This was such a needed teaching in my life. I have new revelation on my purpose in Christ and how that applies to my different assignments. I am currently a law student studying for my bar exams and I had the question 'Does God really care about my career?' Thank you Pst. Greg and the Seacoast Family for the word. Love from Kenya💗
If you’re in a job that doesn’t fit you, it’s very tough to get good at it. Some people are good with numbers, others are terrible with them and hate them. Some people are good at sales, other hate lying and pressuring people to buy something. You have to find something that fits you and your strengths.
That's part of the point, I´m currently in something that I don´t feel I fit for, in this type of situation we need to hold tight on our faith and believe that God will make his purpose manifesting in whatever are we doing, even if we are not the best on it and sometimes it gets stressful, we going to make our best effort in the name of Jesus Christ, it won´t be easy but he carried the sin of the world on the cross so now I have the opportunity to be save. Recently I prayed: "God help me to surrender to your purpose, no matter if now I´m uncomfortable and sometimes I get mad and frustrated, I know you have the power to transform all of those bad feelings into your holy joy, I prefer that than a vain happiness coming for my own search of satisfaction in this world. I prefer you, so make me humble and give me the confidence to overcome everything you need me to do."
I came to the realization that sometimes we are too rebellious and exalted ourselves then God puts a thorn in our flesh that is the narrow path we need to walk to accomplish his purpose in our lives, and that ok, if he sacrificed himself first why don't do it for him too.
But even so, there are times when God is just waiting for us to surrender to take us to a better place. God bless you and give you peace, love, and holy joy in what are you doing.🙏❤
