I don't know if she was nervous due to the criticism she was receiving, or just because she took an extended break or what, but I've always thought Mariah had a nice voice (even on her bad days). She has such an original tone. Plus it just makes me happy when she's actually happy to be singing. I've seen clips where she's just randomly singing, and it's apparent that it brings joy to her life. Why some people would try to trample on that due to them disliking what she sounds like is beyond me. Why not just move on to another singers that you actually enjoy rather than following one that you dislike?
