Without vocals, the moment at 2:48 has this hopeful yet melancholic feel to it. It fits well with Kiryu's words at the end of the game. He's happy to see his kids thrive and is hopeful about their futures, though it seems to manifest some feelings of inadequacy in him-as if his involvement in raising them didn't help at all when I think that couldn't be further from the truth. Them being well off without him is a testament to his guidance, they thrive because of him-not in spite of him. With what I saw from the ending of LAD 8, I hope he comes to realize this.
Anyway, Idk why i wrote this. This song is just so damn good.
