Was this one originally called Nightspawn and then renamed due to copyright issues with Todd McFarlane? Or am I just Mandela effecting this? I could have sworn I saw that same cover with "Nightspawn" on it. Edit- Wikipedia confirmed. Haha. I may still be crazy, but not about this.
That combinations you could get were ridiculous, by friend rolled up a snake bodied, rat headed creature with rocket jets on his head and machine gun eyes , the one I rolled up was basically ghost rider with a flaming skull and animated chains lol
Ah, Nightbane. Never played a straight Nightbane game, but had two very interesting things come out of it. First, a Rifts game where the Big Bad was a Nightlord whose appearance was based on the Smoking Man from early X-Files. The second was I used the setting for a crossover fanfic with several anime, which was a significant step on my development as a writer.
This is a great game and I'm jonesing to play it but I think that the vampires are an over kill. If/ when I run it I'm going to leave out the blood suckers.
Outstanding primer on Nightbane! Please keep these videos coming!
Great review, as always. Thank you.
Picked this one up! Looking forward to expanding my Palladium megaverse.
Read the section on The Preserver Party. It explains how and why Nightbanes aren't commonly known.
I love this game! and Though the glass Darkly and Between the shadows are 2 of the best palladium sourcebooks of all time.

Do something like mummy game where you're going through time and every single time the nightlords try to breach the mirror wall your bane awakens

If 1/2% of the world population was nightbane there would be 35 million
