He's a beast but you got to think skating at batb final in front of all the cameras and people would throw u off
And here he was always doing their tricks. Giger's got the game, the mental part of the competition is what would make or break him. It's also a matter of experience, the more you compete at real tournaments, the less nervous you get - this is probably a big handicap for Jonny.

Samuel Guillén i think they are, he has a big variety of tricks just a few people practice, so he could easilly defeat a lot of the others, even if he lost last time
I think it's a logistical thing as well, they're in California, he's very far away
I hope you realize that they invite the best skaters not just the best flatground skaters. Johnny is a flat ground specialist. Luan and Joslin can do many of these tricks down a 10stairs set as well. That's a big difference.

Aaron Jacobson it’s not always so easy. i wish i could still skate but i broke my leg and wrist. snapped it like a carrot down a six stair trying a heelflip. it messed with some nerves and i no longer have control over my leg. and then i developed arthritis since my parents had it so as much as i used to love it. i’d rather live without anymore broken bones. BUT that doesn’t stop me from carpet skating

What’s weird is I happened to randomly be watching that BATB & the whole time I was wondering how Jonny Giger would do in this. So I looked up “Jonny Giger BATB” to see if you’ve done any and I found this video of you doing all the tricks from the one I was watching wondering about you. Lol
I think the Sw Fs 360 Heel and the SW Heel Body Varial Revert are like special moves of skate.
This was a really good video. Maybe this should be your flat ground warmup routine moving forward or something.

Dude, you totally hands down got the chops to make it to batb finals! But traveling, skating in a different surrounding, the pressure of going against living legends and being watched are some things people don't consider. I felt Tom Asta could have done better but the nerves got to him whereas the other dudes were more acclimated to that competitive scenario.

You honestly need to compete in more competitive games of skate. You can do tricks that most can't like late flips and other unique tricks.

you will do well man in BATB you will have a lot of chance going to finals, but the skate night has 2 rounds. besides from having consistent tricks you will need stamina too.
