j'aime bien les trompettes anciennes mais rien ne vaut les trompettes modernes sauf la trompe de chasse dans un style différent et le cor naturel Pour moi ce serait une punition que de jouer ces trompettes anciennes archaïques

Holed Handel trumpets... a fake instrument Handel did not know for sure.

I am sure that Handel would have been glad if he could have hold a holed trumpet in his holy hands :)

Maybe he would be happy to have a synthesizer. That is not the point.

And he must certainly would be happy with valved horns, synthesizers, sound recording, and the advances of medicine namely a routine surgery to the eyes, but the fact is that he did not have those modern inventions.

I was just thinking how much better this would be with more splits and out of tune notes. Damn this wanting for a good sound.
