Honestly the nerf to nourish isn't as bad as I thought it would be, it still looks strong enough to warrant using but not overwhelming
I legit thought they would remove one of the two bonuses and then nerf the bonus left over.
Energy multiplication is great no matter how high, and honestly I don't care about the viral dmg% it's the fact that it procs viral in general
@@ordgaming4189 It has three bonuses! People often overlook the AoE viral proc burst when your frame gets hit, but it's definitely not nothing.
The problem is that this does functionally nothing other than make it the ability slightly worse. It doesn't make any of the other abilities more compelling. If you needed it to make a Frame's energy economy better, there are still no other options, it's just now going to do the job not as good as before. It's like, "Hey, we noticed that all of you're using a hammer to drive nails into wood. We'd like to see you consider using other tools, like screwdrivers and wrenches to do the job, so we're replacing your hammer with a smaller one."
Is anyone going to use a screwdriver for nails? No. Everyone is still going to use the hammer, it's just less effective and more annoying now.
@@Horvath_GaborThats the intention, they said they didnt want to kill the ability in the helminth completely and this brings it in line with other helminth options
@@theurbanreanimator7244 but what's the point of doing that if it isn't going to change usage rates? They are just making it more annoying to use for no reason.
>Eclipse is getting changed to toggle due to lighting changes
I love it.
>Eclipse damage buff is now 30% down from 150%
I don't want it.
I hope the Helminth enjoys the meal.
I honestly consider not ever interacting with the Helminth system again because DE have made it clear that it is a mechanic they do not want to have a place in the game.
They literally took it down 80% of it's previous value! It's only 20% as effective as it used to be
i mean who tf ask for elcipse changes? i like the way it were. really dumb and noob to whoever ask eclipse for changes. now eclispe is dead
I want to take a moment to point out that Dante's alt helm is very similar to the Outer God, Nyarlathotep, of the Cthulhu Mythos.
Noice
All things considered, I do like how they went with the Nourish nerf. They didn't completely destroy the aspects of the ability that people used it for, but instead just tweaked the values so that it's not a clear winner compared to other potential options.
I'll still probably use it, but that's because my build is based around Nourish's energy regen and viral % damage. I think most players would be fine using a different subsume over Nourish if their build didn't specifically rely on it.
Imo they should of just left viral damage untouched and completely remove the energy multiplier you get from it but a good change nonetheless
No, it's still a clear winner. When you need it to fix a frame's energy economy, or a specific build, you're still going to use it, because there's no other compelling option. Nobody is going to use a wrench to drive in nails just because their hammer got replaced by a smaller one; they are just going to have a harder time, and nobody benefits. Sure, it could've been worse, but let's not pretend this is a good change.
Take notes bungo.
@@Horvath_GaborId use Dispensary over it now since dispensary also gives health orbs and ammo pick ups making it better for general support over nourish, you lack a creative mind
@@theurbanreanimator7244slap on equilibrium on the frame or if you have one dethcube is an option as well and your basically never going to run out of energy
Nourish technically got a buff since it won’t overwhelm your status procs with viral. So I’ll be using it now lol. When is ice wave going to be good???
They've reworked Hydroid and now Inaros, maybe frost will get his turn soon
Hopefully. Haven't used frost in years lol @@FrozenxDeath
no joke, i still think that for his rework, they should mesh frost 1 and 2, into a single skill, make it the carpet, but make it freeze enemies hit. remove the 2nd ability's augment, and make it the 1st. and give him a new ability.
that would allow it to actually be usefull, as a cold version of condemn, that is wide instead of straight.
then give him another cool ability, maybe summon a frozen orb that circles around him, and shoots ice shards when he shoots, and explodes into an ice nova when he melee stuff.
its augment could be something defensive, like reduce damage taken by a %, a buff to abilities cast while active, like extra damage, or make it into a summon that attack enemies and draw aggro on its own, like a pet.
@@FrozenxDeath I'd really like them to prioritize changing Frost's passive of all things they can change in his kit.
@@FrozenxDeath I still play Frost, and don't think he needs a rework, only make his mod that deals more damage to frozen enemies be his passive.
Now a frame that I don't play and see no one using is Nyx.
God I hope DE does something as a reference to the 300 status effects typo in the future, 300 random status effects is such a funny idea
I am so hyped for Dante. I've been wanting a more wizardly warframe for a long time now, and male frames don't have very strong 'caster' archetype picks. Dante looks amazing, his floating animation set is awesome, Exalted Grimoire with the nifty 'all tome mods allowed' modifier, and then the flexible kit, he sounds so very promising. All he needs is for his numbers to be solid and he'll be my new main!
Ditto. He’s exactly what I was missing from the warframe roster, and I think he looks absolutely incredible.
Definitely the most excited for the netracell drop table changes
I only bought 2 shards from Kahl and now that I've unlocked home, they move the shard to deimos when they have weekly nectricels. Oh well at least I have the archon mods.
The viral damage reduction on nourish is fine in my opinion, should be easier to proc other status that way
Seriously true tho. Viral is just a cosmetic side proc for me. 😂
@@saimyintmyat9373not sure what you mean by cosmetic since it is one of the most useful status effects in the game 😶
@@Nezha_Main I meant it because it is just "Cosmetic" only for Nourish, I know it is very OP for that particular ability, sometimes it can ruin your elemental reactions.
@@Nezha_Main and Viral is less useful outside of Grineer faction. (Especially Corpus And Murmur factions)
@@saimyintmyat9373 it does work against infested as well as Grineer, as for corpus toxic works well, though I have killed the murmur with it plenty of times, though rn I use a melee with magnetic and gad for the vortex arcane .
My nourish Styanax after the nerf:
Oh no!
Anyway
The horror of having to pick up 2 energy orbs instead of one.
Lol
TRUE
@@BaeBunni Styanax can pick those up?
My Nezha is barely gonna be affected (Subsumed Eclipse over Nezha's 4, giving it 518% max with precision intensify)
Deep Archimidea sounds like a combination between mythic runs from WoW and the discarded raids (since you have to run the missions back to back), personally that's what I'm looking forward to the most
your sounding very good, myself understand every word you said in this vid or previous once, i am sorry for my bad english in first place
Honestly, great info roundup style video. Everything in one place, not too time consuming. Appreciate it!
bro end of march is crazy
Yup
@@TacticalPotato Worse for me: I have a chemistry mock so i cant even see the new update
@@OliChanUwU mocks more important, contents not going anywhere!
Im not gonna have the new frame for weeks because i have a wedding on the 30th. I was hoping he would release mid month
@@undeadinside3571 what's the problem with getting him later? There aren't any cookies for people getting him when he releases ;)
Have a good wedding!
I'm REALLY interested in the deep archimedea activity. I've always thought that the game could use stuff like this more often to give people something to do to test their skills more.
wow eclipse was my first subsume and most used (until whispers where it actually never got a damage boost) I was getting 469% damage boost on my Revenant and changed to nourish for whispers. Now what? I guess Roar ... pillage? terrify (for 100% armor strip)? Oh well...
You can still use nourish, you just won't have as big of a viral weight, which is kind of a good thing, and less energy gain.
yea, like f*ck to whoever ask eclipse for changes. my profit taker & eidolon hunt is dead now. so dead. f*ck eclipse, nobody gonna use it now days
2:33 it wasn’t the lighting in general, but the issues was the new tiles set. They didn’t work properly due to them updating the lighting systems with textures which are still also messed up.
Pretty sure overtime Eclipse will get a fix up for this issue.
Eclipse won't be relying on light any more after the update.
@@Goldy01yea but its relayable now if eclipse no longer need light anymore? proft taker & eidolon hunts is dead now. so dead. f*ck to whoever ask changes eclipse
@@rizal2175because I don't have Prime Sure Footed, I have spellbind on my chroma instead of eclipse. And yet I still complete profit taker fast enough to have a healthy amount of credits after farming for an hour or two.
I don't see why eclipse is that much needed for PT farming when most credit sinks have other resources be limiting factors (such as endo for mods)
I don't mind the nourish nerf at all, the decreased viral damage might actually be useful since I run high strength and the amount of viral it gives me now can mess with status weighting.
Well, there goes using Eclipse to give Titania 490% extra weapons damage, I suppose...
The nourish nerf isn't as bad as I thought it would be. They could've easily nerfed it into the ground and made it completely useless to have. This feels crappy, but fair and with a point.
Ahh first 🙋🏻♂️
I was waiting for him since his show off. Thanks for the great video, have a nice one Tenno 🤛🏻
Oh, DE had to see my 5x melee weapon exilus adapter run with netracells so they tweaked a new mode for better rewards 😅
I’m looking forward to this update a lot more than previously! Two of my best friends just started warframe and they’re already on the railjack quest and I can’t wait to see what they think of this!!
Thanks for talking fast. Can you tell us more about orbiter fast travel?
But why. Why would you ever nerf Nourish in PvE-focused game? Health is already the worst type of damage absorber we have. It makes no sense 😞
I'm actually really excited to try Dante as well as the higher level missions, need to get my grind on for the standing though.
Really hope the "adjustment" to the netracell rewards decrease melee arcane adapter chances. I got 4 this week. I can already buy the things really wish they weren't on the netracell period.
Saw the Guardian Armor augment for Chroma and got excited, thought vex armor was the subsume ability but its not. Would've loved that on Inaros
Inaros was the first prime lad I got and I can't wait to try his rework out, it'll be fun times hopefully
They really should bring the numbers up on Eclipse. 30% at base is not enough to be worth it, even with the additional damage reduction built in.
Thanks Tater!
Thanks dude. Awesome
rank 5 with the cavia so fun love daily standing caps.
talking about cosmetics it could be a good thing to add a toggle open for syandanas, because without it,some of them are not opening and thus are useless and a waste of platinum (like the flox syandana for ex)
Really looking forward to the Chroma mod. I wish they hadn't done the Vex armor nerf, but I still like him overall. Have been trying to find a good overall build for him lately.
corners unbound too
Mirage is my main so I am happy with that
6:57 if only rolling ward existed...
Some super cool changes honestly, its a shame that when dragons dogma 2 comes out my life will be entirely consumed for weeks.
That said the nourish changes wont make me stop using it, the energy boost is good regardless but the viral status is all I was really after before, the fact that it added damage wasnt that big a deal to me, unless the damage value increased the chance of status procs being viral.
Also these mirage changes might have me give mirage another play, I didnt really play her much after she came out even though I knew it was good, honestly I just suck at surviving without some immortality gimmick so having a reliable damage reduction will be nice.
I've literally never subsumed nourish 😂
Honestly, what the damage increase from roar and eclipse when subsumed on other frames?
I'm kinda on the fence about the Gara passive. The old passive's been good to me since I have no problem with the lighting. The new one is not so bad, but I don't use her abilities alot (run them guns) so that difference will be noticable to me. Oh well.
Yeah, I agree about that. I liked running defense missions with gara and every tileset aside from the labs worked just fine with her passive blind, but now i have to active cast abilities to blind enemies instead of just running around? Shes sucks up a ton of energy to cast her abilities
Do you think you can play tic-tac-toe with Dantes 2 and 3 ability animations
I do think the devs should give us a few more options when it comes to energy regen. Honestly though, I’ve been using Energy Nexus and Energy Siphon together, and it’s good enough as long as I don’t spam recklessly. I refuse to run energize, but it’s a solid option too.
i dunno, there are so many already, from pizzas, to arcane energize, to abilities that force energy orb drops, to equilibrium and then nourish.
for example, i still defend the best ability to put on a CC vauban is spectrorage with its augment. no joke, you throw that thing around a vortex, and the party will be swimming in energy orbs.
There are already lots of ways. Hunter adrenaline with heal is best until you need shield tanking. Duration skill frames rarely need energy besides zenurik. There is also an operator arcane to spawn lessee energy drops( I forgot the name).
If you use a sentinel then you can use a trick of using a high fire rate sentinel weapon with synth deconstruct mod. And you yourself use equilibrium mod on your frame. This is a highly effective build. It requires little to no investment and is very consistent as long as you are killing things.
7:22 I read on the official DU page that it said six rewards, making the weekly total 9, no?
Have they changed it in the past couple of hours?
It always said 5, they explained it on devstream last month with a graphic that said 5 rewards as well. So 8 total. Maybe you read it wrong or someone had a typo?
I know there’s a lot to unpack here but the lighting looks phenomenal
Looking forward to this update. Still gonna use nourish cuz I don’t have arcane energize, and my Mag is hungry
we do have zenurik & nourish tho on warframe. use it b4 got nerf
Im sure those 2 forma will help with the 20plus ive used lol.
Is nourish changed on Grendel to or only in helmint.
i still dont like that they made Inaros passive ability a clone of Sevigoths... but at least it looks like Inaros will still be useable and enjoyable for me, and yes, i will take the sand cats as a bribe DE
also that mirage change seems pretty neat, i might use her again
they should make the Kavat different, would love to see like a jackal
So this update is dropping on my birthday lol. Im not sure whether I should be happy or a little sad since this week is my spring break for grad students.
im sad chroma wont be able to make use of eclipse. it would be really cool to use the new chroma augment and eclipse DR mode to just become a mega tank for the team
but he never really could though. you cant have both eclipse and vex armor are both damage enhances, and you can only have 1 of them in the kit. in fact, if you were to try and put it on him, the game would only allow you to, if you put it in place of vex armor.
@@marcosdheleno yeah ik
@@marcosdheleno that's what he's saying mi amigo
was not base health for warframe cap around 9000-12000 or less? at least warframes them self have a lower max health limit then the incubation pets with link health mod. that when if my thoughts are still true then inaros 4th has a fix damage limit. when consider the lua conjunction arcana for health as well with the mods. what may need testing inaros new 4th on how well it preforms on level 300+ steel path enemies.
Woa 3 days before my bday
Really excited for the new leverians
Didn't nerf the damage for Eclipse, just everything else about it by a smidge. I love Mirage a lot but I will test my M Prime to see if these changes are better, hopefully they will be 👍
for her kit, the change is barely noticeable. yeah, the max dmg you get from it will be lower, but you will have it 100% of the time. as opposed to because a baby cried on the other side of the planet...
being able to go between offensive and defensive by choice is amazing. and the offensive nerf(to her) IS no where near bad enough to really make it not worth using.
@@marcosdheleno That's true, and with the toggle change I may end up using Sleight of Hand for once lol, literally the one ability I never spam due to the lighting requirements
lmao, eidlon hunt & profit taker is dead by now, cause eclispe is so useless.
I’m still far behind. I just started playing The New War this morning. It took me a bit to get a necromech and I was trying to get a better amp for my operator but I’m now stuck cause I need Eladon shards and everything I watch says to do it solo I need to do some Angels quest so I looked it up and it said I need to complete The New War first so that’s what I’m doing now. I’ve been trying to figure out who to get better at killing higher enemies cause I have some trouble doing bounties with 40-60 lvl enemies
I've just been using a 1-1-1 amp, and while it struggles against the Void Angels due to having low energy, it destroys the Thrax in one/two shots. To earn standing with the Quills for the amp parts, just kill the vombalysts at night, on Cetus, the mote amp is fine against them, and hand in the sentient cores that they drop, for standing. Rhino is your friend for the bounties, he has Iron Skin for survivability, and Roar for extra damage for your guns. Titania is also an option, due to her rapid firing pistols while in pixie form.
they gonna finally make it so we can do the inaros quest again for the tomb guardians?
9:21 "i think i might even be talking much faster than i usually do, if i am 😃good luck understanding me" me watching in x2 speed 💀💀
The Eclipse nerf is rough honestly. Before it was a choice between a higher buff to direct damage with eclipse or a lower universal damage buff with roar, now I think roar will just be the superior choice every time.
and roar is already so damn close to worthless that I feel like I've wasted my time by ever giving a crap about that system.
@@fluteplayer7mce I feel like diagreeing with you but I see on your profile that you've defeated Absolute Radiance in HK so I'll say I'm sorry Sir I spoke out of turn
like come on, roar consume more energy & has longer casting animation and then the damage its just .....
Those Inaros changes are insane! I'm very excited for my abilities to actually do something
Guess its time to change from mirage to harrow after the update
I have 700 hours in Warframe and I struggle a bit with a fully built frame and 6 forma weapon. Cant imagine using random frames and weapons to do the deep dives...
WOOOOOOOOO It's on my birthday
So is eclipse useless unless you want damage reduction?
Seems like it. Personally, I'm not too bothered since I just use Roar anyway, but I still sympathize with players who did use Eclipse to see the funny damage numbers.
@@HouseLyrandernever done eidolon hunt & profit taker huh? i see. roar consume more energy and more casting animation
My Explosive Legerdemain Mirage with Empower subsumed over Eclipse:
That's a shame.
Anyway
Why? Mirage herself is getting a buff. The subsumed version is getting a nerf.
I can't wait for this update to drop at the end of March!
Just like I can't wait for it to be playable at the end of April lol
thats the first thing i thought about when i saw deep archimedea: deep rock galactic deep dives
instead of nerfing nourish give other options for energy regen
in case anyone missed the news on Eclipse: It won't be an additive bonus. They are still keeping it as a multiplicative final dmg bonus.
I wish they raised the cap of the subsume's DR to 90% though :/
Yeah, the DR Eclipse is mostly gonna be used to make squishy frames comfy on Starchart and Sorties anyway and I'm pretty sure Ability DR is capped at 95% anyway, so there's no harm in letting every frame have 90%.
Wow they went pretty crazy on the Eclipse helminth nerf, pretty sure I'm not a fan
Jfc. If you have to basically slot it in in the last possible, realistic day in March, just don't announce it early.
Huh? How is knowing about future updates earlier a bad thing?
I can finally be invisible in Conclave again as Ivara without looking like a lava lamp.
Those changes to mirage seems more like a mini rework than just some changes :O
Edit: also, it makes a lot of sense for Inaros to apply corrosive, as sand is a highly erosive agent, being capable of transforming rocks into more sand.
Im really excited for my space dorito wizard
The nerfing on the dmg side of Nourish seems ok atm. I mainly use Nourish for the Viral procs and the excess in energy economy anyway. So long as the procs aren't nerfed, I think it's safe to assume Nourish will likely still be one of the most subsumes if not the most.
All that being said, that Eclipse HARD nerf will likely make 99% of Eclipse builds go the way of the dodo bird. My question is if Mirage herself is getting a Nerf or is it just the Helminth aspect of Eclipse?
Only the helminth. Mirage herself will benefit from the changes
Hear me out: the energy on nourish was fine. The issue was viral and how busted viral is.
There are more effective ways to generate energy for less effort. People used it because alternatives were either expensive or have yet to become mainstream (equilibrium for example)
So shotgun vendetta will be meta with eclipse?
ROCK AND STONE
Ah so the new endgamr content is pick your own poison to get more chance for loot, first time I encountered this mode is on Arknights' Contingency Contract. It's somewhat present in a lot of f2p games, I'm so excited to see how well it translates into WF since the build possibilities is just sky high
3 weeks in a row I got no archon shards only common arcanes ima cry
I get the feeling Inaros is going to be a bit stronger than we now first believe, by looking at the stats only..
I'll have to check on the augmented Eclipse in combination with my Trinity how good it will be..
As someone who used Nourish a lot, I like the nerf - they didn't change any of the fundamental aspects, just toned down the numbers a little. 45% viral is quite fair, given how something like Smite Infusion would give 100% radiation, require and augment and not provide any energy / cc / status explosion benefits.
Neato!
That Styanax skin and Inaros rework🤧
So, eclipse would be shit on eidolon hunt or still usable?
come on, .... base damage . its freackin useless against profit taker too
I need to check out Eclipse after the rework, see if its worth replaceing roar
I feel that people are missing the forest for the trees here. If anything, I think the unconditional 75% DR is way more useful, as it can be either used to shore up squishy frames, or to make already tanky frames even more unkillable, while only requiring 100% power strength (as it doesn't scale). The fact it can, with the press of a button, temporarily turned into extra weapons damage, is just a bonus.
No, the damage was and is way more useful bruh
@@Horvath_Gabor EXACTLY. damage reduction for frail frames is amazing, as it gives another choice besides shield gating for survivability. besides, eclipse was always unreliable when it came to the buff. being able to get what you want all the time is incredibly valuable.
i do feel like the nerf to the damage is too much. it should've been something like 50%.
@marcosdheleno 75% does not give enough survivability to be useful tbh. It's a nice buffer, but it will not help past base steel path.
@@dengar96 the DR stacks on shields too. Unlike armor which gives DR only to health. Shields already have innate DR of 50%. So bumping shield instead of health is the way to go with squishy frames with reworked eclipse.
This also works better because there is a sentinel companion mod called guardian that completely refills your shields once it depletes. So it basically doubles your shield while giving you two shield gate charge. And it has only 30 sec cooldown. Plus shield charger gives you overshield. Overshield has 90 percent DR and its own shield gate. Now add primed regen on your companion with sacrifice. And now you have a crap ton of survivability unless you go down regularly because you afk.
what about Mirages 2nd ability ? it also deals with light
Now you control the light. But 4 is still better than 2. Both suck though.
Honestly Nourish is a welcome nerf. Means I can up my ability strength and not worry about viral taking proc priority.
It is a shame they had to nerf Nourish rather than make other abilities more appealing. Though it is really hard to contend with energy and viral in one skill. It mostly seems like the utility skills are awesome, like grouping skills (nidus, zephyr, khora), buffing, or armor strip. There are some that prob won't ever be used unless you make a meme build like the Mesa support bot with well of life on her 4.
The energy nerf on nourish is gonna hurt my build more than the viral nerf, so it shouldn't be that bad imo
Dante: fly you fools
Dante: *falls into dark chasm*
Excalibur: NOOOOO!
Dante: *Picks up Excalibur
Dante: YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!
I find it sort of ironic that the wizard warframe drops so close to my birthday (April 1st), when I'm turning 30 and become the meme wizard.
Basically nourish went from op to really good i like it
I still dont get who put into DE's head that without playing with nourish you are playing the game wrong
it went from 150% to 30%, but it also no longer cares about lighting. You were hardly ever getting that full 150% to begin with, and now the DR side is way more reliable.
The one problem I see is that Roar is just plain better now, since it also affects abilities and double dips on status effects
@@yetanotherrandomyoutubecha4382 For only weapons, yes. Although I personally dislike how you can't manually recast roar, which means I often have DPS downtime refreshing at an inopportune moment
@@pvrhye yeah, and the animation is a bit longer too I think. Still, the DPS loss is realistically too small for eclipse to become the better option
