Dude it is so crazy to me that you said that you're uncomfortable with the way you speak because that's actually one of the things that I like best about your videos (I've actually been waiting to be early enough to a video so I could tell you that). Your word choice and phrasing is so particular and emblematic of you as a person and I find the idiosyncrasy really comforting and special. Makes me feel like I'm talking to an old friend, even though I just watch you on the internet. Do whatever makes you comfortable, but don't feel like you have to polish everything for us! It's a joy to just watch you as you are.

I like when youtubers edit their videos less! It gives the videos a more realistic feeling, and it’s nice to see those peeks into your personality/mannerisms/human moments that might typically be edited out to make the video more perfect or seamless.

Hey Julia, just thought I’d mention, I use a few drops of eucalyptus oil in my water when I mop and it smells and cleans so good!! I’m sure you’d probably have some in your essential oil collection , might be a nice way to add to your nightly bathroom clean! Also your vids are the best, I’m a big fan! Xxx

I never realized people drink with brunch. For us it's just sweet and savory buffet late breakfast. That said, once you have kids brunch is stupid. We're on a schedule man!

I am a new subscriber. My wife and I watched many of your videos today and are really enjoying your channel. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, perspectives and amazing ideas on so many topics. My wife and I realized we both need a better wind down routine especially during these challenging times including a better nighttime snack. Lately, she reads and I watch an old movie before sleeping.
I absolutely have to side with Nick on this one. The word "brunch" makes me cringe because it feels like the entire paradigm was a marketing scheme to sell more alcohol during the day so they make it look classy by requiring reservations.
within the first three minutes, I was already inspired to get up and clean my space so I can get ready for bed. always love your videos Julia
I have the same vacuum & the same mop!! I love that mop & I use non toxic soap so the fur babies stay safe . I watch asmr usually while drinking tea to wind down . Was happy to see u post. I also dislike apple skins! 😂

Girl you can read My Side of the Mountain to me if you want. That was one of my favourite books growing up. Always wanted to learn bushcraft and falconry because of that book. The end always irritated me though.
I rarely comment on ANY video, but here goes nothing...
I always shower (or sometimes use a bath bomb & soak in the tub) before bed. Then I like to have one or two more sips of wine and maybe a snack of cheese & fruit before getting in bed. Once in bed I like to use a specialty hand cream that I bought in Montana and I only use at night before bed 🤯 Then I ALWAYS watch ASMR (you or Maria on Gentle Whispering) or guided meditation (Jason Stephenson) videos to help me relax & unwind. I will say this...it’s rare that I get thru an entire video without falling asleep 😴😴😴

I think a sock video series is something we all need at this time, great idea! I started going to bed much earlier now that winter is here (in Wisconsin). I hate the shock of darkness at 4 pm.🙄 I watch my fav UA-camrs till I fall asleep (after praying), and I'm able to get up earlier the next day.😊

I love using oils in my skin care!! i have very combination/sensitive skin; like acne, rosacea, super oily t zone and super dry eye area, but i find using a light oil helps even my skin out so much.
also love that nick has gotten so much more comfortable being on camera!! i love seeing your dynamic together ❤️❤️

I had a 30 minute conversation the other night explaining to a friend that the skins of apples and crunchy lettuce make me cringe. I am so glad I am not alone (maybe with the lettuce still though) lol.
I have short hair and I put my hair in low pigtails since it’s too short for a low ponytail.
Honestly I didn't even hear that fridge beep... it just adds to the caucophony of beeps in my house lol

I totally get Nick's argument on brunch. Me? I love brunch, but I love brunch precisely because you can't drink alcohol with your eggs on toast at 9AM but you CAN drink mimosas with your eggs Benedict at 11AM! And he is not wrong- you always have to queue as soon as somewhere puts "brunch" on the menu, because lots of people like me would rather be hungry for a few extra hours but get to drink cocktails with their late breakfast / early lunch!
Every time Julia says "there's something about " I'm like ahhhhhh I can relate especially the socks part. 😅

Lol I’m 33 and still sleep with my baby blanket too! My boyfriend surprisingly doesn’t find it weird lol. Also I get nicks brunch. Sunday brunch buffets with champagne type of brunch! Lol where you have to wait in line at a buffet lol
My hubby thinks the same, he doesn't like the word brunch or the ordeal of going to it but he loves a dirty greasy waffle house any day...
I on the other hand love brunch, no waffle house. It must be a guy thing lol.
Also, some tips for the ants:
Try and find where they come in and re-seal or weatherproof that area (door, window, gaps around outlets, etc), you can make a spray with neem oil, a little bit of dish soap, clove oil and water. They don't like clove. Neem oil is great for insects, plant pests etc. Its non toxic and safe for the environment. It has so many uses.
Also, you can sprinkle diatomeceous earth on corners and edges. Again, non toxic, safe for animals and environment.
IDK WHY BUT I BUST OUT LAUGHING WHEN NICK MAKES APPEARANCES his youtube persona is hilarious to me 😂
Night time snack is essential! E.g. an oatcake with goat cheese, basil oil & dried thyme. I also usually face rub my cat’s head so she gets pampered (her essential routine), then clean my face and moisturise with Kiehl’s overnight masque.
100 percent. Brunch IS breakfast with a line. For that reason, you guys will never brunch again, till your baby is 21.
Hello, lovely video! Not sure about the oils, I agree they suit many skin types but would keep them away from acne prone skins.. At least this is what derm says! I prefer an occlusive such as vaseline as last step which is proven to slow down tewl and it doesn't clog (but can lock in dirt and impurities if we haven't cleansed properly)
So my nighttime routine is quite simple. I shower, make a nice hot cup of tea and cuddle on the couch with my fav blanket watching UA-cam. Hoping that you've posted. I can watch you all day:) Your one of the coolest human beings I think I've ever laid eyes on;) Love you Juls💖

Possible ant problem tip. I've never used it but my best friend who does alot of gardening has for bugs and ants. Either can use just straight vinegar in a spray bottle with alittle bit of water. She also uses alittle bit of vinegar, water and about 1/4 teaspoon of dish soap. Just barely enough to make bubbles in the bottle but not that much. She has animals and she has found using the vinegar and water is safest for them. I know there are others but watching your video just reminded me and thought it would help if you are still having the problem. Congrats one the house! :)
You should try with cinnamon, I hope it helps with the little ants ❤️
We have a bit of a problem with ants too. It turns out we have sandy soil around our house so a couple times a year we have to spray ortho home defense around the perimeter of our house. That helps more than you would think. We got ours in our bathroom and they would climb up the wall like yours. And maybe try sprinkling cinnamon along your baseboards. It kinda helps but spraying around your house on a day it’s not raining and not going to rain the next day keeps them away!!
I had an ant problem not to long ago at my house and mint/peppermint really helped. I suggest using mint leaves or peppermint oil on areas where the ants tend to hang out. hope this helps😊
