Your drone illustration gave me a different perspective. I am aware that things to the left of the screen are closer to the transducer and vice versa. BUT the drone view from the side makes screen visualization, for those new to LS, much easier to understand.
Thanks for the explanation. I really like your videos. I'm fairly new to livescope. I have a question about the 1242. At start up, i have the screen icon "Depth, Gain or Range" all controlled by the knob. Works well. After I use Active Captain to record and close the app, the screen icon is gone and I have to go into menu controls to adjust Depth, Gain, Range. Is there an easy way to bring that back to the screen so i can again just the knob presses to control? Thanks, Richard
This is Tits, Mate! Quick question…. Hypothetically…. Small aluminum boat with these electronics…. One 93sv with GT54 and LVS34/GLS…. If this were yours…Would you put the GT 54 on transom or TM head? To me transom for sidescan seems best, the unit is visible when seated at tiller. Thanks Guru
@@The_Garmin_Guru transom it is! Thanks. Seriously though, it’s become a large temperature gauge up there but it was instinct to put it there at first . With the 34 on the shaft now, the ducer is useless there now. I set this boat up for my boys and I think they will enjoy the images from the transom while putting along up front. Thanks for the speedy reply.
My hummingbird helix seven with sides scan is by the tiller. My pole mount for Live Scope is in the bow. Added a 54 to the bottom of my trolling motor and quite pleased with it. Now I can watch side scan while I am using Live Scope.
@The_Garmin_Guru Do some people actually think that when they see on their sceen a fish at 25ft and a tree at 30 ft that the blob was left of the tree? I'm genuinely curious.
@@RedsFishin absolutely and that’s just because of the way the screen portrays the image. I’ve got some professional anglers that it helps clarify to them what they are seeing. I think if their screen was mounted on the port side of the boat it would help them understand better

You got that right!
Very good!
Great explanation sir. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Thanks and welcome
This view is why it may look like your lure is right in front of a fish, but in reality could be off to the side.
Yes indeed
I am new at this but it was very insightful

I just push exit or switch screens and switch back to Livescope screen
Thank you. I'll try that.@@The_Garmin_Guru
Good stuff
Glad you enjoyed
If I run a 32 and 34, one being for perspective and the other for forward, which would you run on perspective?
32

Hey bud. I think a side imaging on the trolling motor is so useless

So at the 2:14 mark those fish are in front of the trees and not to the left of them?
Awesome information thank you
