Good job buddy im still running old faithfulll on software but you could be on something i seen it that bottom is results same stretched out to 80 feet that bottom i need
Excellent video. I will use this advice. I saw something that made me wonder. I also have seen the oxygen trails from the lure being pulled aggressively through the water. I guess this is a good thing. This oxygen trail shows there is oxygen for the fish to survive. Have you ever fished a part of the lake or depth of a lake that didn’t create oxygen trails with your bait? Maybe no oxygen trails could mean this portion of the lake is a dead zone?
Hey my brother! Love your channel. I live on a lake in north Louisiana where the pollen has been falling for a couple of weeks now. I went fishing two days ago and tried your exact settings (106sv) and found that going from Amber to emerald green made a very slight difference, but the color gain/limit changes made no difference. Bottom line, I still couldn't see my bait. That said, I want to let you know that I can see my bait in other areas of the lake, i.e. - if you fish in a spot and can't see your bait then move, try opposing banks. Appreciate you bro. Jeff
@@The_Garmin_Guru LOL. Come on down cuz. I live on Lake Darbonne in Farmerville, LA and things are heating up here! Heck, I'll even put you up at one of the rentals on the lake. You can fix my crap and fish too! LMBO.
What are your thoughts on using 20v 10ah tool batteries for graphs a,nd livescope. Seems to me that would be the way to go for clean power. Have a great day.
Great video! I was worried about silted up water. A few places I fish get pretty churned up from boat traffic. I just installed a 34 & 106. Should I do update now or wait for next one? Been hearing horror stories on latest.
Randy, I have an unrelated question, but your image shows your forward zone going out to 27’ at the surface. I assume this is because your transducer depth is set to a depth of about 2.5’. I have suspected for a while that AHRS is controlling the sonar angle and not the vertical angle of the transducer. Since your transducer is mounted on a separate shaft on your trolling motor, you are unable to easily tilt the transducer up to change the cone angle. I am working to see the splash down at about 8’ out from the transducer. I have a pole mounted transducer and even when I tilt it upward (attempting to adjust the sonar cone) I see no difference on screen. It seems to me that AHRS is in control of the sonar cone and not the angle of the transducer pole. Is this thinking correct? Please elaborate… I fished yesterday and lifted the transducer to ~6” below the water. I set the transducer depth to 0” in the sonar setup. I can see the 8’ splash down now, but I want to experiment more in order to have the bottom depth displayed accurately, which with these setting is off. Just had a thought - all I need to do is set the transducer to the actual depth to get accurate readings. Hope this doesn’t detract from the close splash down. Is AHRS working as I mentioned above? Does AHRS over ride the angle of the transducer pole? On behalf of myself and the huge number of LS users that have and are benefiting from your help, A HUGE THANK YOU!
Been a sub for a while now, slow to warm up to your vids, but this one was really good. Has help me a lot with my 122sv’s. I don’t mind the snow if I can see my bait whether it’s a 10 xd, wacky senko or 1/32 oz baby shad. I’ll be watching all your updates. Thanks!.
@@The_Garmin_Guru Not personal, just lots of different and some conflicting “opinions” on the internet. Just takes me awhile to get comfortable with someone’s channel.
I have a lvs 32 and using an older echomap 93 plus model. Unfortunately no means to upgrade graphs at this current time. Any advice on how I can clear up similar issues with what I have? And also at times, I have an issue with picking up my lure when it's 50+ feet out, then when I bring it within 40 or so ft, it picks it up just fine.
So dirty water use moss or black emerald and increase color limit.. what have you found is the best color for gin clear water ?? Or does it not matter as much ??
Hey man, I still have the 32. Do you think you could do a rundown on the settings for the new update for forward mode? And what color pallets would be best?
Bass pro has a really good deal on garmin right now. I have been thinking about getting the ultra 106sv it’s $999. Right now. I don’t have deep pockets and was considering getting 2 of these ultra 106sv one for the dash and one for the bow. I also was considering getting the lvs32 because it is on sale as well for $999. Would I be making a mistake? If anyone has any suggestions please help because I can’t afford to make a mistake

@@JodyMcCarty the problem is, when I download the update and put it into sd card and put sd card in my unit, nothing happen, it won’t start update from sd card
Ya need to mic up when you're away from the camera. Your really hard to hear. But great video going to give this a shot. As we have a lot of garbage in the water this time of year.
That was some good information, definitely cleaned up the screen. Looking forward to trying it out. Thanks for all ur hard work!👍🏻🎣🇺🇸
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the great advice... I was playing with the color limit this weekend and it's a game changer!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the info about the color limit & the pollen in the water
No problem!
Really surprised by the good returns AND certainly the flatter bottom. Need to try this out soon. Thx GG 😊🇧🇪
You’re welcome 😊
Thanks for color limit info , I just installed the last update
Appreciate the knowledge always shared! Why does my depth keeps bouncing around on screen?thanks
Your videos are so informative. Really appreciate it man!

about the same settings i posted a couple of months ago on your other color limit video for pollen and sediment. good job.
I will check it out
As always great info fella. I'm going to pick up a lvs34 this week. Looking forward to more on color limit.

Gin clear water I think you should prolly choose your favorite
The returns are amplified due to the gain being turn up some. Look forward to some more on color limit.
Thanks
I said that in the video
Interesting I'll have to look into this one Preciate Ya 🐟🎣
It definitely works
Try turning on the bottom fill It cleans it up more

You need to do the test when there’s actually pollen in the water turned up gain when there’s pollen in the water it’s going to get worse?
I never have problems with pollen. But it will work. Debris and mud combination is pretty close.
Exactly what I was looking for!!
