Fantastic theme park. As a LA native this is my personal favorite park in the whole region, and a park so good that I want it to improve so much. This is a park with an incredible history and atmosphere, and one always moving forward.
Defenitley a super busy park though. This park I want to improve because it’s good, magic mountain I want to improve because it could be incredible, but now it’s worse than the ride lineup. If you're going with a friend, split the food pass. Every 90 minutes = a new meal or snack, and every 15 minutes is a drink for the upgraded one. The food is pretty decent too. My favorites are the turkey leg from fireman's BBQ near Ghostrider, brisket from Boardwalk BBQ across from Xcelerator, also the loaded fries in Fiesta Village
Really great video and love the opening drone montage. Knotts is special and it’s my home park, although I will say my last experience at the park was like yours. My last visit was a couple years ago and I had the feeling that the operations are intentionally kept slow in order to make it almost mandatory to buy Fast Lane. The existence of Fast Lane creates a scenario in which the park actually does better when the experience gets worse. Unless people stop going to the park it won’t change.
This park is on my list of parks in CA that I have LONG wanted to visit and this vlog only increased my hope to get there someday. Thanks for the great vlog! =)
I was just in CA but unfortunately didn’t get to Knott’s, I had to choose Knott’s or Magic Mountain and Tatsu was something I’d been wanting to ride for years

Knott's Might Genuinely be my one of my favorite theme parks ever. The theming in Ghost town and Fiesta village is really quite amazing. Even though I haven't ridden Xcellerator (It ran twice the whole day😭), I am definitely going to head back to Knott's to ride it, and see the new Camp Snoopy. Maybe next year I will try to get to Montezooma and Possibly Epic Universe.
Wow! I have never seen silver bullet more than a 30 minute wait. I go to knotts maybe 5 times a year. That’s crazy that it was as long as most days for ghost rider
Word is that the delay with Montezooma’s Revenge is due to the contractor removing the loop by mistake. I grew up a mile from the park so it’s nice to see the park is doing so well. The crowds have significantly increased over the past 2-3 years. This is mostly due to locals letting their Disneyland passes lapse and purchasing passes for Knotts as Disney keeps raising the cost of their passes. Definitely come out for the Halloween Haunt if you’re able to.
I was just there this past Saturday. Waited 2 hours for GhostRider. Was on 1 train which sucked. We'll worth it. Such an awesome ride. Also rode Hangtime, Silver Bullet, Xcelerator, Sierra Sidewinder, Calico River Rapids, Coast Rider & Timber Mountain Log Ride.

Park needs 5 more coasters, one of which a parking lot giga. Having montezooma down this long is nuts. Fix it or replace it with a next gen boomerang w a dual load station
All the parks in SoCal legit require the premium fast pass - Knott's, Magic Mountain and even Sea World San Diego. The quality of the dispatches and running on one train ops is inexcusable during the summer, and I bet that with the recent Six Flags merger, the prices for everything will likely go up as well - without any improvement to service.
