Gintama is crazy good. Premise is weird, characters get introduced slowly but then become super familiar, then the serious arcs and fights just blow you away. Definitely recommend

Here's an explanation (heavy spoilers)! 3:03 yes his ability is turning into a white tiger 3:16 both are boys and have mentor student relationship (Atsushi/white hair, Dazai/brown hair) Have some deep relationship cuz they "saved" eo. Giving off brothers vibe tho. 4:45 this op mv is abt past and it's abt Dazai when he was still a mafia. 8:40 the blood tears shows how desperate Akutagawa (the black hair guy) wanted to be acknowledged by Dazai. Dazai and Atsushi are mentor-student or senior-junior when Dazai in detective agency. But Akutagawa used to be Dazai's student/junior when Dazai was in mafia. So he really got bad treatment by him (since it's mafia way anyway). So when Dazai "became a better person" and leave mafia to join agency (Akutagawa till now still in mafia alone), he felt happy when Dazai praised him (in one of the S2 episode). At first, it shows how Akutagawa really envies Atsushi cuz he felt like he had been forgotten by Dazai. 16:49 true! Lucklife always deliver bops and the songs are really made to match the story and some of the songs are inspired by the character Like S3 ED are inspired by Chuuya (the short guy in mafia w/ a hat) 17:41 exactly my reaction with S5 OP! 😭 they went so hard w/ this one. Agree cuz that arc literally the climax in bsd arc. Everything that has happened in previous arcs, led us to the main war (to fight directly w/ the mastermind. The guy in pink color palette in 17:48)

Oh we finally got to season 3. The anime quality of this season is like all over the place, but I can guarantee the plot of later part this season will blow your mind. One of my favorite arc in the serious. Look forward to your reaction!

The reason it was freezing is because Ram and Roswaal's fight happened during her trial, she comes out when it's finished! Roswaal was finishing the spell for the snow which brings the rabbits and is something written in his book, he's trying to make this loop match what was written. Echidna already said Emilia's mindset will make the other trials easy btw. Don't worry about it.

Btw some clearing up possible confusion about Roswaal and Ram!!! In the fight he says things which could look like a reveal that he had some bigger involvement in Ram and Rem's backstory, but this is partly a subs thing I think. At least it's clear in the novels, Roswaal is talking like a villain about his actions because he's framing it like "I knew just when to save you as your village was destroyed, took you in as my pawn and you've had to follow me ever since". Basically implying because he never saved anyone else with his book which shows things about the future Ram thinks he has their blood on his hands. There's another aspect which is much clearer in the novels about contracts in re zero. Echidna suggests one to Subaru which he obviously rejects and Beatrice is in one with Echidna, but Roswaal's flowery language makes it confusing with him and Ram. But Ram's been in a contract with him since childhood, as has Rem, and Ram's contract was that she helped him reach his goal with the book guiding him, killing the dragon and royal selection stuff included, while he helped her seek revenge for her village. After her village was slaughtered her and Rem hunted down the cultists responsible with his help(this also affects Rem's torture of Subaru, by then she'd been fucked up by torturing some of the ACTUAL cultists who continued targeting them as kids to try to eradicate the oni) and she can't disobey him unless the contract is broken. So Roswaal figured out that her choosing to fight him means she thinks his goal is no longer possible. The book's predictions of the future being proven wrong is what they're trying to make happen, and the one for Subaru to pass the trials was what seemingly failed so now Roswaal's decided it doesn't matter since Subaru will fail and the world will be reset to prove the book right next loop, Ram thinks that helping Subaru is actually helping Roswaal and his book is now useless at predicting anything. Sorry this was long, but Roswaal figured out that Ram is able to go against the contract somehow and has concluded that she's here to kill him for letting the rest of the oni and her family etc die instead of not just appearing when the book said and trying to stop that massacre. He never directly kills any of them but holds himself responsible for letting them die. This is important context for the next episodes.

You probably already finished the show and know but the reason the same song plays twice is because theres 3 arcs in season 2 instead of 2 arc so they just changed the visuals for the 3rd arc

Clarification: yes, they go back and forth with the whole 'is Mother Fortuna Emilia's actual mother?' Alot of watchers get confused with that. Though Mother Fortuna is 'not' Emilia's actual mother. Emilia just see's her as her mother figure as well as Fortuna seeing Emilia as her daughter. You get confirmation by Fortuna saying, "She's the beloved daughter of my brother, his wife, and myself."

Season 3 will have 38 episodes total and adapt Arc 5 and Arc 6. Cour 1 that's currently airing is from October to November with only 8 episodes as the 'Attack Arc', then the remaining 8 episodes will be the 'Counter Attack Arc', so Arc 5 will be 16 episodes in total. The Counter Attack Arc will air in February 2025, then the remaining 22 episodes would come as Season 3 Part 2 and adapt Arc 6, it'll come after a break after Arc 5's conclusion and it'd probably be in separate cours just like Arc 5. So you actually have a lot of time to watch the show since we're on Episode 7 of Season 3, and only have one episode left until we gotta wait for February for the continuation. Sorry if I made it sound really confusing, I'm crap at explaining things, lol. I love the reactions tho, been watching since episode 1, keep up the great work🔥 Edit: Oh, and the first EP of season 3 is an 1hr and 30min with peak animation, Re:Zero is too spectacular fr 🔥😭
