I get that this is supposed to be a HMs fleet, but in general you would also want at least 1 DD for the lower the chance of encountering an airstrike or beeing intercepted by an enemy fleet. It also increases evasion chance once you are facing an interception fleet

It's a germanic name not a scotish one tough in this form, especially the burg part so Edin-burg is correct. Scots shouldn't have lost their independance and language if they want to keep their more celtic sounding names.
there are some complicated bit in number 2. About vanguard positioning, you also have to sort it by what you need too... since initial positioning affect torpedo launching too. the "riskiest" position is the one who launched torp first, despite its reload stat(if their torpedo are all reloaded, or its the begining of battle, when all torp are reloaded) So if you use team like example: Tanikaze-Kamikaze-Ayanami Tanikaze will release her torpedo first and last will be ayanami, despite ayanami has much better reload stats.
I think there might be an unadressed issue... Skills such as smokescreen DO NOT STACK so using 2 vanguard ships with smokescreen is useless as 1 is sufficient. In the fleet, both Leander and Belfast had smokescreen, so, you were basically wasting an entire vanguard ship skill.
Whilst yes, identical skills don't stack, in this case Belfast's smokescreen is actually a different skill to the standard version, with different activation timings, so Belfast + Leander actually gives better smoke coverage than normal. Further, reading the smokescreen skill information suggests that it's the effects of the screen that don't stack rather than the chance of activation. If this is correct, then duplicate ships with normal smokescreens isn't entirely a waste, as you do increase the odds at least one going off in each activation window (so it's more a case of diminishing returns than outright wasting a skill), but I can't confirm the mechanics do match the description.
@@chomusuke4645 I'm afraid I don't get what point you're trying to make here. I never said anything about how useful a smokescreen may or may not be, just that multiples in this case should, by the wording of the skill, buff the effective proc rate and provide some value to having multiple ships with the skill in the same fleet (though, as I also said, it's diminishing returns, as the second copy of the skill isn't doing as much as the first). Also Lv10 Smokescreen is 40% increased evasion (Belfast's is 35%, with a 35% decrease in airstrike damage), so a bit more than 5%
@@RailwayFalcon i find the most cumbersome part of Azur Lane minmaxing is to get familiar with the skills of each ship, as well as what the max level of those skills really do.
Very useful video as always 3c-sensei! I hope the lack of AC isn't affecting you too much. I just wanted to ask if you're gonna release the new event ships review before or after the update? Thanks a lot!
I see what you mean about the barrage skill. I've noticed my Zeppy miss half the screen when she fires (but I love it when Mutsu cleans up for me!). Thanks for the advice on the vanguard!
if a skill of a vanguard ship description says "if positioned in the leftmost position" is it from our perspective looking at the screen, or is it from the flag ship perspective?
That's what I run too...... Colorado and Maryland on the sides, Saratoga in the middle and on the other fleet Nelson and Rodney on the sides, with Ark Royal in the middle. The thing is, the Big 7 Barrage kind of covers the screen in shells, and if you have the two rear positions covered, they'll overlap anyway in the middle (unlike Warspite or Hood). I did think of adding a third one and seeing what happens (I have West Virginia who I use on commissions and such), but the level discrepancy is so huge now, I'm afraid she'll just get killed off (the original ones are around Lvl 98-99 and sh's like.. 14 or something).
if you follow this video you got most things settled, if you still struggle to beat a boss you should learn about optimizing gear and specific fleet compositions, which is all something he already has covered in other videos so go at it.
1. I guess I got this one right. Saw for myself that Nelson’s barrage does a wide spread attack that is most effective in the center, so I put her in the center 2. This is kind of second nature to me already. I always put a cruiser on the left and right side while I position a DD right in the middle of both Cruisers. DDs are (generally) the weakest type of ship in taking hits so they go in the center 3. Enhancing. I’m only doing this recently, so there’s this problem where Enty despite putting in 10 ships for enhancing, it doesn’t give any buffs. As for gear enhancing, I NEED MOAR PARTS (especially general parts)
Thank you so much! I had no idea about either the barrage thing or the idea that the leftmost vanguard takes the most damage. I assumed the center would be for the lead ship and didn't really think about it.
There are some other factors that need to be considered in fleet configuration. While I absolutely agree that a BB with a Barrage is most effective in the middle, generally you want the ship that needs the experience the most in the middle. Depending if they are able to do the most damage in a sortie, they can pull in double the XP to level quicker. In PvP, as best as possible you want the ship you can afford to lose first at flagship with a descending order to the last position (Enty's best spot). As with the swapping aspect for the vanguard point position, I treat flagship the same way on clearing fleets. But I find that the top position on vanguard is the one with the best survivability not the middle, with bottom (point) being the meat shield/dodge tank. And if anyone isn't using ship drops from grinding to boost the stats of ships....what ARE you doing with them? 🤔
I know this is a necro, but I wanted to answer on the off-chance that you're still looking for clarification on this. When a Vanguard skill specifies positioning, the "frontmost" is on the left side in the formation editor and the "rearmost" is the right side.
I got 1&2, but I was overthinking 3 and thought that was fleet synergy, having both Belfast and Leander in the same fleet not being optimal because they both use smokescreen which don't stack with each other. As for enhancing ships, always doing that, to the point where I'm max enhancing ships I've not even sortied yet. Bit harder to max out gear though, always low on main gun parts, but swimming in torpedo/aircraft parts, and I ONLY ever do the Firepower Escort Mission daily.
For the first mistake, I don't really notice this issue. Maybe they changed how barrages work? Cause when I put my battleships on the top and bottom the barrages still go in the center. With the 2nd one..yeah I kinda messed up there. The 3rd one is more of I can't get enough ships to enhance with. Thanks though.
For the first mistake, u said i only need to use one barrage in one fleet but I don't have other 5* waifu, is it worth it to put 4* waifu instead of 2 barrages 5* in a fleet?
On earlier maps yes, due to enemies have low accuracy, Yuki is actually more tanky than most ships. On later map (ch10+) i suggest putting her in middle or right.
Ok but I don't understand i'm just starting and when I change my team and go in a battle the team is not changing for some stupid reason and I really need an answer to fix this
Ya know, I honestly didn't know about the first two despite how long I've been playing the game, I guess that explains Nagato's barrage looking weird when she fired it off on the 10-2 boss, LOL, I'll have to be sure to remember all of this.
Oh damn, I put hood in the wrong spot too. I usually put my first fleet's BBs in the left and right spots so their secondaries can protect the carrier in the middle from suicide boats
My FP on Warspite retrofit is now 600 in total for great reason and Akagi and Kaga is over 500.... and believe me.... it can tore any ships apart even the most HP BBs... plus this combo is great to wipe out any Enterprise players.... as Type 1 and Super heavy shells will do a lot of damage on Enty while Akagi and Kaga will came afterwards and clean her up... bring San Diego with you if you want to protect the Enty... but it will only just reduce the damage slightly.... and you still cannot saved her as by the time Aircraft finish attacks... Warspite should be ready to fire a full salvo... And if Enty is survived by RNGs and Miracle... most Warspite Akagi Kaga combo will bring San Diego with them.... just incase if Enty survived....
Btw when it comes to enhancing ships does it matter what type of extra shipfu you use when enhancing or can you use any extra's? I enhanced Z23 (my starter) earlier and she gained stats in everything that could be raised from pretty much any fodder used.
that was a illuminating video. I always had problems with the vanguard. Still, in my fleet usually run in the KMS 2 destroyers (Z23 and Z1) + Prinz and in the IJN one 3 destroyers (Ayanami, Yuudachi, Yukikaze) in those orders. Should I switch something?
You can switch yuudachi with kawakaze/Jintsuu to make a more synergize fleet. If you want to use prinz, i recommend to use evasive gears for her like beaver badge, or the Hydraulic steering gear.
@@Eclin missing those two IJN... About Prinz, she's my top tank so dunno about evasion... Was waiting to get Roon to make a vanguard of Roon, Leiz and Prinz
Oh wow, I've been playing since Neptune Colab... I did know that the vanguar middle spot was a safe spot for ships like Leander, but I didn't "notice" the left spot taking more damage so to say haha. Cheers for this mate.
how do you that at 300 FP you get 5x multiplier? is there a place i can check all those infos? I wanna do some calculations on the dmg my shipgirls are doing :)
Is it possible that Rodney is a exception to the rule with their big seven barrage that covers the whole screen? Or should Rodney also be placed in the center?
@@Just3c Thanks ran some tests and you are right I don't think its as big a different as ships like Hood but there is still a difference there. Been running a hood and rodney team to farm exp for Monarch but I will stop now thank you.
ive have done most of these right, like having the barrages ship in the middle and other stuff, but that the left vanguard spot take most dmg, that i didnt know, and will be corrected from now on. thanks for that little tips XD
Say, is there a level that drops a lot or more Aviation type ships?, because i need them to enhance my carriers, my other ships are already maxed out, and its pretty hard to actually get a lot of aviation type ships
Do world 3-4 to get Akagi and Kaga, i don’t think there are other exclusive CV that can drop from the map other than that two. Most good CV came from build and event though.
Any ship is viable with the right care and gear. Make sure to keep Nelson in the middle for her super strong barrage. Also keep a CL/DD in the left most slot do they can take out suicide ships easily. Also this is personsl preference but I would only use one CA(in your case Atago/Prinz Eugen) in your fleet because 2 or more feels super sluggish
Vitor Diniz honestly, up to about CH 8 or so, any ship with good equips will do. CH 8 and beyond is where you'll start running into problems if certain aspects arent good enough. More experienced players may even extend this to CH 10, but CH 10 is as high as ive gotten... I'm still working on getting my main fleets fully kitted out and leveled.
Just replace pow with other BB if you using that setup, the increase in stat with just 2 eagle not really worth it. And if you want to use CA make sure equip them with +eva aux
3c i have a question, does placing unique barrage ship (like Big Seven, Warspite, Kizuna Gamer's) at the side viable ? since they can support the barrage ship dealing dmg to other mob ship.
Warspite's barrage is targeted, so she can be on the sides no problem. Big Seven is always middle. I have no idea what Kizuna's even looks like, the only time I see her is in PvP and she dies before she barrages.
Can someone explain why my fleet is so slow? The front has Kashino, Kumano and Swiftsure and they are pretty high leveled and do good dmg, but theyre just so slow that they always die
PVP tips: Juneau is a must, always put her in the left side of vanguard fleet. + Eldridge for maximum cancer in PVP. Best counter for IJN nakaga fleet, i hate that fleet obliterates almost any fleet. Good game!
Another tip: use Illustrious if you use Eldridge. Her barrier skill still triggers Eldridge's skill even when taking hits. In fact, when the barrier is active, your vanguard will be guaranteed to take hits with no miss at 0 damage.
PVP tip (from former top 50) >If you got Nakaga. Akagi should wearing the highest suicidal damage planes (F4U cosair or the golden hell cat, golden BDT destroyer and golden barracuda). then Kaga should wear the (any planes fighter with heavy bombs. hell diver and barracuda). the reason for this is that you can damage the backline of the fleet much harder and possibly sank them right away. >Belfast is your loyal maid. she's the best light cruiser for pvp. thicc and her smokescreen makes your vanguard alive for another rounds >If you got Yukikaze (the great nanoda). consider yourself lucky. this is the only DD i can recommend in the era of the loli hunter, Aurora. Yukikaze can tank big dmages even from enterprise and she's fast as af. equip her with broilers so that she will be the on holding the line if your nakaga's vanguard fall. >Namahiryuu counter using nakaga (if it is not oathed...or only the backline and not the vanguard) >Main changes: Akagi (should be using BDT destroyer) Nagato: 450mm gun,+10 ..this is for wrecking hiryuu after she go blue >Vanguard changes: Sirius (get her tanky. bring her at the front, you will know why). Jesus chan(up) Yukikaze (middle) . be sure yuki got the broiler and the beaver thingy. the success rate of this depends how tough your vanguard is to hold the other's vanguard. our goal here is to waste jesus chan's enemy and hiryuu blue skill.. but if the enemy got jintsuu. do not fight..let's wait for better counter (HMS with retrofitted warspite) >if you want an effective nakaga until top 50 >main: Nakaga (oath just makes them tougher..but strenght..ehh). Nagato (410mm is the best for her) >vanguard: Aurora (do not remove her unless its namahiryu..you need sirius) , Yukikaze (do not remove her) , Belfast (can be change for jesus chan or jintsuu) >Lastly, enjoy the pvp. defensive team doesn't have any contribution xD (although they might be needed for top 50-10). just aim the highest rank target to get high points Edit: not 410mm. It should be 406mm
Good guide as always.BTW, curious on your criteria for ships from good, usable, and collectible like what you do on event videos. Any special thought process on that?
Good should be able to go up to W12 of this game at red danger lvl Usable will get you there with a bit of struggle, inefficiently, or carried by others Collectible will do anything W9 below and maybe W10-W11 with level advantage or safe danger level (and still with struggle)
pausing at 0:35 ehh, Hood should be in the center to make the best use of her barrage ability. Leander(?) isn't very tanky and is mostly there for FP bonus, needs to be in the middle protected position on the Vanguard. Belfast being a higher level means she's got more HP to tank with and should be out in front not in the back. Low vanguard fleetpower suggests low quality equipment (Mine's at 12231 with Bel/Edin/Sirius) That's 4. Let's see how I did.
@@manhphuc4335 yeah that's where I had trouble before in a event where I think hood as my flag was dying first switched to POW and was fine but monarch is at 92, 4 stars gold triple 16 ap at 8 so I'm almost set for the next event
There are methods to mitigate hood's squishy problem (which i always do) >I always equip her with toolkit because i kinda need her to be more tough and hp regen. especially if i don't want to run with akashi >Bring repair ships (note:on world 9 and 10..hood will have a problem regarding her being squishy..but i usually put toolkit and fire extinguisher and akashi. and avoiding the red ships)
My favorite setup is having both Lexington and Saratoga at the top and bottom with Artillery Cover upgraded. That way they can spam shots from the back plus my battleship in the middle.
I run: 1.Takao - Tank / Burst Dmg (AP/HP) 2. Javelin(R) - Eva Boost / DPS (HP/AP) 3. Helena - Debuff / DPS (FULL HP) 1. Enterprise 2. Erebus 3. Tennessee This team costs 60+ oil but it sees me through alot of content solo while i play around with other units and team compositions.
I run Tirpiz, Akashi, Deutchland, Karlsruhe(R) and Leipzig for mobs (54 oil) and Nagato, Amagi, Yuudachi and Ayanami(R) (49 oil) for bosses. Farming Jintsuu in 10-4 with this.. And mob fleet is so huge cos I'm also farming exp for Roon, but honestly Phoenix would be enough solo for mob fleet.
Friedrich der Grosse hasn't hit global server yet but i'm still very curious about her barrage, some say she need to be in flagship to maximize her dmg output but some say she can be placed at the side and still do the same amount of damage, which is true? I can't find any footage about this one :(
He has a video on PR farming strategy that answers your question. For the cheapest option you can run Koln/Kalrsruhe/Konigsberg/Leipzig in any combination. If you want a bit more power you can use Graf Spee or Deutschland as well.
I'm using Deutschland, Adm. Graf Spee and Leipzig for the vanguard and Graf Zeppelin, Bismarck and alt between Tirpitz and Zeppy (yeah the loli zeppelin) depending on the mission. Right now can do auto Ch 10 without problems and all are about lvl 90 .
@@iriakiw0w That works perfectly well, it's just a little expensive to farm with, but since you seem to still be fairly low level, farming really isn't the priority yet.
@@Orthus100 That's right, i'm leveling up my Ironblood fleet and farming Roon at the same time, just need the last 1.7m xp. I must admit that i had my concerns with oil for this fleet too but they get so many Synergies and buffs they just become Death goddesses and make the leveling so easy. And oil isn't really a problem if you're a filthy casual like me :)
3c! I have Tirpitz and Bismarck.Which ship should I use to be my flagship(or middle back line).? Tirpitz for torpedo or Bismarck for a not very strong barrage.
All back line torp barrage can be place on the side as they auto adjust and are mostly auto target enemy, meanwhile Bismark has flagship only skills that would improve her dps greatly. So Bismark flag, tirprizt top or bottom.
At 0:47 you say that Hood should be placed in the middle because of her being a battleship with barrage skill. This is true, but another thing I would add to why she certainly should be in the middle is because she has the highest health pool in the game.
Been swaping mob fleet vanguard place during battle like crazy lately due to higher lvl enemy. My vanguard mutsuki/kisaragi/uzuki are lvl75, while battling in 8-4 🤣. Good thing I got vestal/Uni/hood in the back, even put pearls tear for mutsuki just in case.

@@RailwayFalcon Bruh it's 5 percent evasion, totally gonna make a big difference
Also Lv10 Smokescreen is 40% increased evasion (Belfast's is 35%, with a 35% decrease in airstrike damage), so a bit more than 5%
@@RailwayFalcon It's not even evasion, it's evasion rate. That is even better.
@@RailwayFalcon i find the most cumbersome part of Azur Lane minmaxing is to get familiar with the skills of each ship, as well as what the max level of those skills really do.
Level 92 here only putting favourite ship without thinking the composition. I guess I'm a bad commander
I have 3 Carriers, you're still a better commander than me.
hahha, i put 3 barrage. gotta do EXPLOSION!!!!!!
the moment you saw your Neptune farming fleet formation is exactly like the layout with mistakes
Very useful video as always 3c-sensei! I hope the lack of AC isn't affecting you too much.
I just wanted to ask if you're gonna release the new event ships review before or after the update?
Thanks a lot!
i will try..
Just3c i enjoy your videos and everything you do, i hope the move is going great so far! don’t push yourself 🥰
I see what you mean about the barrage skill. I've noticed my Zeppy miss half the screen when she fires (but I love it when Mutsu cleans up for me!).
Thanks for the advice on the vanguard!
Correct me if im wrong, but in the first fleet composition QE's skill wont proc if she's not the flagship right?
i wonder about that to. it kind of useless to brought her in other places
Where do you find the chibi art for the ships? I noticed you have some non standard poses/faces.
he extracts them directly from the game files
@@krixtorei I'd like to see a video on that I've used various apk depackers and models for the ships have always been hidden away.

if a skill of a vanguard ship description says "if positioned in the leftmost position"
is it from our perspective looking at the screen, or is it from the flag ship perspective?
"Only run 1 barrage type battleship in the fleet"
Me : put big seven on sides *thinking
you need to run 3 big sevens for the 777 jackpot
@@rovvy221 Damn, I'm just hoping I'll get the 3rd monitor for cheap jackpot like that..
Big seven go brrr
@@shitbox7853 Infinite Darkness: Am I a Joke to you?
I put shinano in middle because of her barrage but hood is next to her, should i switch or keep postition
Great video! I honestly didn't know that the weakest Vanguard spot is on the left. So thanks for that!
if you follow this video you got most things settled, if you still struggle to beat a boss you should learn about optimizing gear and specific fleet compositions, which is all something he already has covered in other videos so go at it.
1. I guess I got this one right. Saw for myself that Nelson’s barrage does a wide spread attack that is most effective in the center, so I put her in the center
2. This is kind of second nature to me already. I always put a cruiser on the left and right side while I position a DD right in the middle of both Cruisers. DDs are (generally) the weakest type of ship in taking hits so they go in the center
3. Enhancing. I’m only doing this recently, so there’s this problem where Enty despite putting in 10 ships for enhancing, it doesn’t give any buffs. As for gear enhancing, I NEED MOAR PARTS (especially general parts)
What about the viability of assembling a nation fleet (Eagle / Sakura / Royal...) ?
Thank you so much! I had no idea about either the barrage thing or the idea that the leftmost vanguard takes the most damage. I assumed the center would be for the lead ship and didn't really think about it.
0:58 Huh I just added my Bismarck to Mid because she looked cool (well that and because of her skills)
Having a voiceover on your videos like this is nice! Good info in this video too.
noob question! so bremerton to be able to proc her defense skill must be on the left spot? or where is the frontmost?
Do you have tips for advance formations like 1 in the back and 2 on the vanguard?
Wow thx learned so much! Usually I put the weakest one at the part where it eats all of the attacks but no I was supposed to put it somewhere else!
Ey man who is the best? Double 410 mm? Or triple 306 mm?
What about the monitors??? I have both Terror and Erebus in my Fleet, they have good barrages, but they have low health... Any suggestion???
about vanguard positioning, is it okay to put yukikaze in the left side? since she had a defence skill but she was a destroyer tho
On earlier maps yes, due to enemies have low accuracy, Yuki is actually more tanky than most ships. On later map (ch10+) i suggest putting her in middle or right.
ahh i c, so thats why everyone said ch10+ was a hell. ty for ur tips
Isn't queen supposed to be in flagship position to activate her skill?
Wow, this will help me a lot, been playing for 5 days now and this tips are what I'm looking for. Ty.

What color is a barrage skill?
I’ve been playing the game for about a year and this video actually helped me, thank you very much.
i learned this the hard way, thanks for teaching the newbies boi
Oh damn, I put hood in the wrong spot too. I usually put my first fleet's BBs in the left and right spots so their secondaries can protect the carrier in the middle from suicide boats
So I have two with barrages should I put my lower level hood or my higher level king george
Very nice guide! Thanks a lot =)
Is nagato and Amagi fleet good?
How did you get Code G Enterprise sprite????

Is it possible that Rodney is a exception to the rule with their big seven barrage that covers the whole screen? Or should Rodney also be placed in the center?
you can but the big 7 will still miss about half of the shots, better to have her in the middle.
@@Just3c Thanks ran some tests and you are right I don't think its as big a different as ships like Hood but there is still a difference there. Been running a hood and rodney team to farm exp for Monarch but I will stop now thank you.
another common mistake, buy purple boxes and upgrade on ineffective equips.
You shouldn't buy boxes, period. You need to save that money to craft and upgrade gear that's really worth it, namely from research.
I can't bring myself to switch out my oathed ships
ive have done most of these right, like having the barrages ship in the middle and other stuff, but that the left vanguard spot take most dmg, that i didnt know, and will be corrected from now on. thanks for that little tips XD
The information on positioning was useful, thank you.
I rarely use full fleet compo, its always
1 (F) BB , 1 CV(L) or 2 CV(L)s for Main and 2DDs or 1 CL and 1 CA for Vanguard.
If i remember bracketing type barrage don't care about position or i wrong?
Never knew something like that, wanna see more helpfully videos!
At some point, not using at least one support/healing ship is also not good in the late game.
Thanks for the guide.
First voiced video for me, good move. Thx for the great tips m8. 👍
@@Eclin that's not what i meant, i was searching for ships to enhance my akagi and kaga, so automatically i need a lot of common aviation ships

Prince of wales,Enterprise,Nelson
Atago,laffey/belfast,Prinz Eugen
Is that fleet good enough in the start?(i'm lvl 40)

@@imapopo2924 okay, then i'll need to get higher rank gear xd
@@Orthus100 big seven can use side too since the barrage is big and it's decent, Kizuna is like shoot AP and throw torpedo everywhere

PVP tips: Juneau is a must, always put her in the left side of vanguard fleet. + Eldridge for maximum cancer in PVP. Best counter for IJN nakaga fleet, i hate that fleet obliterates almost any fleet. Good game!
Belfast makes Nakaga a joke.
Another tip: use Illustrious if you use Eldridge. Her barrier skill still triggers Eldridge's skill even when taking hits.
In fact, when the barrier is active, your vanguard will be guaranteed to take hits with no miss at 0 damage.
PVP tip (from former top 50)
>If you got Nakaga.
>Belfast is your loyal maid. she's the best light cruiser for pvp. thicc and her smokescreen makes your vanguard alive for another rounds
>If you got Yukikaze (the great nanoda). consider yourself lucky. this is the only DD i can recommend in the era of the loli hunter, Aurora. Yukikaze can tank big dmages even from enterprise and she's fast as af. equip her with broilers so that she will be the on holding the line if your nakaga's vanguard fall.
>Namahiryuu counter using nakaga (if it is not oathed...or only the backline and not the vanguard)
>Main changes: Akagi (should be using BDT destroyer) Nagato: 450mm gun,+10 ..this is for wrecking hiryuu after she go blue
>Vanguard changes: Sirius (get her tanky. bring her at the front, you will know why). Jesus chan(up) Yukikaze (middle) . be sure yuki got the broiler and the beaver thingy.
the success rate of this depends how tough your vanguard is to hold the other's vanguard. our goal here is to waste jesus chan's enemy and hiryuu blue skill.. but if the enemy got jintsuu. do not fight..let's wait for better counter (HMS with retrofitted warspite)
>if you want an effective nakaga until top 50
>main: Nakaga (oath just makes them tougher..but strenght..ehh). Nagato (410mm is the best for her)
>vanguard: Aurora (do not remove her unless its namahiryu..you need sirius) , Yukikaze (do not remove her) , Belfast (can be change for jesus chan or jintsuu)
>Lastly, enjoy the pvp. defensive team doesn't have any contribution xD (although they might be needed for top 50-10). just aim the highest rank target to get high points
Edit: not 410mm. It should be 406mm
eldrigde stop being cancer since nagato, and aurora. she can't even stand 20 seconds anymore.
I sometimes put a weak ship at the left spot in hard maps to let it sink to save oil, eg going from 1:2 to 1:1.
Good guide as always.BTW, curious on your criteria for ships from good, usable, and collectible like what you do on event videos. Any special thought process on that?
Good should be able to go up to W12 of this game at red danger lvl
Usable will get you there with a bit of struggle, inefficiently, or carried by others
Collectible will do anything W9 below and maybe W10-W11 with level advantage or safe danger level (and still with struggle)
pausing at 0:35
ehh, Hood should be in the center to make the best use of her barrage ability. Leander(?) isn't very tanky and is mostly there for FP bonus, needs to be in the middle protected position on the Vanguard. Belfast being a higher level means she's got more HP to tank with and should be out in front not in the back. Low vanguard fleetpower suggests low quality equipment (Mine's at 12231 with Bel/Edin/Sirius)
That's 4. Let's see how I did.
Ok my no.2-3 where combined, other than that, proud of myself for getting the basics right.
Question is hood not at risk as the flagship since she has medium armour not heavy
rnukes well you are most afraid of burn damage in backline, so hood in mid doesn’t matter much in campaign, in events on the other hand...
@@manhphuc4335 yeah that's where I had trouble before in a event where I think hood as my flag was dying first switched to POW and was fine but monarch is at 92, 4 stars gold triple 16 ap at 8 so I'm almost set for the next event
There are methods to mitigate hood's squishy problem (which i always do)
>I always equip her with toolkit because i kinda need her to be more tough and hp regen. especially if i don't want to run with akashi
>Bring repair ships
(note:on world 9 and 10..hood will have a problem regarding her being squishy..but i usually put toolkit and fire extinguisher and akashi. and avoiding the red ships)
I normally save my battlecruisers for low oil runs like Hood, Amagi or Scharnhorst
My favorite setup is having both Lexington and Saratoga at the top and bottom with Artillery Cover upgraded. That way they can spam shots from the back plus my battleship in the middle.
I run:
1.Takao - Tank / Burst Dmg (AP/HP)
2. Javelin(R) - Eva Boost / DPS (HP/AP)
3. Helena - Debuff / DPS (FULL HP)
1. Enterprise
2. Erebus
3. Tennessee
This team costs 60+ oil but it sees me through alot of content solo while i play around with other units and team compositions.
I can't find any footage about this one :(
FDG's barrage works a bit different from normal barrages. You can place her at the side and it will only lose a little bit of dmg.
What is your farming team for Roon? With how it's required to have light and heavy cruisers it's somewhat limited.
What about a full Neko fleet nyaa?
3c! I have Tirpitz and Bismarck.Which ship should I use to be my flagship(or middle back line).?
Tirpitz for torpedo or Bismarck for a not very strong barrage.
Use Bismarck, the barrage damage is still higher than the torpedoes. You only will swap Bismarck from the flagship spot when FdG arrives
All back line torp barrage can be place on the side as they auto adjust and are mostly auto target enemy, meanwhile Bismark has flagship only skills that would improve her dps greatly. So Bismark flag, tirprizt top or bottom.

On mistake #1 I dident notice this because I had hood in the middle because she had the most hp to be a flagship
At 0:47 you say that Hood should be placed in the middle because of her being a battleship with barrage skill. This is true, but another thing I would add to why she certainly should be in the middle is because she has the highest health pool in the game.
