WRONG about HIMALAYAN 450 | HIMALAYAN CHANGED MY MIND

- Hi Guys,
This is my first ride impression of HIMALAYAN 450 or HIMALAYAN 452. I rode HIMALAYAN in city traffic and mild off road to see how it handles. I was pleasantly surprised. Here is what I liked:
- Suspension : Beautifully tuned to soak up everything
- Engine is very flexible: Low speed requires you to be in right gear however it is still relaxed and gives enough flexibility. You do not need to shift gear quite often.
- Gear shifting is very precise and smooth
- Brakes are adequate for the bike
- Fit and finish is built to last
This is what I did not like:
- Paint quality could have been better
- Horn could have been dual
- Tube rims
Not sure about:
- Lights efficiency
- Hardcore off road capabilities
Overall an amazing motorcycle from Royal Enfield at this price point.
I hope you like the video, please do share your feedback in the comment section.
Your excitement says it all ❤
I've decided to buy it when it was first announced now I'm convinced 💯
The fact that it handles well inspite of the weight means it very well engineered. Please keep in nind that this engine is NOT a regular thumper but high revving high compression type. So keep the rpm atleast around 3k and not less. Enjoyed the vid..
Very true Koushik. Ride it for some time and you understand the power band.
I enjoyed the bike and feel that it will appeal to many.
Thanks for watching and supporting 🤗👍
Got my Hanle Black delivered 2 days back. What a beast. People stop and inquire. What an exaust note it has, specially when you Rev. Video don't do justice
Congratulations bro on owning an amazing machine 👍
Very true, it sounds very soothing and has really good road presence.
Hope you liked the video
@@Jatinsharmafamily sure. Couldn't disagree with anything. Keep growing 🙂
@@bhagwanparticlecongratulations bro. What’s the wait time and where you got it, Bangalore?
@@vemulateja4062 wait time currently it is 2-3 months minimum. I prebooked on 7th Nov, hence got it delivered. Those who are booking now, will have to wait.
I got it delivered in Pune.
I've ordered the Hanle Black but it will take until March next year to get here in the uk but at least I have plenty of India UA-cams on the Himalayan to watch for now. Looking forward to riding across dartmoor in Devon, seems perfect for the 40mph/65kph speed limits. Enjoy the bike around MG road? Visited Infosys Pune for my company and had a great time - would love to take the Himalayan up through Mahabaleshwar and stop for some strawberries on the way to the viewpoints and Elephant rock @@bhagwanparticle
Thanks for posting, great video of the organised chaos that is a ride in traffic without any roadrage.
Great looking bike and confirms my decision on ordering the Hanle Black/tubeless rims was the best choice!
Thank you so much for the support. Really appreciated 🤗🤗👍
Short and sweet, well done video, as a 23 model 411 owner here in OZ, I am not happy RE has stopped making the 411, but I can see why they have done it, your market in India is the perfect place for the 452. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much👍
Great review and really appreciate you speaking English 👍
Thank you brother 👍
Nicely done review🎉
Thank you bro.
Keep supporting 🤗🤗🤗👍
Good review
Thanks brother 🤗🤗
"I'm riding like a maniac". 😅😅😅. You got that right man!
Thanks Andrew for watching and noticing a small porting from the video😀👍
Bhai why you ride like this though 😂😂😂.
@adityan3208 😀to test the stability 😁😁
@@Jatinsharmafamily on public road😅. Highway jaate it'd be safer
@adityan3208 true and for sure. However it’s ridden with caution and for short duration. Highway soon👍
@jatinSharma Vlogs: Please compare against Scrambler 400X. Its a real confusion.😞 Which is good for city 60% and 30-40% highway tours and weekly breakfast rides.
Hi bro, have already compared both the bikes, below link is for the video:
ua-cam.com/video/Q4jbHoddGQM/v-deo.html
Thank you for the reply bro. Actually I am more interested in feel and conclusion after riding both bikes. Not as per specifications. As you have driven both bikes now, u can conclude it better now. ☺️
@Abzz64 thanks bro, got it. Based on your requirements I would suggest Scrambler400x. It is slightly better in city, fit n finish is great and has tubeless alloys and finally weight.
I hope it helps.
@@Jatinsharmafamily cool..!!! Thank buddy. This will be helpful for selection. 👍 Much appreciated.
@Abzz64 all the best.. safe riding 👍
Hi.. This machine is superb. Test ridden yesterday. But still confused buying hero Xpulse pro model for off road and highways and sometimes easy to ship accordingly weight. Pls advice.
Hi Hemant, thank you for watching and writing to me.
Hemant, it completely depends on your priority. If 80% is off road and 20 is road ride then xpulse would be good option to fulfill your needs at relatively low cost. If you wish to do touring, off road and daily commute, Himalayan is more capable.
Again if you want to do predominantly off road then a lighter bike is always best hence xpulse would be a right pick otherwise Himalayan is overall a better bike.
I hope it helps
@@Jatinsharmafamily yes. Definitely will help your feedback. Thanks bhai
Bhai where did I get for test ride in our area like kharkana sainkpur etc
Karkhana and Nareedmed
@@Jatinsharmafamily Bhai when I see your reaction while you riding it i was feel why I don't ride ? Just like wow definitely i Take test ride of this Him450 Thank you Bhai 🙌🥰
Different between rally addition v.s this 450 cc model? And which one is the best for all purpose ?
Hi Raktimbarman, thanks for watching and writing to me🤗.
Information about rally kit is not available on Royal Enfield website and also not a part of make it yours. This we may need to wait.
In my understanding this 450 is capable enough to take you to the beaten parts with no roads however if you intend to do extreme off road then probably rally kit would be worth. That’s what I think and let me confess I am not an off road rider and have no experience.
To me this 450 would do just fine for everything and every place I wish to explore.👍
Thank you so much🙏
I wish I knew when mine was coming
Soon for sure bro 👊
Saw this in flesh yesterday, too big for the city, waiting for Roadster 450 with 17" alloys
Thats gonna be dope, but actually the 21 inch wheels do give it quite the stance. For a tall guy it is much better than the scrambler 400x which has those smaller wheels
@@aayushashok549 tall and well built, Himalayan only ❤️ I'm 5'10 and it's a blessing, all bikes fit us well, waiting for the roadster it'll be a better city runner too
@@aayushashok54921 inch tyres handle the bad roads better. And that's what we need right now.
True
that offroad seems to be our normal road 😅😅
Very true bro 👊😁😁
Hey i just booked on 29 dec and now price is hiked so i will get at introductory price na
Congratulations Akshay.
I think you should get it in old price only but would be good to get the clarity from dealer.
First' 😅
Thanks bro🤗hope you like the video
@@Jatinsharmafamilyhey buddy! wanted to know which bike shines in terms of road presence and fit and finish??
@imkrrishnayak Hi bro, thank you for watching and writing to me.
Bro, can you plz specify which bike you are talking about?
If it for Himalayan then I can say that this bike has good road presence and the black colour looks the best.
