Rick Moranis really perfected the puppy dog look in the 80s. Always found him to be so incredibly endearing in every movie he was in.

@@florenciaalvez-georgeoglou7254 i know. And something else i’ve noticed about both those movies and then one. The scene where Seymour asked Audrey to marry him had the same camera POV as that when Wayne Szalinski told Diane how he accidentally shrunk the kids and then again confessing to her about having blown up Adam back at the lab in Honey, I Blew Up The Kid. Once again with that same camera POV.

The thing that strikes me the most from the clips is just how long of a shoot this movie was. If you watch the clapboards it goes from at least November of 85' to June of 86'. WOW. I assume Rick Moranis' next shoot after this was "Spaceballs."

The blooper reel being made by a cast member, it has the same corny vibe as those video game Easter eggs that are an inside joke or a reference to some “you had to be there” aspect of development. I like it.

But this is a non-official making-of, isn't it? Gotta have some balls leaking stuff from a production. I wouldn't. ever. Not just because of the ball but without asking all the cast from 10 years ago...? Let's say people who bring this leak as a wonderful gift to me may have met some of the fellows from the shooting - and been talking all the time when they met again like: 'You cut that little outtake-teaser for us, do you still have it, should be on youtube, was so nice #OldTimes .. note the high pitched voice and also if you watch Rick in the background, he appears to be moving faster than normal. This reveals the "undercranking" trick they did: run the film slowly through the camera, then speed it up later to make the puppet seem quicker and more agile. To help the actors lip sync properly, they played a slowed-down version of the dialogue and singing on the set.

7:21 Was he doing a Bert/Fozzie voice on purpose, did he slide into it unintentionally, or is that just how he sounds when he raises his voice?

This has been my favorite movie since I was just a babe, cutting her Broadway teeth. I started writing Ellen Green letters at 4 and did so every few years. I started petitioning my parents to change my name to Audrey at age 7. and as a semi-adult Ellen will be my ultimate beautiful-gorgrous-everything-is-right-with-the-world-when-i-get-to-see-her-perform
    human being.
Thank you for sharing these videos. They mean so SO much to me. 🥺💗💗💗
