My MIL survived an aneurysm bursting in the center of her brain, but she recovered! Went on to live another 15 years. So, miracles do happen! She was able to walk and speak, but she did have to have a tracheal tube though. She forgot the names of things and would refer to them as something else. After a while, I was able to understand her language and knew what she was asking for.
I am in agreement as well she is trying her best to talk she's so strong and the Lord is the Lord of miracles. I think the conversations and sheer will is connecting the right places in her brain praying and agreeing with all of these beautiful people for her healing 💗💗🙏❤️

The power of prayer is awesome. It's by the grace of God, and the power of prayer that my mother is alive. Eighteen years ago my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer, and you name it, and it happened to her. She was on a ventilator twice, and was in the hospital for 3 months. When they ween them off a ventilator it takes time for them to wake up from their coma. Also, the tube down her airway keeps them from being able to talk. She is showing great progress. Miracles do happen. God is awesome! Sending love, and continued prayers to grandma, and you and family.
Connections in her brain are being healed and reconnected in new areas without the damage. Dont let anyone tell you that its not possible because she is proving that it is possible. She is clearly responding to you and her environment. My prayers are not only for healing but for those connections in her brain to keep firing and finding new pathways back to wholeness.Shew Andrea I feel the power of the Lord in this room im sitting in right now. Praise God! Lord, we are believing in a full recovery for Grandma Esther. We pray Lord that a hedge of protection will be placed around her; allowing her time to heal. The world moves so fast and she is just a number to the medical community but to her family, loved ones and friends around the world, she is very loved. Andrea‘s babies need her and I am believing Father God that the next report that we receive as a community is that she woke up and she said “I want to live” we trust in you Lord and we will trust that whatever plans that you have for her Lord, we will continue to praise your name on high and give you all the glory. Prayers for you and your mother. When you are there visiting with her, let her know what the weather is, sunny, cloudy, humid, what ever it is. Let her know you would love for her to remind you of a certain thing that has happened or somewhere you have been. She might not be able to “remember” so state it as what a special memory something had been. Laughing through a time makes the visit easier, even when your heart is hurting. Treasuring this time is so needed. It is a difficult time but so thankful you, and the children, have been there as much as you have. Their precious voices when they are singing to her warms her heart, even if she can’t say it. Prayers for everyone visit and time spent with her! You have stayed remarkably strong.
I'm not strong, I'm putting it all in a little box until I have the strength to open it and deal with it. I'm in a big daze right now, I cant even listen to people talk. They say things to me and I ignore them because I can't hear or concentrate, I'm a wreck. When this box opens, I'll need therapy for sure. It's full of pain, but I have to keep it together at the moment. The vlogs of us talking to each other and the kids talking in the vlogs are what she reacts to the most, and it brings back recent memories for her because she loved watching the vlogs and reading comments and stuff. She is going to have a ton of comments to read when she's able

You can tell shes aware of what you're saying as she looks shocked or confused when you mentioned how long shes been in there. Almost as though its disbelief. I completely understand what you must be going through my dad had 2 aneurysms that popped, a catastrophic brain bleed, and a stroke he only had a 1% chance of survival back in 2018 but he made it I pray grandma makes it as well I know it’s possible 🙏🙏🙏
How long did it take him to recover? I believe my mom would have made a pretty close to normal recovery had she not been given Heparin that she's allergic to - it caused more damage. Did your dad have therapy and stay at a rehab place for a while? The brain can do amazing things. Ive seen worse with good outcomes, we are hopeful! I'm glad your dad was able to recover
@@FoolyLiving it takes months sometimes years to recover he still has some deficits like walking slower, unsteady gate, short term memory loss, and some vision loss in one eye. He was in a rehab facility for a few months after he was out of the hospital. They preformed brain surgery on him as well he had to go to a hospital 2 hours away and when i visited him he wasn’t with it at all he had to do alot of therapy and still can’t recognize numbers or letters

Im confused how she was sitting up and doing OT but is now heading to hospice? She 100% is aware of her surroundings and responds to your commands! She's in there!! It's not a coincidence that she's responding to you every time you ask her to move her mouth etc and then not moving when you're not asking her to move. You can get off hospice if you make a turn around but in her current situation they can help her and make sure she is comfortable. My mom was in hospice for 3 years before she passed. So basically she still qualifies for hospice in her current condition. Welcome all the help you can get for her. My mom was in a nursing home when she went in hospice and they are understaffed around the country so it was nice to have an additional care for my mom. Hospice is amazing.
I just don't understand how she was doing Occupational Therapy one minute and now is going to hospice and having her breathing tube removed etc. I thought she was improving... Also, for the Drs to say that it's "Just a coincidence" for her to respond to Andrea is surely incorrect? She responds on command...

My dad was constantly hounded by the case manager for my mom to get out. Literally after 10 days of being there and every day after that she hounded him to move her out of the hospital - take her home or take her to hospice. My dad finally caved to get this woman off his back. Case managers have a special place reserved for them when its their time. Evil and pushy.

I just don’t understand the American health system ( here in Australia we are so lucky to have Medicare & they fight tooth & nail to save a life ) . My sister has been battling tongue cancer for the last year. She slipped into a comb this week. They found a cloth and new lungs. She had been revived two times once at home, and the second time, she was at the hospital. She does have some brain damage. But they're not sure how much until she wakes up. Please pray that she'll wake up. She has a 12 and 14 year old that need her. I need her.🙏💔😭

I am not a medical person, but in my opinion, Esther really looks like she is hearing you, and responding. I hope it okay to say this, but I truly believe she is going to pull through this. She's make of strong stuff. We need her here! One day she will look back and be able to tell you just how much she appreciated you fighting for her, Andrea. She will be able to tell you she heard every encouraging, loving word and shoulder squeeze, and how she heard your kids singing and playing videos to her. Again, I am no expert by a long shot, but she seems so close to coming back.

i am a CNA that has worked with MANY older people with ALL KINDS of health problems, it looked to me that she was trying VERY HARD to say "I WANT TO LIVE" I am praying for her and your entire family. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP ON HER, I know it is hard to do but there maybe a way to get her into a rehab. ( please have someone with her at all times though) or Medicare might ( if doctors ok it) pay for home care ( of course family would have to care for her daily as well) Talk with the doctors about getting her home or in a rehab. Hospice does not always mean death. TALK WITH THE HOSPICE PEOPLE/NURSE and let them know you want to give her EVERY CHANCE of waking up and rehab of any kind IF POSSIBLE. They may have suggestions.
I've watched this in slow motion and sped up, I have relied on lip reading since I was 14, Since she is without her teeth, her tongue won't be in the right position for speaking. I wish I could be of more help... I can see she's in there. She's just lost & cant find her way out.. u say u don't know what to do, but you being there is exactly what u should be doing. No words i can use will comfort or give u ease. But please know I do understand what u are going through. I went through a horrible situation with my mother last July, my heart is heavy for you.
I have also looked up an FMRI scan that can detect the brain reacting. Patients were told at a certain point to"imagine you are playing tennis and swinging your arms around and the doctors were able to see an array of colours and imaging in response. Please ask for an FMRI scan xxx Functional MRI .
Andrea, I am going through this now with my dear friend who suffered anoxic brain injury. When he first came out of a coma, the doctors were very clear that it takes a long while for the brain to ‘reset’ - everything has to wake up again, while new neural pathways are formed. Just be there and love on her and keep interacting. We played videos and songs and recorded messages to help stimulate.

Yes, she needs more time. No one can wake up within this short amount of time completely healed. Brain injury takes a long time to recover from!!

Andrea, your mom is definitely trying to talk and in my opinion, is fighting to wake up fully. You can tell shes aware of what you're saying as she looks shocked or confused when you mentioned how long shes been in there. Almost as though its disbelief. The fact that she's reacting and trying to talk or mouth words is amazing! This is 100% God's work. The power of faith and prayer! I completely understand what you must be going through my dad had 2 aneurysms that popped, a catastrophic brain bleed, and a stroke he only had a 1% chance of survival back in 2018 but he made it I pray grandma makes it as well I know it’s possible 🙏🙏🙏
How long did it take him to recover? I believe my mom would have made a pretty close to normal recovery had she not been given Heparin that she's allergic to - it caused more damage. Did your dad have therapy and stay at a rehab place for a while? The brain can do amazing things. Ive seen worse with good outcomes, we are hopeful! I'm glad your dad was able to recover
@@FoolyLiving it takes months sometimes years to recover he still has some deficits like walking slower, unsteady gate, short term memory loss, and some vision loss in one eye. He was in a rehab facility for a few months after he was out of the hospital. They preformed brain surgery on him as well he had to go to a hospital 2 hours away and when i visited him he wasn’t with it at all he had to do alot of therapy and still can’t recognize numbers or letters

Im confused how she was sitting up and doing OT but is now heading to hospice? She 100% is aware of her surroundings and responds to your commands! She's in there!! It's not a coincidence that she's responding to you every time you ask her to move her mouth etc and then not moving when you're not asking her to move. You can get off hospice if you make a turn around but in her current situation they can help her and make sure she is comfortable. My mom was in hospice for 3 years before she passed. So basically she still qualifies for hospice in her current condition. Welcome all the help you can get for her. My mom was in a nursing home when she went in hospice and they are understaffed around the country so it was nice to have an additional care for my mom. Hospice is amazing.
I just don't understand how she was doing Occupational Therapy one minute and now is going to hospice and having her breathing tube removed etc. I thought she was improving... Also, for the Drs to say that it's "Just a coincidence" for her to respond to Andrea is surely incorrect? She responds on command...
I’m not being mean ( cause I just love you guys & I would never want to upset you’s) but it hurts my heart that your father & brother gave up on your mum so quickly ! Thank the lord she has you having her back ! 💞❤️💞
My dad was constantly hounded by the case manager for my mom to get out. Literally after 10 days of being there and every day after that she hounded him to move her out of the hospital - take her home or take her to hospice. My dad finally caved to get this woman off his back. Case managers have a special place reserved for them when its their time. Evil and pushy.

I just don’t understand the American health system ( here in Australia we are so lucky to have Medicare & they fight tooth & nail to save a life ) . I guess as a long time subscriber & someone that almost feels you guys are family , I wish I could do more to help as I’m sure a lot of your other subscribers feel ! I don’t like feeling helpless , I just love the video’s where grandma’s in them . To see the beautiful loving relationship you have with your mum ( you truly look like best friends )! 💞❤️💞

I’m so glad u had the kids doctor pray over your mom . Canceling generational curses really works . prayer really works. The lord gives us authority and power in our words. Start speaking out loud over your moms healing . Like my mom is healed in Jesus name. My mom‘s brain is restored. My mom is full of health and strength. Do that many times a day . My sister has been battling tongue cancer for the last year. She slipped into a comb this week. They found a cloth and new lungs. She had been revived two times once at home, and the second time, she was at the hospital. She does have some brain damage. But they're not sure how much until she wakes up. Please pray that she'll wake up. She has a 12 and 14 year old that need her. I need her.🙏💔😭

I am not a medical person, but in my opinion, Esther really looks like she is hearing you, and responding. I hope it okay to say this, but I truly believe she is going to pull through this. She's make of strong stuff. We need her here! One day she will look back and be able to tell you just how much she appreciated you fighting for her, Andrea. She will be able to tell you she heard every encouraging, loving word and shoulder squeeze, and how she heard your kids singing and playing videos to her. Again, I am no expert by a long shot, but she seems so close to coming back.

i am a CNA that has worked with MANY older people with ALL KINDS of health problems, it looked to me that she was trying VERY HARD to say "I WANT TO LIVE" I am praying for her and your entire family. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP ON HER, I know it is hard to do but there maybe a way to get her into a rehab. ( please have someone with her at all times though) or Medicare might ( if doctors ok it) pay for home care ( of course family would have to care for her daily as well) Talk with the doctors about getting her home or in a rehab. Hospice does not always mean death. TALK WITH THE HOSPICE PEOPLE/NURSE and let them know you want to give her EVERY CHANCE of waking up and rehab of any kind IF POSSIBLE. They may have suggestions.
I've watched this in slow motion and sped up, I have relied on lip reading since I was 14, Since she is without her teeth, her tongue won't be in the right position for speaking. I wish I could be of more help... I can see she's in there. She's just lost & cant find her way out.. u say u don't know what to do, but you being there is exactly what u should be doing.
No words i can use will comfort or give u ease. But please know I do understand what u are going through. I went through a horrible situation with my mother last July, my heart is heavy for you.

I have also looked up an FMRI scan that can detect the brain reacting. Patients were told at a certain point to"imagine you are playing tennis and swinging your arms around and the doctors were able to see an array of colours and imaging in response. Please ask for an FMRI scan xxx

Andrea, I am going through this now with my dear friend who suffered anoxic brain injury. When he first came out of a coma, the doctors were very clear that it takes a long while for the brain to ‘reset’ - everything has to wake up again, while new neural pathways are formed. Just be there and love on her and keep interacting. We played videos and songs and recorded messages to help stimulate.
