Okay the bad thing about these plant based meats is they’re heavily processed and really bad for you. There’s a way to be vegan and make some mock meat dishes but these plant based “impossible” meats are full of shit
"How to buy meat at the grocery store" Well first off avoid any bs that they are trying to sell and go to your local butcher or friend that actually would like the money instead of paying a multi billion dollar corporation. Think local not global people.
I like how if the situation was reversed and a vegan or vegetarian put a plant based meat into the burger patty section people shit on them for trying to "impose their ideas". 😬
I saw so much comments on the internet of vegans pushing their beliefs on other by simply saying that they recommend people to try out veganism vegan because its the healthiest diet and it's better for the planet. Imagine a vegan influencer said that they are doing meat eaters a favor and then placing vegan stuff in the meat isle (implying that eating meat is unpalatable and/or not work spending your money on). So no this is not made up stuff, I bet you know exactly what im talking about.
@@adriancalisto3409 I know exactly what your talking about. All I'm saying is that its perception. Its our choice to create what we perceive. Thats all. Its a good practice. It has nothing to do with eating meat. Its about human nature and perpetuating what we believe to be true.
As a vegan, true. NEVER buy meat substitutes unless you’re getting them from a local business. They’re so overpriced in grocery stores it’s disgusting.
I love how most people are talking about "The dino nugget are in the next door calm down" not realizing he said isle, not door. So that whole row, is plant based
I like the dystopian idea that some citizens won’t be high enough status to be worth actual meat so plant based alternatives are their only choice. I get the steak you get plant particles shapes like steak 👌👌
Meat has been a luxury for most of human history. Only recently can the average (first world) person eat factory farmed meat everyday and have the chance to become twice the size he should be. And plant based alternatives can be very tasty and are often healthier.
zorb ef meat has literally nothing to do with the fast food induced obesity crisis... but yeah go ahead and eat the plant then while everyone laughs at you lol I’m going to cook myself a nice prime rib steak and smoke a rack of ribs for later
Interesting tidbit, when frozen or refrigerated food is found in another cooler the employees are required to trash it. The employees don’t know if the item was taken straight from one cooler to the other or if someone walked around the store with it, then put it back. The store can not guess that stuff or people get sick. Congratulations for wasting good food.

@@digitalclown2008 vegans are making a real difference in this world. You don't have to be one, neither am I, but placing Dino nuggets in the freezer because you think the food is bad is kinda edgy and trying hard to gather the meat crowd behind him
@@_MC529 vegans are making a much smaller difference than you think. Being vegan will never be an actual solution to climate change unless enough people convert. And that just is not reasonable or possible. Most vegans are white. You know why? Because it's easy for them to let go of their diets because they aren't culturally significant to them. However outside of this bubble, people will NEVER rapidly convert to plant based diets. (And no it does not taste like meat.) People would be better off looking into alternative forms of cattle farming that are eco friendly, such as regenerative agriculture. There are also solutions being proposed to capture methane emmited from animals. I'll be blunt with you. Becoming vegan to help the environment is lazy and makes no difference. And if people piddle around hoping that everyone will switch their diet to save the planet... We're gonna kill the planet before we even get a quarter of the way there. We need to shift our focus to more REASONABLE and QUICKER solutions. We don't have the time to wait. The only real good excuse for switching your diet to a plant based one is in protest of animal cruelty. And the whole meatless monday thing is pretty smart. Edit: I claimed majority white in my vegan statement, and still stand by that regulardless of the polling done (just based on culture)... However to be more accurate I think I'd say AMERICANS and EUROPEANS. And even trying to bundle in europeans is stretching it, because they actually have a lot of culturally significant meat dishes.
@@digitalclown2008 regenerative agriculture and cattle farming doesn't work on a 8 billion people scale. While it of course is better to transition towards more eco-friendliness, vegans are cutting their CO2 footprint by a lot. I does make a huge difference since most rainforest loss, emissions, mass species extinction and a lot of pollution is caused by the large-scale farming we practice today. Also, Whites still have the highest meat consumption rate of the entire world. There are more vegetarians and vegans to be found on the Indian subcontinent than in North America, Europe and Oceania combined. Directly consuming plant products instead of first feeding it to livestock is a 900% more efficient calorie intake.
@@_MC529 💀💀💀 Whites consume more FOOD in general due to industrialization. And the whole "india has lots of vegans" thing is kinda wack to me. That is also a cultural dietary practice. If you bring their diet up in the convo you also have to recognize other dietary practices in other countries. They are all incredibly important. And regenerative agriculture does work. Idk why TF so many people straight up lie about that shit. Anywhere where you read "This won't work globally" is straight up talking out their ass. All respectable professionals in the climate change debate aknowledge that attempting to make any "global" predictions are vague and innacurate. There are so many varaibles along the way you can't possibly make accurate assumptions. We need to move towards regenerative agriculture anyways because we need to start treating our topsoil better.

Plant based meats are epic, tastes like meat with no harm to animals, I'm not a vegan but I do believe we should restrict how much real meat we eat.
vegan meat is more of a novelty.
Watched that one mark rober vid, my issue is that it only really works for ground meats, and also costs more than normal meat
Please speak for yourself
@@dylanhonafius1485 thank you man literally if the real deal is gonna be cheaper and better how in the hell do you expect me to restrict my real meat use
I love your dry humor and meat slaps
The plant based isn't that bad, when I fist tried the impossible burger from burgers king I didn't know it was a plant burger cause I had a coupon for a free one,I only found out after seeing an add for it and was confused because it tasted like a normal burger and I had no idea, but nothing beats a good piece of beef though
love these people saying 'it tasted like normal beef couldnt tell the difference' and then 'but nothing beats a good piece of beef though'
@@huts3261 these people are just straight up lying lmao
@@huts3261 it doesn't taste as well as a real burger, but some plant based burgers, with emphasis on some, are actully tasty and pretty good, again, not as good as a burger, but sometimes it can come quite close
Yeah because textured vegetable protein is sooooo good for you....not
Okay the bad thing about these plant based meats is they’re heavily processed and really bad for you. There’s a way to be vegan and make some mock meat dishes but these plant based “impossible” meats are full of shit
Thank you for telling me how to buy meat at a store. I've been doing it wrong for 30 years of my life
I actually like the plant based alternatives.. Especially the burger patties. Dont need minced Beef no more for that 🤷🏼♂️
Yeah especially beyond beef if you make some stuffed burgers out of the "beef" (idk what to say) it soo good

"How to buy meat at the grocery store"
Well first off avoid any bs that they are trying to sell and go to your local butcher or friend that actually would like the money instead of paying a multi billion dollar corporation. Think local not global people.
Or refrain from holocausting animals for sandwiches because alternatives exist? Think ethically not selfishly

Not really. Just what you created in your own mind
@@adriancalisto3409
I know exactly what your talking about. All I'm saying is that its perception. Its our choice to create what we perceive.
Thats all. Its a good practice. It has nothing to do with eating meat. Its about human nature and perpetuating what we believe to be true.
You're not saving ... you're buying a lower quality for cheaper...
His point is youre getting a prime full for the same price as choice flat so you should just get the prime one. So its higher quality for the same
He slapped that meat weirdly
Thanks for letting me know about the “look for deals” method. Thank you
I'm glad I know how to buy meats now. Been having a tough time finding them.
As a vegan, true. NEVER buy meat substitutes unless you’re getting them from a local business. They’re so overpriced in grocery stores it’s disgusting.
I realized he called Costco a GROCERY store.
What is it then 🤷♂️
I love how most people are talking about "The dino nugget are in the next door calm down" not realizing he said isle, not door. So that whole row, is plant based
i know this comment is old but maybe if u paid attention you’d notice the dino nuggets are literally right next to the plant based meats in the video
@@tourdel2 was just gonna say that lol
I like the dystopian idea that some citizens won’t be high enough status to be worth actual meat so plant based alternatives are their only choice. I get the steak you get plant particles shapes like steak 👌👌
Scary. But thats similar to how it was back in the day for certain cultures. Only the rich and powerful could afford meat.
I mean it probably won't happen in your lifetime.... But if we don't keep advancing or hit any filters plant based shit will save millions
That already happen and could still be happening in other places, and it's wasn't good trust me
Meat has been a luxury for most of human history.
I think he missed the step of paying $100 for a Costco membership
Depending on how much you buy and if you use the gas stations it can still save you money
Wait what?! 100 dollars?
This is how to buy your meat wisely
Just bring max to the store
Of course a man who hates plant based foods will say "Nuggies" instead of nuggets😂.
Thats what they’re called in my mind
Interesting tidbit, when frozen or refrigerated food is found in another cooler the employees are required to trash it. The employees don’t know if the item was taken straight from one cooler to the other or if someone walked around the store with it, then put it back. The store can not guess that stuff or people get sick. Congratulations for wasting good food.
I worked at Costco for a little bit. This is not true.
Being someone who ate steak everyday and suddenly meat just stopped agreeing with me, have gone vegetarian I find everyone attacks me but every time I eat meat my stomach just goes crazy 🤦🏾♀️🤣 I do miss it 😢
I feel your you. Hope you get back your flora

You need a membership card with Costco for alot of what they sell, just a heads up.
We have the executive membership which gives cash back every year. We use that bonus to cover the cost of renewal. Add to that the amount of money we save on groceries and things like cleaning supplies and it more than pays for itself.

(And no it does not taste like meat.)
People would be better off looking into alternative forms of cattle farming that are eco friendly, such as regenerative agriculture.
Lmao the skip the veggie part.
