Can you make a tutorial for emulating grain in compositor plz ? That old video effect at the end is so cool!
@@noelflantier5441 Thank you! That is actually a huge node group for emulating vhs that I got in a video where an artist recreates the simpsons in Blender, the video was huge (in views) and I tried looking for it to give you the link but it appears to be taken down. Can’t seem to find it anywhere on UA-cam.
Also recently in Blender 4.2 the vhs effect strangely makes everything grayscale, and I’ve spent some time trying to figure it out but still no success lol.
If I end up finding the video I’ll let you know.
Only I know how anxious I was for this trailer! The movie is going to be something spetacular too, just like the trailer was.
May i ask h😅w do you get around doing the body animations? Mocap? individual hand done frames? Or some AI perhaps? Great work btw, just saw your previous video, definitely a sub after finding a fellow eevee user 💙💙
@@RetrovexAmbient Thank you! The animations are pretty much all of the above lol I use mocap via Rokoko Vision, some are keyframed (everything non humanoid is also keyframed) and some are mixamo (at least for this trailer, I may replace them with my own mocap for the final film)
@@void_visuals_ based! Do you use the paid version of rokoko btw? I tried using the free version but it really lacks especially with head movements 😭
@@RetrovexAmbient it's the free version. It's more accurate if you use 2 cameras in a well lit environment, like outdoors.

@@RetrovexAmbient it's free for the first two weeks lol but a nicely lit environment with good perspective reference points can get the job done with a single camera, of couse some cleanup is necessary later. Even with the suit it isn't 100% perfect. Mocap tends to be a little jittery, but it looks awesome after smoothing out the curves
Im starting to dig into blender and this is a great inspiration cant wait to see it. Also i didn't know eevee could look so good!
