Mob psycho is up there with the very best of anime, it has great character development, animation, story amongst other things. It's an underrated gem like many anime out there.
I agreed. To be honest, at 1st i stop watching at ep3. And then i found a top 10 fights in anime where theres a scene where mob fighting. Then i go back to the anime and i didnt regretted it.
The reason all the characters look like saitama is because the original manga creator is the same - ONE is his name, and to put it shortly .. he's not the most skilled artist. And while the original one punch man webcomic got redrawn by another person to look a lot more professional, thus diversifying how the characters look, leaving the original style only to saitama and his expressions - for mob psycho 100, that 'redraw' part never happened, and instead, the art style of the anime is puled directly from ONE's art style, which is very simplistic. So yeah, that's why it seems like they all look like Saitama - that's just ONE's art style :) which I think fits this story a lot actually, because this anime is a love letter to humanity and growing up basically - so not 'polishing up' the art does a lot for marrying the grounded themes of the show with the visuals, I feel. Also, yes, the production team did change up a bit from season 1 and 2 to season 3! I agree that it looks a lot cleaner. Not sure if I can say it's better that way - season 1 and 2 still has _incredible_ animation and a lot of charm, and I personally prefer the rougher look of it - but I totally get where you're coming from as well. So yeah, rant aside - this is one of my favorite shows, hands down. It's so simple on the surface, yet that just allows them to dive deeper with the characters, particularly the main one, as the story goes on .. and it's just a very tightly woven narrative in general. The third op is the best op I've ever seen. All the lyrics, the visuals, the production, the music composition From EVERYTHING I saw... There's nothing on that level
10:14 It's the same studio, the animation was the same quality, it's just that they really focused to slower scenes and compositing lol (also the fact that the storyline was reaching its height and heaviness). I say there's not a drastic change in the animation bc the seasons were all released relatively close to each other 2016-2019-2021. Every bit of this anime was made with LOVE AND PASSION by the same people, even the music - the staff makes up the band and thus the name. And you can feel that when you watch it. It's incomparable to most shounen passed studio by studio depending on who has a free slot in production. It's truly an artists' magnus opus.

@@TBDLXBACON I know, and yes he is. A character based off of him. The way they fight, how the VA of Goku and the character on Mob are both female. The way they dress. Even the makers of the show confirms this so why you trying to lie about it?
I love how because all of the openings are so good so many people have a different favorite. for me the season 1 op is the only one I didn't really mess with that much

Season 1 op is my favorite op. It’s on par with dbz for me. The other seasons didn’t hit me but season 1…. Yeah the best
