I especially like the combo kitchen island/bench. So clever. There is an impressive amount of storage in such a small space. I like that she kept favorite pieces like the secretary and the 50s dinette.
You might want to consider getting a bed with drawers below the mattress. Its a great way to utilize space that would otherwise go to waste. Having lived in Europe it is not uncommon there. Otherwise a very nice small condo.
I just got back from Toronto and fell in love with the city! I lived in a just under 400 sq. ft. studio apartment in Manhattan and I simply love what you did with your small space, looks fantastic! :)
To those not-so-nice comment towards the host in this video. First,, Average per square ft price in Toronto Condo market is $900. So she bought it right at the market price, even lower. Therefore she is not stupid. This is the reality of Toronto. Furthermore, a new 38-storey tower is going to get erected by 2020 right next to mey condo. 79% of the 410 units are 1 bedroom apartments, and only 12% are 2-bedrooms. So the host made the smart investment in a small cond, which is the trend now as land is getting rarer and pricer.
I love this space! It's so beautiful. I love the monotone colour scheme with the hits of colour! I would have loved to see the bathroom too. Love all the windows. I think if I moved in I would never leave. :)
Why do they build balconies? Why not build units larger without useless outdoor space which is not used for 8 months because of frigid Toronto weather. Cute place for one person.
So is that what all these condos look like that are going up downtown? They don't even bother drywalling or painting the concrete so it looks like prison?
im an electrician doing most of the new condos in toronto, theyre not all like that, it's actually the more expensive ones with the exposed concrete, usually they grind them smooth and put a clear coat on them unlike hers, you get an extra tiny bit of space that way too, because they don't have to stud out and drywall after it's nothing but something
that's a rip-off for 500,000 I thought this thing was like a hundred thousand even that's too much. There's no way in hell in the future going to live in downtown Toronto. probably going to have to live far from the city which is fine but your joke is funny sad part is you're not wrong.
How many years would people usually live in condos before they move to a newer condo or buy a house? is condo living a temporary solution? I have a house and was thinking of selling and not sure if renting or condo would be a way to take advantage of high RE prices
I do NOT understand how people can live in such small places I am in a condo in a very large city 2 bedrooms and its 1200sq feet I personally think that's way to freaking small and want a larger space 500sq feet is a nightmare
Is that a single or twin bed? It looks so small. Did you at least get a closet? This seems so criminally small they shouldn’t have even made this floor plan. Good of you to utilize that tiny space.
These condo developers are getting away with too much! !!! How is this liveable. The ikea floor display is bigger than this!!! Props for the decor tho.
Oh my goodness it seems that when people know they are anonymous they think its ok to be rude and ugly. I am lucke I have a decent size home.but I dont live in the hub of things. Yes its small and yes its high, but thats how it is in the large cities. You people need to get a life
Dennis I bought a smaller micro condo than this in Uptown Toronto in 2015. That was 250K plus a locker, no parking. So 300K is relatively cheap if it's downtown.
Toronto is a joke. This place is a shoebox and costs $500 000. This city is by far one of the worst cities in the world to live with real estate prices like that.
The government is responsible for the cost of housing and everything else in Canada. Too much taxes in everything. Had they kept the interest rate at its historical average of 12%, we would not have 500 sq ft shoe boxes costing $500,000. Cheap money = more buyers = low inventory = high competition = high prices/gouging = no return on deposits/saving = cannot save = borrow cheap money to invest = too many investors/speculators. But now if you increase the interest rate, then you create a sub-prime lending situation like the US pre-2008.
OMG those terrible cement walls. Why would you want to buy such cold and unfinished condo. I think you did ok. I would skip on that crystal chandelier, it looks to gaudy LOL
0:05 "Smaller than many hotel rooms"... Huh?.. she either needs her head checked, her eyes checked. The average hotel room differs from price range to price range and she'd have to be renting the deluxe suites or penthouses to get anything over 200 square feet. This makes this.... so called, "expert's", expertise in question. Way too many self-proclaimed, 'experts', out there. Even worse when we find out the so called, 'expert', has no training or diploma or any piece of paper from a accredited school or institute clearly stating their qualifications. Simply Googling her and we come up with her schooling on a Wiki page... hmm graduated from, "Radio and Television Arts"... so that qualified her to be a writer for a food magazine? Her other credits include Treehouse, YTV, and TVO... so she's now a realty expert? Does she have a license... or is she some self-proclaimed designer who didn't actually design anything because she hired someone else to do it. I'm a chef from a family of restaurateurs, cooks and chefs... I went to a culinary school and got my red seal certification. I also have a diploma in Graphic Design and have a love for designing floorplans. I've been cooking for more than 30 years, but you don't see me going around calling myself an expert marksman or gun for hire... ludicris... smh...
Well, you could call yourself an expert chef but you choose not to... why are you hating? 500sq ft is smaller than the average hotel room in Toronto, not sure where you’re getting this info from but I honestly think you have no clue why you’re talking about and just spiting this lady because of your jealousy You have a design diploma but guess what? I have NO degree and work as a software engineer after having taught myself EVERYTHING and designers wish they had my skills. Choke on that fool
Why are all of you so down on her. Not everyone can have large space.and it looks 10 times better than some of these studio app. That people say is so cute but are not. You guys must be the trolls I hear about
I ❤ these kinds of videos! Great ideas, and the space is cozy, comfy, energizing, and beautiful!
I especially like the combo kitchen island/bench. So clever. There is an impressive amount of storage in such a small space. I like that she kept favorite pieces like the secretary and the 50s dinette.
I LOVE all the storage solutions and your Vintage Treasures!! 💖💖💖💖. This was so well put together 😊!!!
You might want to consider getting a bed with drawers below the mattress. Its a great way to utilize space that would otherwise go to waste. Having lived in Europe it is not uncommon there. Otherwise a very nice small condo.
.
I'm a huge fan of condos with windows like that. I love the natural brightness of it!
Warning the glass is not thick at all. Its a imaginary barrier for that kind of height.
Excellent natural light for a small condo. The chandelier is awesome.
You are so lucky to get such a FABLULOUS suite
The condo is indeed small but you did an amazing job decorating. I absolutely adore the dining set and chandelier.
Great job by your designer. This is a great example of using your space wisely.
I would have enjoyed a total tour, seeing closets & bathroom area.
I just got back from Toronto and fell in love with the city! I lived in a just under 400 sq. ft. studio apartment in Manhattan and I simply love what you did with your small space, looks fantastic! :)
the mid century table and chairs are fantastic. so cool.
Love what you did with this. Lots of helpful tips. Thank you.
Nicely done!
Love the dad frame touch. Good choices you made too overall with the place.
Stunning!

Excellent video....my partner’s daughter has an almost identical apt....some great ideas
Great job on video and excellent presentation. Best Wishes.
The poured buvvky grey concrete walls remind me of my rez room at Carleton when I was 19
I love this space! It's so beautiful. I love the monotone colour scheme with the hits of colour! I would have loved to see the bathroom too. Love all the windows. I think if I moved in I would never leave. :)
I love the space, perfect for 1. Hate the $500,00 price tag 😲
Very nice very interesting solutions
Beautiful! Love it. ❤️
looks lovely!
Amazing dad.
i loveeeee your little dress girl
She did a great job
I remember you from four square reciting poems with children! And who says entertaining children isn’t financially rewarding!
Love your space
Loved this!! Can you please show us the bathroom?
Beautiful. And oh i love that table. My daughter has one in her breakfast room.love it
i love youre space its beautyful
nice , I like the sliding door , but not the cupboards round the bed , the side bits are odd
You have good taste... Cute condo
Very nice. Not at all my style but I like what you've done with the space.
Where did you get your amazing bedding?
Good but hard to find this size flat in Canada, Canadian love huge
It's enough space for her. She is single. She probably paid 1 million for it too. Lol
Love it!
Why do they build balconies? Why not build units larger without useless outdoor space which is not used for 8 months because of frigid Toronto weather. Cute place for one person.
Paul Short - a balcony is not equivalent to a larger unit. Building larger units cost considerably more money than just building a balcony...
So is that what all these condos look like that are going up downtown? They don't even bother drywalling or painting the concrete so it looks like prison?
sc0tte1 that is the current trend of modern industrial rusty style
im an electrician doing most of the new condos in toronto, theyre not all like that, it's actually the more expensive ones with the exposed concrete, usually they grind them smooth and put a clear coat on them unlike hers, you get an extra tiny bit of space that way too, because they don't have to stud out and drywall after it's nothing but something
Beautiful...condo not bad also
This is a mansion for Hong Kong standard !
And for the londoners as well....
I own 2 condos in Toronto
1. Ice Condo
2. Shangri-la
Your condo seems to have more creatively
I wouldn't mind getting access to:)
For $500,000, this is too much space. Lets make condo's smaller. It should be like 10 sq. ft for $1,000,000 dollars! Pure insanity!
that's a rip-off for 500,000 I thought this thing was like a hundred thousand even that's too much. There's no way in hell in the future going to live in downtown Toronto. probably going to have to live far from the city which is fine but your joke is funny sad part is you're not wrong.
X152535 people will buy anything. I say vote with your money and put the selfish developers out of business.
Why didn't you show your bathroom I mean it's so small why not show all of it, I do like your place :)
Trinity Kay it's where the dead bodies are
RecoveringChristian 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂💟😄
decent hotel room is about 24sqm. this is almost double of it. not smallerl as she claimed. unless she only stays in presidential suites.
Super 8 has bigger rooms then this.
She mentioned like 3X that she can't get anyone into bed
😂😂😂
I'm sure she won't have that issue on Tinder.
the bathroom?
How many years would people usually live in condos before they move to a newer condo or buy a house? is condo living a temporary solution? I have a house and was thinking of selling and not sure if renting or condo would be a way to take advantage of high RE prices
How much? Please tell me, if it's affordable I want to buy one.
The picture of your Dad, is hot!! Your condo, is just beautiful! You have it decorated and organized magnificently! 👍❤👍
500 sq feet is the average living space in Hong Kong. People here fit a family of four in 300-400 sq feet.
Nice and cosy apartment. :-)
But where do you store your books, clothes, bags and shoes ?
Nice!
Idk how I feel about the exposed concrete, makes it feel like a prison cell lol
I do NOT understand how people can live in such small places I am in a condo in a very large city 2 bedrooms and its 1200sq feet I personally think that's way to freaking small and want a larger space 500sq feet is a nightmare
In Hong Kong a three bedroom condo is 350 Sq feet, lol
❤️
Is that a single or twin bed? It looks so small. Did you at least get a closet? This seems so criminally small they shouldn’t have even made this floor plan. Good of you to utilize that tiny space.
Well now about 146k people have had access to the bedroom.😅🤣😂
But only the lucky ones get the real thing.😅
Anyone know where the couch is from?
Do you still live in the great condo?
hey hi ,, shall i ask one question
what material used on floor
I actually like this. What's wrong with it?
What brand refrigerator is yours?
👍👍👍👍
These condo developers are getting away with too much! !!! How is this liveable. The ikea floor display is bigger than this!!! Props for the decor tho.
claritycentral - it’s downtown
Fist Last and your point?
Oh my goodness it seems that when people know they are anonymous they think its ok to be rude and ugly. I am lucke I have a decent size home.but I dont live in the hub of things. Yes its small and yes its high, but thats how it is in the large cities. You people need to get a life
How much would a place like this cost?
About 350 nowdays
Vida Setoudeh Oh wow thats actually not bad.. thank you !!
you're welcome!
Dennis I bought a smaller micro condo than this in Uptown Toronto in 2015. That was 250K plus a locker, no parking. So 300K is relatively cheap if it's downtown.
Probably around 500k right now for something like this near downtown
Do you have a bathroom?
Damn, this is depressing. So small. Noooooo!!!!
The Joy of Sex book in her credenza should help.
☝ ❤ 🙏
Where is the bathroom?
Must be nice to be able to pay a interior designer.
Toronto is a joke. This place is a shoebox and costs $500 000. This city is by far one of the worst cities in the world to live with real estate prices like that.
wait till you come to Singapore. 650sft space costs $1.2million.
Because Canada government do nothing for trading the off plan properties
The government is responsible for the cost of housing and everything else in Canada. Too much taxes in everything. Andrew80439 No. Try my city, Tokyo. Its much more expensive.
While at it try Sydney Australia. A detached 2.5 bedroom home in the Sydney inner suburb starts at about 1.5 million.
How is that tiny?
Still bigger than a studio in Manhattan
the value probably doubled by now. And it's all tax free!! Best asset in Canada
OMG those terrible cement walls. Why would you want to buy such cold and unfinished condo.
I think you did ok. I would skip on that crystal chandelier, it looks to gaudy LOL
Looks so ‘staged’ for tv, not realistic. No bathroom?
500 square feet is not small! Smaller then many hotel rooms? Less than 0,05% hotel rooms are over 500 square foot.
Her name is "Pay"? watch out, potential mates.
Pai from four squares
$500,000 for this?? No way...better live outside the city.
2:38 ok
that's gotta be 11 charlotte st. I used to live in that building and the view looks identical.
Evan P Maybe don't publish her (possible) address so publicly? It's a safety issue.
Christina Lynn, please calm down and pay some taxes.
heeheemanofHK what are you talking about?
My Campers Bigger\ gee
you made "the style without style"! Messy and confused in all sense!

Seem like she declined your date offer and you are super pissed
This feels very cramped space to me.
terrible, looks like garage
Women...
the race baiter herself
to get more space, go on a diet
Why are all of you so down on her. Not everyone can have large space.and it looks 10 times better than some of these studio app. That people say is so cute but are not. You guys must be the trolls I hear about
Lose that cheap looking dining table please...
I think she needs to move.
