As far as I'm concerned, even Elvis had nothing, whatever, on this man. Since I am NOT all-that-sentimental, how does this man's song bring me to-tears? The video segment in which he's in the car, shaking his head, singing, "...wishing I could getchu-back...," shows you the sheer extent of his authenticity. AMAZING.
From South African farmer - Excellent all the way through - we hear it on radio here is SA - Cape Town regularly ( Radio - RSG 102 fm ) - good to hear a voice like yours to liven up the mood here where we live day to day in uncertainty. Just saw him perform this song in a tiny 250-seat venue in Prince George, BC. Sitting in the 3rd row, it was quite the moving experience. He sounds even better live than he does in studio!
I play this guys albums at my pals beach club in Koh Samui and he always get guests asking who's singing. I think Williams music just hits a spot in our consciousness. Such a beautiful voice and lyrics. Massive respect from sunny Thailand 🇹🇭.

UA-cam did this to me about 3 years ago and just sent me the video and I fell in love with his voice all over again, I have sent it to all my friends, turned my circle to a little fan club. Apparently for some reason it was a little popular in South Africa and my cable provider played in once but without his name and I stopped in my tracts hearing his voice, btw I am in Nigeria .

My grandmother was Mi'kmaq, African American, and European and loved all genres of music. She owned multiple instruments that she played fluently. Didn't have a chance to introduce her to William Prince before she passed. But as an Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, & George Jones fan, I'm sure she'd absolutely love William Prince. There's only a handful of musicians in every genre that have moved me to tears and he's one.
Absolutely. I'm an online music store owner who lives for music and have heard a little of everything, and this song grabbed me the first time I heard it on CMT Pure. It would have been like the first time hearing Elvis or Johnny Cash in early 1950s, or Charlie Rich who was an extraordinary soul & blues singer of which the public hardly knew. Lindi Ortega is another Canadian artist with a quirky but amazing voice who's been called the female Johnny Cash. William had a golden voice!
So many comments about hearing this song while driving - I heard him yesterday in the middle of nowhere Sask and had to look him up. Goosebump inducing voice.

I think it's because his country music roots dig down further than the standard fare. So, so, so talented and a lovely man in character as well.

Saw William perform in Banff, nice small venue. Fabulous show. He's a great singer, composer, and a good entertainer. Can't wait to see him perform again.
When me and my husband started our friendship in 2019 I introduced him to William Prince and this song thru UA-cam. Fast forward to June 26th ,2021 this is our first dance song as husband and wife... I've always loved this song and now it holds another layer of memories.

The first time i heard this song was yesterday morning whilst travelling through the counrtyside at 6.30 am on my own with a long jouney ahead. I was driving through a valley with cattle and lush green fields, and this song just transported me to a dream I have of horse riding in America on a ranch. @Robert Canada has a LOT of top-shelf musicians. It would do Nashville good to wake up and open their ears AND eyes to serious 'unboxed' talent such as William's. I was bowled over the first time I heard him, four years back. Stop me in my tracks. Had I been cooking, the grits would have burned.
