Hannah! Do they crease or settle into fine lines? Let me think. Yes and no. He did really well around the nose but I did have some creasing under the eyes. Powder helped. But do I see it as revolutionary in that sense? No.

The corrector can be found at Ulta and on the Natasha Denona website. So far, and I need to look again, it looks like Sephora might only have the concealer unless they threw the shades of corrector in with them. But I doubt that.
Hey Hey Posh. Looking super glam there in the opening of the video. I could definitely see a difference between those correctors (my special powers you know!!) The one placed on the eye and underneath it was definitely more grey when the one on your cheeks was warmer and had a better coverage/colour correcting I felt. Jan! I can completely understand you wanting to try it in store. It’s funny because having 50 shades, or 56 if you include the correctors , makes it seem even more confusing but, in reality, that many shades, the differences are so subtle that you almost can’t make a mistake.

Dang, I had zero intention of even wanting to try this! I didn’t know she had 50 shades AND correctors!!! Now I’m interested!! So, did I hear you correctly that you apply corrector first, then foundation, and lastly concealer?? I apply foundation first since as you mentioned, it does provide a little bit of correction, then corrector and concealer. I’ve always worried about the corrector being covered up by the foundation defeating the purpose possibly, but if you’ve applied those products in that order, it must work. I too have dark pits of despair aka dark circles too, and I need both to give me the look I prefer. So would you say this combo (correction/concealer) was hydrating? I thought the hy-gen would be hydrating or illuminating and I don’t remember you mentioning during the video, but I could have missed it. So, I don’t think I’ve tried the Tarte corrector but I have the CT, Bobbi Brown, and Fenty correctors with all the different concealers I use. Where does this compare? You look stunning today! So much to say. So much to say. OK and let me know if I forget to answer one of the questions because they’re all of equal importance in my head. First of all, yes, this is very hydrating and because of the hydration it has some luminosity but it’s not sparkly. I have never had any success with color correctors except for the tarte . So the ones that you’ve mentioned do nothing for me and this, in my estimation, is much better. I think this product is second only to Tarte when used as a combination of corrector and concealer. Because the concealer has so many shades, it’s very easy to get the right shade to cover up any of that apricot look. Generally, a lot of makeup artist, but not all makeup artists, will do the corrector under the foundation just because sometimes it’s so hard to get that orange color out. And they figure once the pallet, so to speak, is corrected then you can put the makeup over. But it honestly doesn’t matter. Yesterday I did corrector and concealer on a bare face and put some foundation over it and that was great too. I have also put on my foundation and added in a corrector and then a concealer but I am a light medium skintone so that’s easier for me to do. Deeper skin tones are going to have to go with a deeper apricot color which is very hard to hide. And I have had times where I have felt a little bit orange and blamed it on my Bronzer but I think it was actually that I put color corrector and either didn’t bother to cover it well enough or put it on over foundation. So it’s definitely a process of experimentation.

I just have to question if this version of a “corrector” plus concealer is any better than two layers of any good concealer. Tarte CC is my HG. I have significant inner eye darkness. Your hair looks cute here and helps to see the contours of the face with the shading!
Jess, first of all, thank you so much for the compliment on the hair. It’s so lopsided that it drove me crazy while I was editing. So I appreciate your kindness. I also pretty much agree with your questioning. It all just covers things up and trying to figure out what’s marketing and what’s a gimmick is almost impossible. I know that that tarte color corrector works but I know it ends up going a little bit apricot and needs something thin to cover it up and neutralizer over the top. And with that combo this Natasha really does work because the concealer is available in so many shades that it’s easy to get a nice thin veil of skin tone over the apricot shade. So in that sense I think it does work but any better than two layers of a good concealer? Your guess is certainly as good as mine. I do agree with you.

Hello Bridget! The concealer on its own is actually fine for little spots around the face but does nothing for the dark pits of despair when worn alone.

I bought a few shades of the Tarte correctors on your recommendation and absolutely love them. Still undecided on the ND though. I've been torn between the Prisme Libre concealer and the new ND. These look promising and look good on you. I am such a concealer junky. I too have deep set eyes and the dreaded blue toned under eye darkness AND I have dry under eyes so I am very picky with finding something that works for me. I will definitely try these out and give them a chance 😁. Fingers crossed.
When you said you had dreaded blue tone under eyes, do not fear, I heard the sound effect! Ha ha. I think you’ll actually like these for their hydrating qualities. I think they really might be a good solution for you.
@@Mmmelisssa One of my favorite concealers for the past couple of years has been the Dior Forever Skin Correct Full Coverage, they changed the formula a little bit ago. I recently picked up the new formulation and it is still good although the shades have changed a bit. Another good one is the NARS radiant creamy, I actually use the color Honey as a corrector shade as I love the consistency. Armani’s power fabric is also good. For a corrector, I don’t mind Charlotte Tillbury’s Magic Vanish Color Corrector. Also, Cle De Peau beaute concealer is also in my lineup, I have the newer formula but haven’t used it yet since I had a backup of the original formula. Sooo can’t speak about the newer formulation yet. I prefer not to use a traditional corrector as I don’t like to build up too many layers under my eyes. Also… if I still see discoloration even after EVERYTHING, I will take a small squirrel hair kabuki brush, like the Chikuhodo Z3 and stamp it into a powder foundation like the Make Up For Ever HD Skin Matte Velvet powder in a color matching my skin tone and strategically stamp it in the hollows beneath my eyes, not too close to the lash line, after setting the under eyes. This tends to truly erase all discoloration. But I’m careful as to not cause over drying with too much powder.
It’s a very pretty concealer with a lot of moisturizing properties and the right amount of luminosity without sparkle. But I feel it needs the color corrector underneath to be completely powerful. Please report back on your experience.

I don’t like the idea of having to buy two products to make one of them work. I don’t use color correctors (not to say that my skin couldn’t benefit from them 😂). I'm so excited to have over 50 shades of concealer! ☺ I'm half Caucasian / half Asian, and I can NEVER find a shade that matches my undertone and skin color. To make matters worse, I have dark patches of melasma, so I need a concealer that can really do the job without caking up on my 45 year old skin. I'm a little confused, though, about how Natasha intends for us to use the color correctors. I know I need a color corrector for my dark patches, but I'm wondering if I need to use a color corrector + a concealer OR if the color corrector will be enough since it's also called a concealer. The latter might be a problem since there are only 6 shades of the color correcting concealer, and there seems to be a big jump between medium and tan. In any case, it looks like I'm going to have to play around at Sephora to find out how this will all work together. But I'm happy companies are getting serious about actually matching people, unlike brands that will come out with like 10 shades for the entire population (or luxury brands that come out with even fewer than that)! Marni!!! I was confused as well and it really looks like she wants you to pick one shade of the corrector depending upon the problem that you’re targeting which really just means your skin tone because the correctors are so few. Then you can go ahead and put on the foundation and then your correct shade of concealer over the top. It’s really just another level and layer of correction and I really do think that they work best when paired together even though I totally agree with you that it seems that there should be some more shades of the corrector.

I would have been interested to see the darker shades on your other eye, my personal taste is not to use a really bright corrector and concealer. I think it makes it much more difficult for the products to actually do the job, the way that foundation that is too light doesn't do a very good job of covering dark spots or blemishes etc. I guess it is kind of "the look" right now to do very bright under eyes so the recommended shades for things on brands sites are not to my taste ATM. The MOB beauty foundation in Olive 60 matches my skin and the best corrector for me is the Bobbi Brown corrector in the compact (the full coverage one) in Dark Bisque and that is the ONLY thing that works for me to actually hide my dark circles completely. I drink way too much coffee. The concealer that goes on top is less important but the CT beautiful skin works fine. I also put on a thick layer of the Fresh Black Tea eye cream before I do my makeup and for me that is a mandatory step or nothing will turn out right. Just wanted to share in case anyone is frustrated because I was super frustrated for like a year about my dark circles.

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty it would actually probably have even worked in whatever was a shade darker than the ones you bought, having under eyes the same color as the rest of the face looks more natural. The white undereye trend can make that area seem longer, so the face looks longer, and therefore older. I would like to abolish that trend lol.
@@HeatherHasGame Heather! Fear ye not, I think that trend has mostly died. When on my own, I use one concealer, the color of my face even under the eyes. On camera, doing a lighter under eye allows me to test more shades. But I prefer ONE concealer color and I think, tho both looks are still fine, just one shade has taken precedence.

Mario lip pencils are DIVINE. The brushes on them are SO useful. Posh lipstick is lovely but dupable!

Hello Bridget! The concealer on its own is actually fine for little spots around the face but does nothing for the dark pits of despair when worn alone.
Yes Rebecca 🙌 coming in early with the reviews, I've been waiting for this one. It looked really good on you, I'm going to pick up the corrector and a concealer. The Bobbi Brown colour corrector is my holy grail so I'm interested to see how ND does 🤔 i think it's releasing here in the UK on Friday 🙂

I bought a few shades of the Tarte correctors on your recommendation and absolutely love them. Still undecided on the ND though. I've been torn between the Prisme Libre concealer and the new ND. It seems like your first impression of the ND may not be as favorable as the Givenchy? I'll stay tuned for updates!!
I think I prefer the Givenchy alone and the ND over a corrector....So far....

These look promising and look good on you. I am such a concealer junky. I too have deep set eyes and the dreaded blue toned under eye darkness AND I have dry under eyes so I am very picky with finding something that works for me. I will definitely try these out and give them a chance 😁. Fingers crossed.
When you said you had dreaded blue tone under eyes, do not fear, I heard the sound effect! Ha ha. I think you’ll actually like these for their hydrating qualities. I think they really might be a good solution for you.

@@Mmmelisssa One of my favorite concealers for the past couple of years has been the Dior Forever Skin Correct Full Coverage, they changed the formula a little bit ago. I recently picked up the new formulation and it is still good although the shades have changed a bit. Another good one is the NARS radiant creamy, I actually use the color Honey as a corrector shade as I love the consistency. Armani’s power fabric is also good. For a corrector, I don’t mind Charlotte Tillbury’s Magic Vanish Color Corrector. Also, Cle De Peau beaute concealer is also in my lineup, I have the newer formula but haven’t used it yet since I had a backup of the original formula. Sooo can’t speak about the newer formulation yet. I prefer not to use a traditional corrector as I don’t like to build up too many layers under my eyes. Also… if I still see discoloration even after EVERYTHING, I will take a small squirrel hair kabuki brush, like the Chikuhodo Z3 and stamp it into a powder foundation like the Make Up For Ever HD Skin Matte Velvet powder in a color matching my skin tone and strategically stamp it in the hollows beneath my eyes, not too close to the lash line, after setting the under eyes. This tends to truly erase all discoloration. But I’m careful as to not cause over drying with too much powder.
I ordered light N4 and I can’t wait to get it.
It’s a very pretty concealer with a lot of moisturizing properties and the right amount of luminosity without sparkle. But I feel it needs the color corrector underneath to be completely powerful. Please report back on your experience.

Thank you for sharing, Rebecca! This looks lovely on you! However, if the concealer can’t stand on its own, then it’s definitely a pass for me. I don’t like the idea of having to buy two products to make one of them work. I don’t use color correctors (not to say that my skin couldn’t benefit from them 😂). I just like a concealer that can give me some coverage, while still looking natural.
It works on its own but not on the pits of despair. Then again, nothing really does.

I'm so excited to have over 50 shades of concealer! ☺ I'm half Caucasian / half Asian, and I can NEVER find a shade that matches my undertone and skin color. To make matters worse, I have dark patches of melasma, so I need a concealer that can really do the job without caking up on my 45 year old skin. I'm a little confused, though, about how Natasha intends for us to use the color correctors. I know I need a color corrector for my dark patches, but I'm wondering if I need to use a color corrector + a concealer OR if the color corrector will be enough since it's also called a concealer. The latter might be a problem since there are only 6 shades of the color correcting concealer, and there seems to be a big jump between medium and tan. In any case, it looks like I'm going to have to play around at Sephora to find out how this will all work together. But I'm happy companies are getting serious about actually matching people, unlike brands that will come out with like 10 shades for the entire population (or luxury brands that come out with even fewer than that)! Marni!!! I was confused as well and it really looks like she wants you to pick one shade of the corrector depending upon the problem that you’re targeting which really just means your skin tone because the correctors are so few. Then you can go ahead and put on the foundation and then your correct shade of concealer over the top. It’s really just another level and layer of correction and I really do think that they work best when paired together even though I totally agree with you that it seems that there should be some more shades of the corrector.
Have you looked at Natasha’s UA-cam channel? She has several videos of how to select shades and how to use.

I would have been interested to see the darker shades on your other eye, my personal taste is not to use a really bright corrector and concealer. I think it makes it much more difficult for the products to actually do the job, the way that foundation that is too light doesn't do a very good job of covering dark spots or blemishes etc. I guess it is kind of "the look" right now to do very bright under eyes so the recommended shades for things on brands sites are not to my taste ATM. The MOB beauty foundation in Olive 60 matches my skin and the best corrector for me is the Bobbi Brown corrector in the compact (the full coverage one) in Dark Bisque and that is the ONLY thing that works for me to actually hide my dark circles completely. I drink way too much coffee. The concealer that goes on top is less important but the CT beautiful skin works fine. I also put on a thick layer of the Fresh Black Tea eye cream before I do my makeup and for me that is a mandatory step or nothing will turn out right. Just wanted to share in case anyone is frustrated because I was super frustrated for like a year about my dark circles.

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty it would actually probably have even worked in whatever was a shade darker than the ones you bought, having under eyes the same color as the rest of the face looks more natural. The white undereye trend can make that area seem longer, so the face looks longer, and therefore older. I would like to abolish that trend lol.
@@HeatherHasGame Heather! Fear ye not, I think that trend has mostly died. When on my own, I use one concealer, the color of my face even under the eyes. On camera, doing a lighter under eye allows me to test more shades. But I prefer ONE concealer color and I think, tho both looks are still fine, just one shade has taken precedence.
