Absolutely love this. By far the most intricate/complex tutorial I've attempted to follow. I'm 58 years old and play minecraft with my 8 year old grandaughter through the internet. Being a typical 8 year old girl, she loves the pink wood of the cherry blossom trees so I can't wait to finish this and see how she reacts to seeing it at my village.
Great build and tutorial, a few key notes that I would say to help survival players, you may want to get extra spruce planks because he didnt list them, i think he listed them as slabs maybe. Also feedback for the creator, id suggest putting the list of blocks you would need for each section, it was a bit annoying running from my chest and back to look for each block you say but besides that it was very easy and simple to follow.
it also would have been nice if the creator said which direction was the front at the foundation stage, kinda annoying having to rebuild, especially on ipad due to the terrible touch controls
I felt the running back and forth to my chest. Bro I’ve fallen off of this build so many times 😂 but another tip for survival players (especially on console) would be to stock up on a ton of dirt and craft around 5 stacks of scaffolding for easy access to different parts of the build.

Just finished building this in survival! Tip for anyone else deciding to take this on: scaffolding will be your best friend! I would also have extra planks of each wood type on hand because I did run out of each at some point.
Currently in the process of building this as our first home, found a wonderful seed and the build is coming along great - I plan to take a crack at making the interior myself since its such a large temple it can fit everything with plenty of room. Great build and a fun challenge for survival/ beginning of the world. Would love to see some staircase ideas with cherry involved in the future!
Im glad you like this and yes I left the interior empty so people could fill it with whatever they want… apparently that isn’t enough so I will most likely do a interior design as well lol
I would absolutely LOVE a custom cherry blossom tree! Also, I watched this video 5 times and memorized building the whole structure because I love it that much!
Thank you for the tutorial. It turned out great when I made it. Your explanations are very easy to follow. I do have one critique. I built this in survival, so it was really aggravating moving back to the same area after leaving. I think you could organize it based on proximity more. A tip for survival people on the windows: go inside, do all the windows first, then go back and do the shutters. Saved me a lot of time. Thanks again, lovely build.
@@MrMattRanger for my needs you did great. I just packed several stacks of scaffolding and left them up to mimic your movement. It worked pretty well. I used polished deorite instead and It looks pretty similar. you could also use quarts
This is beautiful!! Yes, I’d love a tutorial for a custom Japanese cherry blossom tree 🌸
Already done just check out the channel
Ciao surryyy
Just finished building this in survival! Tip for anyone else deciding to take this on: scaffolding will be your best friend! I would also have extra planks of each wood type on hand because I did run out of each at some point.
surry was here
Broo I love this man my mrs always loved japanese themes stuff and just got her into playing minecraft and I just done making it and she loved itt
Surry?
Currently in the process of building this as our first home, found a wonderful seed and the build is coming along great - I plan to take a crack at making the interior myself since its such a large temple it can fit everything with plenty of room. Great build and a fun challenge for survival/ beginning of the world. Would love to see some staircase ideas with cherry involved in the future!
Im glad you like this and yes I left the interior empty so people could fill it with whatever they want… apparently that isn’t enough so I will most likely do a interior design as well lol
@@MrMattRanger please do, i built the house and i think it's amazing but now i just have no idea how to build interior design...
I love the building so much! It took me around 3 hours to finish it! I tought it would take way longer! Really like it! 👍
Awesome! Thank you!
I built this in survival and it looks great in my friend's SMP. Thanks a lot :D
You are very welcome

I would absolutely LOVE a custom cherry blossom tree! Also, I watched this video 5 times and memorized building the whole structure because I love it that much!
The Tree Tutorial is done I hope it helps!
Thank you for such an intrincated tutorial. My biome looks so pretty now
This was such a great tutorial. You even reminded me I was in survival so I had to put torches down LOL
Thank you for the feedback! Everyone builds differently so it’s hard to know exactly what to do.
@@MrMattRanger for my needs you did great. I just packed several stacks of scaffolding and left them up to mimic your movement. It worked pretty well. As with other people, if you could give some interior ideas I would really appreciate it. I’m a not creative. I thought I could maybe section off the inside into different floor levels but that’s as far as I’ve gotten. It’s a barren wasteland in there 😂
@@dylanpsimer4583 I am working on making a interior tutorial too.
@@MrMattRanger That's great to hear. I'll be looking forward to it. Thanks for the content!
I'm totally going to come back to this vid once i got the resources. I'm currently planning on making an east asian inspired village. It's gonna be WILD doing this in survival so pray for me y'all 💀🙏🏾
Dug into the side of a snowy mountain to build this in survival :) I topped it with a huge cherry tree and it's incredible to see in the distance! Thank you for the video
That sounds magical
It took me 15 days in Minecraft to gather stuff and complete the exterior but it's looking very beautiful thank you for this awesome build.
I’m glad you liked it! ❤️
nice build, took me some time in survival, and i was really mad while building the roof. But the work paid off, thx so much for this build so I can have really nice building at my server :)
It’s a Challenge but definitely worth it!

All my friends were making mantions except me, who didn't even have a base, but now, with this video, imma prove them wrong!!! Lol
The variety of wood types really accentuate the new pink wood! The cherry blossom tree also adds a heroic feel to the architecture as well 😊Great job!
