But keep in mind how much you hate being interrupted in this interview. Yet you do so repeatedly on your show. Sometimes listening is the good and beautiful and deeply truthful thing to do. Wish you the best.

    I'm watching this in Sept 2019 and it still holds up well. The energy and chemistry is so good that it's very entertaining, and that's what makes it evergreen content. Gary's newer content is being edited by people who are relying more on fancy production value gimmicks to get attention. I don't think that will hold up well in the long run. Production value ages poorly, but the audience will always identify with the chemistry that Gary and Stephanie have.
    This video illustrates that Gary does better when he has someone who can match him...and Stephanie does this brilliantly. She's not just trying to win the argument, she's trying to find the truth and create story. I don't see too many people who are willing to challenge Gary in a public forum like this. Most of them have lame-ass questions that lead nowhere. They just want Gary on their show to get more attention for their brand. Stephanie truly seems to care about the world she lives in. It's not just about her.
    Gary's comment that "we get scared when we get old" is very true. It's a metaphor for change and our ability to adapt to it. Few of us are good at adapting to the present, let alone the inevitable change that will follow. So the only thing we are good at...is fear, anxiety, stress, and escape. Gary's relationship with fear is one of the most fascinating things about him. Because fear is our biggest weakness and Gary is immune to it. He feeds on it. It empowers him. If we could all just learn how to fail without fear...it would automatically grant us a win. The ultimate blessing is the power to die without fear. It's the unlock to everything.

    This is probably the best Gary Vee interview I've ever seen, though I'm fairly new to Gary's world.
    When she asked him about a once-iconic brand and he said "Nintendo", I literally raised my hand and cried out like I was in church.
