Man, that looks amazing. There should most definitely exist skateboard roads in a place like that. So you can just ride in piece and enjoy that fucking amazing landscape! The cop comes at 13:15 but the video cuts right after he stops. I'm glad I was clickbaited tho.
this guy couldn't control himself, lol. and when skating on a highway, you're supposed to go with the flow of traffic, at 50mph. going 30 on a highway in traffic is stupid and dangerous.
You shouldn't even be on the road doing those speeds on a longboard in the first place. If you hit something going 30 mph while on a longboard, you would get seriously injured
Well you need to be better at skating then, practice speed runs on a quiet road to get comfortable then it's quite easy to be safe on the roads at speed
Averny I don't personally skate. It's not really my thing. I've seen enough accidents happen to know, however, that hitting a stationary object whilst going a decent speed is really dangerous haha
I've skated my whole life, I'm pretty comfortable on a skateboard. I was wearing thick-soled boots I could drag and a jacket to open up to the wind to slow down. Unfortunately, we all must die, I try to have fun while I'm here. Thanks for riding along.
The ride was obviously all down hill. My question is what was the plan to get back home, or was your home at the end of the journey. I'm an old geezer and don't know jack about skateboarding...But if I did, I'd be all over this trip. Looks like fun. Only thing is those wide into oncoming traffic turns wern't too bright.
Holy crap I've seen you parachute before. Every time I go up the highway I sometime would see guys parachuting off the edge. Lol that's right by San Bernadino
I missed the split second transition as i switched between tabs while watching the video at 13:32 I saw jumping you off the board, heard the heavy footsteps, switched tabs, came back and you were parachuting. I thought you pulled a GTA move and jumped off the cliff away from the cop just to parachute down the mountainside, had to go back and double check lmao
man, youre fearless on that board, at first I thought I saw a hand brake in your hand then I saw you ped-ecelerate, wow I wanna see you do this same run with a 100cc powerboard with brakes, they would never have caught you LOL
I've been long boarding for maybe a year now and not once have I had trouble with cops. a cop didn't even care when I was riding my board in a place with a "no skating" sign.
Wow awesome video. The skateboard ride gave me sweaty palms just watching it but the paraglide footage was amazing. I agree what a great way to get around. :)
People like you sir, make my day. He's on a damn SKATEBOARD in a 65-70MPH zone in a 4 lane highway, Fun yes, Accident waiting to happen, hell yes. The cop did the right thing.
That was a cool ride. I never was able to go that fast on a skateboard. It would be an awesome thing for me if I could take my Cannondale along the same route.
@Ian McBryde yup u got the chp part right... and i think this high is the one going to big bear, ca. but not sure it just looks familiar specially hwy 18 and that junction and chp lol
Totally random, but good to see I'm not the only one who gets the sniffles when bombing. All my friends think I'm crazy but it happens when snowboarding as well.
+Johnny Parsnips I hate when people say longboards aren't skateboards. same thing. different purpose. even longboards you can still skate street, just takes more skill.
he sounded like he's never been pulled over. In the past three years I've probably been pulled over, or been in trouble with the cops about 30 times. The reason I only say the past 3 years is because I've only lived in the states for 3 years, and the cops here are a pain in the ass, they pull complain about everything. I've been in trouble several times for riding my longboard, and even more for fishing at night, which is legal. I don't do anything bad, just petty little things like fishing.
okay i have a question where is this, to me it looks like hendersonville north carolina, but ide really like to knwo the town so i can like take vaction there cause it looks so peacefull with the mountains
I got a ride from a friend that day. I had my paraglider on my back hence the paraglider clip at the end.I often catch thermals and fly back up and land at home on top of the mountain. It's another 35 pounds or so to be skating with though.
Nice vid... coulda included the citizen skater/LEO encounter, but I ain't complaining. My brothers rode down hyw18 on BMX bikes back in the 80s... my gramz followed them down in her old blue ford f100... yeah my gramz was a cool lady like that.
Yes, I am dragging my foot to brake. I'm wearing steel toed boots because they have tons of sole to wear down. The highway is too steep, plus I have about 35 pounds of weight on my back, (my paraglider) and will go way too fast if I don't slow it down a bit.
Wow, how do you have so much control of the board with all those potholes and bumps on the road? Awesome footage, seemed like you were fine until you got onto the 55 MPH highway.
Fun Fact #2: If you read the description, you'll read that the cop did not pull him over because he was doing anything wrong, but because he was curious & amused & wanted to offer a ride.
Ha you skate like I drive. People are always passing me and I'm minding the road signs and speed limits. I just started longboarding (Aug) and the video is encouraging. Do you launch straight off your board?
so how did you plan on getting back home? same shit were i live i can pretty much ride to barstow if i wanted but coming back is another story... i usually only go about 10-15 miles north then turn around before i got to far.
Holy shit that's crazy I was wondering what the random paragliding clip was...explains all th shit on your back...that's crazy man skate more miles And the. Fly back up home..I've been paragliding once so ik what you mean by those thermal things just lifts you straight up cool stuff..I went paragliding over Malibu and landed on the beach don't even know if we were allowed to but it was fun!
Yes, that part was tripping out the cop. He kept saying "Your killing me, bro" Two launches. I was at the top launch going down to the lower launch to try and fly back up to the upper launch to get back home.
lol this is near crestline isnt it? near lake gregory regional park... that juction where got into hwy 18 looks familiar... i might be mistaken though... but just saying :)
Does anyone know the actual name of this sector 9, i have a Original pintail 40, a sector 9 Burleigh, and this one but i got it a couple years ago and have no idea what the name is besides sector 9 being the brand..
It's crazy that hanging by a flimsy piece of polyester a few hundred feet up is less scary to watch than rolling on 4 tiny pieces of polyester a few inches off the highway. I guess that's an acceptable means of travel though, considering the destination. =)
at the first part of the video i thought to myself, this aint that cool... then halfway through, OMG! this guy is crazy! lol... very cool video. i wish i had the balls to do that
Now only if you'd had one of those paragliding things on you and the board strapped to your feet you could have pulled a hell of a getaway they wouldn't be expecting that.
one of the coolest skateboard/paragliding videos i have ever seen. cudos to you! stay safe...
Man, that looks amazing. There should most definitely exist skateboard roads in a place like that. So you can just ride in piece and enjoy that fucking amazing landscape!
The cop comes at 13:15 but the video cuts right after he stops. I'm glad I was clickbaited tho.
hell yeah dude! i skated that whole thing at night about a month ago! nice fun ride
Who ever says longboarding is for people who cant skate id like to see you try to control yourself while riding 20-30mph on a road, surrounded by cars
this guy couldn't control himself, lol. and when skating on a highway, you're supposed to go with the flow of traffic, at 50mph. going 30 on a highway in traffic is stupid and dangerous.
Brody Wixted It's not though is it, sometimes those speeds just aren't achievable and he was well out of the way of traffic
So, when you got pulled over you teleported to the sky and safely glided down.
xWARx SABREWULF yer probably bein sarcastic but he says in the descriptipm that the cop gave him a ride to where he launched from
I've skated my whole life, I'm pretty comfortable on a skateboard. I was wearing thick-soled boots I could drag and a jacket to open up to the wind to slow down. Unfortunately, we all must die, I try to have fun while I'm here. Thanks for riding along.

I catch a thermal and land back at the top of the mountain.
Stephen Nowak Fucking boss. XD This is in California right? Also, it is awesome that the cop gave you a ride, that is so cool lololol.
Stephen Nowak Hahaha are you serious?? You are your own lift?
Greg Petliski IKR? This guy is awesome.
Stephen Nowak What do you mean you catch a thermal
I really wanna go there. I wish there was a route like that I could take here in england.
He could of been speed matching with traffic, but his balls were weighting him down.
I've always dreamed of bomging hwy 18 - closest I have ever come is neutral on 4 wheels. Thanks for posting, great tour of the local mountains.
That looked so cool. The scenery was awesome.
It looks like Virginia to me but idk lol
It's California and I think it's riverside or Oceanside
Its the San Bernardino mountains highway leading to Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead.
Dubtodastep p its definitely going down the mountain from crestline. I used to live there about 7 mins from hilltop. Amazingly beautiful place.
Holy crap I've seen you parachute before. Every time I go up the highway I sometime would see guys parachuting off the edge. Lol that's right by San Bernadino
I missed the split second transition as i switched between tabs while watching the video at 13:32

0:53 Omg that look like the place on gta5 near the mount chilliad thing XD
lol its California
This is in Southern California ...gta v is based on Southern California..the roads and atmoshpere is going to be similar
trevor philips yep gta is just like it to
Amazing run down that hill and over all that rough surface and not hitting any rocks or pebbles or Pot Holes! NO FEAR! Love It!
man, youre fearless on that board, at first I thought I saw a hand brake in your hand then I saw you ped-ecelerate, wow I wanna see you do this same run with a 100cc powerboard with brakes, they would never have caught you LOL
Man you knarly dude. This is a story of the lifetime!
I've been long boarding for maybe a year now and not once have I had trouble with cops. a cop didn't even care when I was riding my board in a place with a "no skating" sign.
lucky
Wow awesome video. The skateboard ride gave me sweaty palms just watching it but the paraglide footage was amazing. I agree what a great way to get around. :)
No convo with the cop that FINALLY shows at 13:37 (if your watching is when he shows up) and then some random parachute video right at the point.
People like you sir, make my day.
He's on a damn SKATEBOARD in a 65-70MPH zone in a 4 lane highway, Fun yes, Accident waiting to happen, hell yes.
The cop did the right thing.
Lol, Crestline!!! I knew it right when the video started!! All about Twin Peaks man!! Wish I would have seen you!
AWESOME!!!!
That was a cool ride. I never was able to go that fast on a skateboard. It would be an awesome thing for me if I could take my Cannondale along the same route.
@Ian McBryde yup u got the chp part right... and i think this high is the one going to big bear, ca. but not sure it just looks familiar specially hwy 18 and that junction and chp lol
how you going so slow my board wouldn't be able to slow down lol
its cause he didn't push off at all, you loose a lot of momentum if you dont
that's a teeny board to go be going so far and fast. props to you sir
Thank you. Most of us have lost friends and family in car accidents, yet we all choose to get in them every day.
He was like FUCK! COP! SKYFALL CHEAT!
LB, LT, RB, RT, Left, Right, Left, Right, LB, LT, RB, RT, Left, Right, Left, Right ...WINNING!
Haha good one
Yes, Crestline. From Summit to Playground to Crest Forest Drive. I go through top town before going down 18.
that view is amazing bro
that may be the most amazing thing ive ever heard. boarding down, and paragliding back up.
little confused, so you had the paraglider open while going down the hill? that's sweet!
no.
Totally random, but good to see I'm not the only one who gets the sniffles when bombing. All my friends think I'm crazy but it happens when snowboarding as well.
You got onto a highway with a skateboard....
*longboard
+Johnny Parsnips I hate when people say longboards aren't skateboards. same thing. different purpose. even longboards you can still skate street, just takes more skill.
Still got onto the highway with a whatever the fuck board.
Mc Ma go watch pro riders if u wana complain about people riding on a highway
Where abouts in Cali is this? It looks like a nice area. It's got some great scenery!
he sounded like he's never been pulled over. In the past three years I've probably been pulled over, or been in trouble with the cops about 30 times. I've been in trouble several times for riding my longboard, and even more for fishing at night, which is legal. I don't do anything bad, just petty little things like fishing.
How did it go from skating to parachuting
Awesome video. Great to see such beautiful roads paired with a confident skater. My only question is how to u get back home from that? Hitchhike?
okay i have a question where is this, to me it looks like hendersonville north carolina, but ide really like to knwo the town so i can like take vaction there cause it looks so peacefull with the mountains
This is amazing !!! - did you paraglide back up to where you started ? - If not how did you get home ?
Oh I have relatives in Running Springs and sometimes we go to Lake Arrowhead Village
Is this big bear before the snow? I live close to their next to Santa Ana
I got a ride from a friend that day. I had my paraglider on my back hence the paraglider clip at the end.I often catch thermals and fly back up and land at home on top of the mountain. It's another 35 pounds or so to be skating with though.
This road looks like it would be a fun place to just relax and skate board through i mean your riding through like a boss. I'd love to do that.
Amazing. Bombing such a road with that kind of gear on your back. Keep on enjoying life mate. ;D
I'd hate to click on this video to find out he didn't get pulled over .... 😂😂 he went parachuting .. what if that's his daily commute
Nice vid... coulda included the citizen skater/LEO encounter, but I ain't complaining. My brothers rode down hyw18 on BMX bikes back in the 80s... my gramz followed them down in her old blue ford f100... yeah my gramz was a cool lady like that.
this was bad ass! wish we could see the whole " piggy shake down" . respect, bro! you're livin it!
amazing !, have you ever boarded to launch like right off a highway ? or do you stuff your board in backpack ?
Yes, I am dragging my foot to brake. I'm wearing steel toed boots because they have tons of sole to wear down. The highway is too steep, plus I have about 35 pounds of weight on my back, (my paraglider) and will go way too fast if I don't slow it down a bit.
3 questions 1) what kind of board are you riding? 2) where is this mountain speed paradise located? 3) Is it hard to skate with balls that big?
Some big ol' nuts on this guy. Looks like you were doin about 40 DTH. Thumbs up dude.
I wouldn't do this at my age of 60 but would have loved to when I was younger. Great! Incredible! Kudos to the CHP too.
That was awesome! Were you trying to start flying from your skateboard? Or were you traveling to your launching point?
Wow, how do you have so much control of the board with all those potholes and bumps on the road? Awesome footage, seemed like you were fine until you got onto the 55 MPH highway.
Dude thats sketchy as hell, mad props man
@ 5:29 you can see the sign for HWY 18, which is in the Big Bear/Lake Arrowhead area.
This seems fun af'! :D you seemed scared and paranoid though.
Fun Fact #2: If you read the description, you'll read that the cop did not pull him over because he was doing anything wrong, but because he was curious & amused & wanted to offer a ride.
I THINK THIS IS IN BIG BEAR CA
he passed my uncles cabin
what type of board do you have i only have a carver and a nickel board
Ha you skate like I drive. People are always passing me and I'm minding the road signs and speed limits. I just started longboarding (Aug) and the video is encouraging. Do you launch straight off your board?
either this is all down hill or you sir are magic. leaning towards magic
curious...you guys that board from your houses down big hills like this, how do you usually get back up again?
That's like the longest God damned road in the world
lmao no shit. The video name made me watch it, but as you said longest road in the world but damn my old ass would do it also.
All kinds of epic videos !
great vid. reminds me of the 50 mile bike rudes when i was a kid. looks fun, nice cop.
Nice to chill here and watch this with a pizza and a beer! Great Vid!
What so was the flying part a different day or was that how you got home ???
i was really confused with the transition between being pulled over and gliding
I like how at 6:30 you make a dangerous stop to politely let the traffic pass you! Good guy right here
I wish that's how I got to school, I got one of those big 80's type Sk8 boards
Was that Crestline you started off in?
what happens when you get airborn, do you reach down and grab your board or just leave it on the ground?
so how did you plan on getting back home? same shit were i live i can pretty much ride to barstow if i wanted but coming back is another story... i usually only go about 10-15 miles north then turn around before i got to far.
I flew home. Catch thermals, climb in altitude, and land back at the top.
I wish you had more video of being in the air , not saying its a bad video it just looks really cool in the air !!
looks like a fun day you had nice vid btw
Yes, that part was tripping out the cop. He kept saying "Your killing me, bro"
Two launches. I was at the top launch going down to the lower launch to try and fly back up to the upper launch to get back home.
How much are those parachute glider things. Ima but one and a go pro cam
really I would like to know who you maintain a solid speed like that
lol this is near crestline isnt it? near lake gregory regional park... that juction where got into hwy 18 looks familiar... i might be mistaken though... but just saying :)
Where is this????? in Ca but what part looks awesome!
It got a whole lot more epic when I read the description
damn, how fast were you traveling? average speed and top speed? is this on one of those long boards?
It looks like a super place to live that's for sure. I'd love to visit sometime...
Must be nice living in a place like that. Not a lot of cars open road for riding nice
Hey do you live anywhere in new hampshire? I think i know where this video was taken
Nice kite man! Cant wait to get into paramotoring...
Is that Crestline? I swear the house you passed by at 4:24 looks like this guy's house I bought my motor from haha
Great video there mate
so you got pulled over then you jumped off the cliff with your paraglider to escape? AWESOME
its gorgeous there thanks for sharing bud
I heard a lot about this video on the way up to crestline...crazy awesome!
at the first part of the video i thought to myself, this aint that cool... then halfway through, OMG! this guy is crazy! lol... very cool video. i wish i had the balls to do that
Now only if you'd had one of those paragliding things on you and the board strapped to your feet you could have pulled a hell of a getaway they wouldn't be expecting that.
Dude, you are bananas! That is gravy & epic! I love this shit! -B
end park was better. So whats the go with the chutes? You guys jump off the mountains and ride the air pockets down??
