Yes! And, if you ever want to try out CharlieCurls, it's a one piece heatless curler that you can literally wear anywhere, anytime and it takes as little as 30 seconds to put in your hair and is safe for all ages! 💖
bish DISGOSTING IT DID!! I had to touch up three curls on the left side because I didn’t wrap them high enough but the right side it totally untouched!
Omg I just did this last night and my curls look amazing. I have tried every heartless curl under the sun and this is the only thing that come close to looking like it was curled with an iron. You are an angel for discovering this and sharing it!!! Everyone needs to try this!!
Plus it’s super time effective!! I just did this and it took me maybe 5-8 minutes my first try! A lot faster than the 45 minutes it takes to heat curl my thin hair 😋
The robe belt is genius! i've tried heatless curls with headbands before, always a disaster unwrapping my long hair. this looks so much easier just continuing to wind it down the length of the belt!
I have naturally wavy hair and tried this after taking a shower and letting my hair dry a little bit. This was so much easier and faster than my go to dutch braid. My hair looks great! Thank you so much!!!
I tried this and it worked very well. I made a couple of changes- 1- I used some leave in conditioner instead of water to just dampen my hair; 2 - instead of making princess leaha (sp?) buns, I took each of the ends to the back/nap of my head/neck, crossed them and then wrapped them back around the front and tied them on my forehead. That way I can sleep on my back and sides without buns being in the way. Thanks for the video.
I have tried SO MANY hair hacks for unmanageable/frizzy/wavy hair, and none of them have worked as advertised. However, this method worked so well for me!! Thank you for this hack which I will most certainly use again! :)
Courtney Linville I’ve been wanting to try the Robe belt and I was sad bc I don’t have one thanks for mentioning this 😭😂😂 I do have a pantyhose, I’m going to try it nowww💗
just wanted to comment and say that this tutorial ROCKS and 100% works! There were a few wonky curls when I took it out this morning, but it was a quick fix with a curling iron. I only had to do it for like 3 curls, then BAM. Beautiful hair all day that lasts. Thanks again for the great tip!
This actually works! I have tried many different heatless curl methods over the years but this is the best one I have tried! Looks like I used a curling iron but these curls last much longer and they were quicker to do. Everyone should try it!
Honestly the best tutorial ever!!! I've always struggled with heatless curls especially robe curls but I don't know why this tutorial just helped so much and now I can do beautiful robe curls and I just love it !!!!! Thank you so much for these tutorials you do they honestly help me so much ❤️
I am actually so happy to try this. I was going to wash my hair in a few hours but I'm too excited to try it out seeing as all the comments are so positive! This is absolutely amazing so thank you sooooo much for helping everyone out.💛
Iv been doing this for the past week I was so sick of curling my hair for work, these curls look so good and my hair looks and feel more healthier doing this! I’m soooo glad I found this video! I don’t even have to put in any effort in the mornings just unravel my hair and it looks really nice like I tried but didn’t haha! Definitely works!
this is literally a life saver. my hair is down to my butt and i try not to use heat on it whenever possible but i also like to have curly hair every now and then. however, my hair is way too long to fit around a curling wand and it seems to dry out my hair. i’m typing this just as i finished and it was so easy to do. so much less time and effort than the curling wand, and the robe belt can fit all of my long hair!!!!! hopefully they work out well in the morning 🤞🏼😊 thanks so much ❤
I’ve always looked at hair tutorials and see comments saying how it didn’t work or they just couldn’t do it, this seems to have different outcomes, hesitant to try for tonight!
So pretty!! I have been wearing my hair curled daily. It’s been easier for me to wear it curled since I’ve been trying not to wash it everyday, so basically, I’ll curl it with a curling iron the first day after I wash it and it stays curled for the next two days if I do a little upkeep in between. I think I’m going to try this technique as soon as the shaved side I’m growing back in gets another inch or two longer! Love this idea!! 🖤
I’ve been doing another version of this for years but I love the robe idea! Going to try this soon! I also love sea salt spray too dampen my hair, gives it a lot of texture
OMG. I tried this last night and i woke up to the most curly hair ever. i will say i used a thin curtain tie so that could also be why but it went a bit down throughout the day and i love it! Will def try with bigger hair divisions to make it less curly but its a life saver for when u dont want to deal with your hair for once!
This is one of the best reviews for this type of DIY! LOVE IT! Thanks, will be trying this very soon. I have A LOT of hair and hate flattening it and using heat tools just to tame it. I love my natural hair texture which is wavy, not pin-straight. BTW, you are a natural beauty, have great hair, and the curls suit you really well.
I am genuinely surprised with how beautiful they turned out. I definitely need to try this! I also like how they don’t seem very uncomfortable to sleep in, which is what has always prohibited me from the overnight methods. Looks better than hot iron curls!
This has got to be the best ways to get curls! I love curling my hair but never did much because it took so long! I now can have curl with out the fuss! I’m in love! Thank you show me to the light 😆
It really worked for me as well! Another alternative that i think may work(im not sure) is prob like after u shower ur hair, you do the same method, wait for maybe 15 mins or smthg like you can do ur makeup, eat etc. and then ur a hairdryer to blow dry ur hair without removing the robe and when its dry, you take it out maybe it might work as well, im not sure
For clear elastics, I recently saw a video on how you can apply a drop of lemon essential oil, either directly from the bottle, or with a Qtip, and the elastic instantly pops off. Zero effort, it works really well.
This gives the same effect as headband curls but you don't have the headband dent! You probably could tie the two ends together and it would look like the headband curls but again little to no dent. Very smart! I'm gonna try it and I'm excited to see the results.
Fay Coleman I have pretty good luck getting rid of the headband dent by adding a bit of dry shampoo at the roots, flipping my head over and kind of shaking my hair out from the scalp. If that makes any sense lol.
I saw this last week on Marcela Tumas’s UA-cam....I honestly didn’t think it would work but it totally works! My daughter is obsessed with these heatless curls and has been wearing them every other night this week!!! We just used a strip of fabric...the same kind of fabric as the bathrobe fabric.... I just didn’t have a bathrobe belt.😁 I highly recommend this no heat style!🙌🏻💕
Beautiful baby 😊 Love this heatless curl technique! I’m definitely gonna try. My poor scalp is so sore at my crown from doing ponytails/braid overnight. Thank you! Also, your hair is absolutely beautiful!
You look much more beautiful and wholesome in this video. You have a great wholesome spirit about you . That’s a great example to young girls and children. Love these wholesome videos. Keep it up! :)
laineymariebeauty I’ve tried it and it turned out great the first time! Although I must add I didn’t use a robe belt as I don’t have any! But it still worked, I just twisted the hair around around itself. Thank you very much, finally a method that doesn’t take an hour (very important!!) and looks amazing, and doesn’t need any “equipment” - so glad I can have great hair without having another annoying gadget lying around the house 😊 why haven’t I come across this earlier?! So many years of struggles that I almost gave up on ever having curls!
This works so well!! My curls came out almost the same as hers, just a bit looser. I usually braid my hair when I want headless waves, but I think this works better. I sleep on my stomach so it didn’t bother me when I slept. If you sleep on your side I would recommend tying the belt together in the back and using bobby pins. That’s what I did because the buns seemed a bit uncomfortable to sleep in
Okay, I have literally tried every lazy girl way to have bomb hair out there... the crazy, the weird, the expensive 😂😭 I searched out of boredom thinking I've seen it all already, but NO this is FAR AND AWAY my fave. Literally life changing ty & I'm super curious how you stumbled upon this idea? 💖💖🥰
Thank you soooooooo much for your video!!! Me and my fiancé used it to get my curls for our wedding!!! Since we got married right before locked at home and because of our immigration paperwork we could not wait till corona virus is over we just used your video to do it at home and not use other human contact! It came out amazing!!!
OMG I have a virtual ceremony today, so I tried this out last night because I wanted to freshen up my look a bit, and none of the other ones that are heatless worked, but this one worked like magic!!! Thank you lainelymariebeauty SO MUCH for making heatless hair curling SO EASY!!🤩🤩
This was supercool. My stylist was recently telling me about this sort of technique-and then you appear in my suggested UA-cam tutorials! Thank you-and the baby was adorable too : ))
The hair curled beautifully with this method. I'm just wondering how flat the top of the hair will be for me, as I typically like a little lift at the crown. I'm willing to give this a try, though. Thanks!
♥️You've got a new sub.NEVER USE RUBBER BANDS causes breakage! If you use strips of fabric as rollers takes longer to curls but you have control over direction of the curls. I'm definitely going to try this! Thanks! Worked out great, sleept fine! It's not as much trouble, It didn't give the direction like with individual wrapped. I'm going to work on best way of taking it down. Used no metal ponytail holders and scrunchies to put hold the robe in side buns.
I was skeptical about this at first but I’ve already done this twice and love it! I didn’t have a robe belt so I just used a thicker, longer ribbon and it works great. Love that I can get long lasting curls without having to own curlers or a curling iron. Great idea for traveling too! The only thing I have to figure out is what to use to keep frizz down. Any suggestions?
I tried this on my very very curly hair and it came out amazing! It’s obviously more curly than yours but omg I was so impressed because heatless curls never come out good on me
French braids don't give a pretty curl , more of a wave , usually kind of clumped in the strands that they were braided. You can always tell when someone has slept in braids VS a curling iron. These look more like a classic curling iron curl.
Sierra Marini I sort of agree... I only do one main French braid down the back and since I have some layers, and it’s thick, it comes out great. When I do two braids, it’s more noticeable and not as polished. Esp if hair is thin at bottom then waves are uneven. This is def prettier, but my method works well on my hair. Just like makeup, it’s different for everywhere.
Hy! Just to let you know I tried it last night, woke up in the morning and BAM, curls just like I did them with a curling iron. Just a tip for future use - try putting the buns more on the side or on the very middle of your head (depends on how you are sleeping) becasue it was really difficult to fall asleep 😂 Thanks for the discovery!
Much easier - wrap the damped sections of your hair around your fingers, the number of fingers and the thickness of sections depend on if you want the curls or the waves. Then take two or more hairpins and X pin the wrapped sections to your head. You can sleep on it and in the morning you will have beautiful curly or wavy hairdo. Make sure you don't leave any hanging "tails" after pinning the sections. It may take a bit of practice but soon it becomes effortless and you can do it even watching tv
I don't usually leave comments but i have to say that this method honestly works! I prefer my hair curly but also trying to stay away from hot tools. I've searched high and low for a method that works and this 100% works. I would be happy to show you myself if you need proof! :-D.
As someone who has really thick hair that is medium/shorter length, I was really surprised to see how well this work! The back is a bit flat but I can’t really do much about that. The only problem is that my hair is rock solid when you put it in a bun so I had to get a little creative with tying it up
I only very recently found your channel, but you give me such hope that I can do some of your hairstyles!!! You go slow enough and explain it so beginners have a chance! I also adore how if something didn't go as planned, you show us how to fix it! Thank you.
I have just tried this. And we will see in the morning how it turned out. I'm very excited 😍 I have naturally curly hair, but my curls are veery dry and damaged. I have no idea why cause I never use any kind of heat on my hair.. And whatever I try, my curls are just gone the day after washing my hair. Is there anyone with similar problem? How to deal with it? How to make your curls last longer, and how to get rid of fuzinness? Btw, i loved your video. Can't wait to see my curls tomorrow🥰
this worked so goooooood, I watched Nathalies video first and then I bumped in yours! I had the same problem one side turns out good when the other doesn't. Good video btw
i tried this and did it too tight and it was super hard to sleep in... but the curls were beautiful after! I will definitely try this one which seems much better.. I strongly suggest that you put hairspray... for my hair type, by the end of the day the curls had all dropped and almost all gone!!
here to let everyone know that this worked beautifully
cris yay!!🙌🏻
here to agree that this also worked for me beautifully! ~ sincerely a white girl with very long, relatively thick hair :)

if you use something thinner like tights instead of a dressing gown belt it holds thinner/layered hair better and there's less sticky out bits

The hair curled beautifully with this method. I'm just wondering how flat the top of the hair will be for me, as I typically like a little lift at the crown. I'm willing to give this a try, though. Thanks!
I hope it works for you!! Thanks for watching :)
Works fantastic! I'm so excited about this technique, because it works without any hair loss and it's fast and comfortable to sleep in too! 😍😍😍
Yay!! so happy to hear! thanks for watching :)
Trying!! I have long hair and so I’m curious how this looks in the morning 😂💕🙏🏻
Kaleigh Wheat ah! I hope it turns out well!!
Joy Lake awesome!!! That makes me so happy to hear! I hate elastics and definitely
need to stop using them!
Just saying if you do this with a lobg ribbon instead of robe this can actually be such a pretty hairstyle to go out in!!!
🤤🤤😯😯😯😯 holy crap. I curl my hair like every other day..... this is life changing. 🥰😘👌🙌❤
a b yes! Definitely worth a try!
Wow! Im surprised! It really worked and it was easy, fast, and i loved the result! I recommend to try it!
I tried this on my very very curly hair and it came out amazing! It’s obviously more curly than yours but omg I was so impressed because heatless curls never come out good on me
Brooke that’s amazing!! I wondered how it would look on naturally curly hair! Thanks for sharing 😊❤️
What a brilliant idea! And you are a gorgeous girl with no makeup on. Wow!
Eileen you are too kind! Thank you!!
I’m a big fan of just doing a French braid at night, but I’m definitely trying this! Awesome idea! (Btw....typo in title. Sorry, I’m a teacher 🤪🤓)
Brie B OMG 😳 fixing as soon as I can get to a computer!!! Lol. Thanks for catching and for watching my video! ❤️
laineymariebeauty new sub! Been binge watching your videos! I’m loving smaller channels lately. You’re still real 😍😆
Brie B awe thank you 😭❤️
French braids don't give a pretty curl , more of a wave , usually kind of clumped in the strands that they were braided.
This is the first really detailed instruction for heatless curls I could find! Thank you so much for making it.
Wet is "wetter" than damp...lol
I do a similar wrap/twist technique that ends in a twist bun but only use hair! hopefully this will actually make my curls the one length
well size lol
ava o donnell yay!! I hope it works!!
Freaky that when you said it was 12:04 I looked at the time and it was 12:04 at night too. Found your video by pure coincidence. Freaky.
Hahah very freaky!
woww me too haha
Same here!!
I can’t believe this worked!!!!! Thank you so much for sharing!
You could buy a used robe belt at a thrift store and cut the belt to fit
April Hutchens good idea! 😊❤️
April Hutchens
That’s exactly what I was thinking!
Amazing!! Thanks for sharing!!
Sidonie Winter Pasternak I need a tutorial 😆❤️
I don't usually leave comments but i have to say that this method honestly works! I prefer my hair curly but also trying to stay away from hot tools. I've searched high and low for a method that works and this 100% works. I would be happy to show you myself if you need proof! :-D.
Her: “Most of us girls, women have a robe”
Me: I don’t own a robe...
Is there anything I can use besides a robe belt? Also, love the results!!
Jazmin Garache 😆Long socks!? ❤️
Jazmin Garache cut a long, old towel? (Btw you need a robe! You’re missing out! )
Oooh a tie belt from a coat!
Or a tie from the boyfriend/husband/whatever 🤷♀️
Tights worked great for me!
As someone who has really thick hair that is medium/shorter length, I was really surprised to see how well this work! The back is a bit flat but I can’t really do much about that.
The only problem is that my hair is rock solid when you put it in a bun so I had to get a little creative with tying it up
gets back to putting hair in rags goes back over 100 years.
More than a 100 lol
I only very recently found your channel, but you give me such hope that I can do some of your hairstyles!!! You go slow enough and explain it so beginners have a chance! I also adore how if something didn't go as planned, you show us how to fix it! Thank you.
That means so much!! Truly appreciate the comment. Thank you :)
I have just tried this. And we will see in the morning how it turned out. I'm very excited 😍
I have naturally curly hair, but my curls are veery dry and damaged.
I am going to try this on my natural curly hair. So that it can be more controled, it's gonna be lit!!
Ah Its going to look so good!
Tried this last night and it worked perfectly! Thank you!
This is the first heatless hairstyle that has ever worked for me, the waves were beautiful plus they lasted for 3 days! Thank you so much💕
Wow! That's amazing!! Thanks for sharing :)
Chloe Lovatt what type of hair do you have? Cause it didn’t work for me
I tried this a few days ago - it worked beautifully and I love you so much for this video! Thank you!
Those curls look great!!! I cannot wait to try this tonight!!!! Thx for sharing this!!!!
Thanks for watching :)
My robe is satin, so I'm gonna try this! The softer material may be less drying to my hair. Thanks for the tutorial.
i tried this and did it too tight and it was super hard to sleep in... but the curls were beautiful after! I will definitely try this one which seems much better.. I strongly suggest that you put hairspray... for my hair type, by the end of the day the curls had all dropped and almost all gone!!
Just tried Thisbe last night and it worked reealllyy well!!!😁🎉
