Yanmar vs Perkins Diesel Generator Engines

Yanmar has a pretty incredible reputation

I’d go with Yanmar….or Kubota….Perkins has no local track record in smaller engines ….Lombardini made in Italy has been reliable for me.

Definitely the yanmar the yanmar engine is more reliable our neighbor had a Perkins in his bobcat skid loader
and he always had trouble with it

Does the engine oil lubricated fuel injection pump allow you to run on lower grade fuels ie kerosene ?
