Hello Mohit, a doubt at 3:00 when the take time value is 148.5sec does that means, each product that the machine manufacturers needs to be processes in 148.5 sec
Hi Alka, I don't give classes however I can mentor you on your projects. you can connect with me on linkedin.www.linkedin.com/in/mohit-sharma-4406741a/
Inventory is the product waiting to to be processed before a process step. It could be invoices, loan applications and transactions in service industry.
In the time ladder diagram of value stream mapping, wait time should be the 'observed wait time'...... i.e instead of 46 min, 23 min, 19 min, 102 min, 3 min it must be written as 10 min, 5 min, 5 min, 6 min, 3min respectively
1) Is this VSM applicable for lean six Sigma only ? Not DMAIC ? 2) Here u have given 8 steps lean methodology. Can you provide me link of steps of DMAIC methodology ?
Great explanations
Wow thanks for sharing 👍
8 step process and VSM is very well explained, thank you Mohit

Hello Mohit, a doubt at 3:00 when the take time value is 148.5sec does that means, each product that the machine manufacturers needs to be processes in 148.5 sec
Or does that means, in current scenario in 148.5 sec 1 product is getting produced, which needs to be reduced and hence a new target needs to be set.
Yes!
Mohit, do you give any classes? Can I connect with you to discuss my qualifications on different forum if possible.

Hello Mohit, could you give examples of observed wait time? In services and manufacturing?
Hello Mohit Sharma, I hope you are well. Thanks for the video.
How do you calculate the values that are in the triangle? WIP
That is inventory. you go to the station and check how many are WIP 3 times a day and then take average
@@mohitsharma34 thanks very much. I’d like to connect with you to discuss some issues in my project.
Nice video. What is the meaning of inventory and how do we calculate it?
Inventory is the product waiting to to be processed before a process step. It could be invoices, loan applications and transactions in service industry.
@@mohitsharma34 . Thank you sir
Please give us an example of how to draw a future state VSM..
Sure
You can watch my casestudy video on lean. You will get the example in there

Vsm can be used in lean or DMAIC and if tools from both the methodologies are used in one project then it is called lean six sigma
@@mohitsharma34 didn't understand ??
What is the difference in AHT and TAKT Time?
AHT is measured time and TAKT time is calculated time
