Expride is hard to beat for the money. Have a boat full paired with Curados, love them all. They definitely are a little stiff for their ratings. Understand that anyone looking to buy, especially if coming from Loomis or Dobyns. Always enjoy the vids Tim.

They are incredible rods! As mentioned, if I was going to get a Dobyns Champ or this, I'd definitely go with this! Glad you enjoyed and glad for your feedback to anyone considering the rod.

I 100% agree. I feel at a certain point you're definitely getting deminishing returns. It's an extemely nice rod but certainly not necessary

If I hadn't gotten the rod for a lot less than new, I'd of never gotten it. But I've heard great things and wanted to try it. And it is great. Just a little too rich for my blood at new, lol. This Elite had bad bearings from the factory I'm afraid. None of my other Tatulas have ever sounded like that.
