I play trumpet too. My old music teacher used to transcribe all these videogames songs for me to learn. I still have a whole cabinet full of hundreds of songs.
I have been playing trumpet for about 15 years and hearing you play makes me smile and gives me courage to not give up on writing more music for brass.
Total Personal preference.. i've always played french horn (7 years now) but I just recently switched to trumpet cuz i think it's a lot more interesting and fun
2:00 Dootdemon! Fun fact about the Mortal Kombat song - it actually didn't debut in the games but was used for the TV advertisements for the home console release. That ad was so impactful, and the song was used so smartly in the movie, that it accidentally became the "MK Theme".
1:31 The Mortal Kombat movie from 1995 “features the title track ‘Mortal Kombat (Techno-Syndrome)’, which had been written by Belgian music duo The Immortals for Mortal Kombat: The Album. Its use in the film cemented its status as the ‘Mortal Kombat theme’.” en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mortal_Kombat_(1995_film)
I've played trumpet from ages 11-25. Was in my citys local jazz band. Had to quit to start working on my career/family. I'm 32 now and I bought a Borg about a year ago and have been too anxious to play it knowing I won't be as good as I used to be and realizing that I can still read it but the majority of fingerings I've forgotten. But hearing that Runescape song of all things made me want to pick it up and see if I could squeak somthing out. Edit: OMG THAT OVERWATCH THO...
Actually, the so called tetris theme (which's actual name is Korobeiniki) is the theme A of gameboy tetris (1989), tetris was made in 1984 by Aleksey Pazhitnov on an elektronika 60, so it had no music, but korobeiniki is the iconic theme so it fits better than random beeps 🤣🤣
For me, the "Tetris theme" will always be tune from the arcade Tetris, where I've first heard of the game. (It's also present at Tengen's version for the NES. I believe its name is "Bradinski", at least in that version!)
@@EuMesmoVII The four main songs from the arcade version are "Loginska", "Bradinski", "Kalinka", and "Troika", but Bradinski is probably the most memorable one :)
Fun fact the Mortal Kombat theme was not in the original game but instead made for a complimentary soundtrack then used in the first live action film but became such a banger that it became associated with the franchise and it's only two official in game uses have been a remixed version that appears in the Sega CD version of the first game and a brief saxophone cover in Jax's friendship in MK11U.
Actually the song came from Mortal Kombat: The Album, music inspired by the game. On the album was a song written for each of the playable fighters and a bonus remix of Techno Syndrome. Techno Syndrome was released first as a single in '93 and Mortal Kombat the movie didn't start production 'til '94.
I'm glad to see younger musicians passionate about music and the trumpet. At my college I'm one of two trumpet majors. We had 20 trumpets for marching band tho.
You just got a new subscriber because you included Heroes III. That's my entire childhood right there, and I never hear it mentioned outside the small circles of dedicated players.
I play flute and we're at odds with the trumpets in our Marching Band, however this was so awesome, it's kinda impossible not to enjoy listening to it...
Trumpet was my first instrument (I switched to trombone in high school and majored in it in college) but I sure miss playing trumpet. I enjoyed "air fingering" along to your video it gave me great joy and lots of nostalgia of my childhood!
Love your trumpet playing. Love your costume changes. Share this video with my wife, she loves it, too. I play violin but love other instruments. Keep it up.
This is a phenomenal video with great performances! The only problems I have is A: Nyan Cat is NOT a video game, and B: how dare you not include a single song from the Journey to Silius soundtrack!
Amazing to have Forza Horizon 5 already in here. For me, this is already one of the greats (and it is pretty much only used in the Intro and Start-Screen)
Skipping from 1993 to 1996 means you missed 2 of the best games for music ever. FF6 in 1994 and Chrono Trigger in 1995. Using the trumpet for the FF6 opera "vocals" and for Chrono Trigger's title screen music would be awesome. Another good one would be the Star Voyager title screen music from 1987. Not well known, but a really fun piece.
Some rather interesting choices, like using Pokémon Legends Arceus but not the original Pokémon theme. And as someone who has never played Halo… why no Halo theme?? =P But good playing regardless.
I play trumpet too. My old music teacher used to transcribe all these videogames songs for me to learn. I still have a whole cabinet full of hundreds of songs.
If only my trombone teacher did that….
TRUMPET FOREVER
I have been playing trumpet for about 15 years and hearing you play makes me smile and gives me courage to not give up on writing more music for brass.
need to know what’s the difference between tetris & bah bah black sheep?
I played the trumpet for two years and my family always said that it's not beautiful sounding instrument. But I enjoyed it very much
my parents are the opposite
Total Personal preference.. i've always played french horn (7 years now) but I just recently switched to trumpet cuz i think it's a lot more interesting and fun
I’m playing trumpet right now. 🎺
Ur parents are wrong lol
Bruh, it's not like you play tuba like me. I still love playing it tho.
The legend of Zelda sounds like an epic song to march into battle to!!!
It is
Ever marched into battle before?
@@PapaSmurfx93 No
@@Christmas_Joker You should play the game then! You feel like an epic hero all the time.
Mine would probaly be Skyrim music or hearthstone

I don’t even play trumpet and I still watch these videos! This guy just is so good
i used to play trumpet professionally 7 years ago. you make me wanna pick it up again and just play for myself.

I'm actually trying to learn the trumpet right now these videos really encourage me to keep going and sound even better+ DD BAND!
Best of luck to you, I've been playing trumpet for 3 years now and I've found it to be a very pleasurable instrument.
I wish you luck after a while you will be able to play tons of songs you love. I have been playing trumpet for 3 years and love it.
I've played it for 4, going into my sophomore year next school year, so that will be 5
Trust me, playing the instrument is fun
I'm glad to see younger musicians passionate about music and the trumpet. At my college I'm one of two trumpet majors. We had 20 trumpets for marching band tho.
Trumpet is the best instrument by far imo, totally worth the time. There are few other instruments that can play almost any genre of music
Music is so special. It is crazy how simple tunes can cast the mind back into time. Awesome playing!
I haven't played trumpet in like 3 years but I still remember all the fingerings, the power of practice kids
You just got a new subscriber because you included Heroes III. That's my entire childhood right there, and I never hear it mentioned outside the small circles of dedicated players.
I get that only the first part of the track is the meme, but there are some really good brass runs in the back half of "Megalovania".
I play flute and we're at odds with the trumpets in our Marching Band, however this was so awesome, it's kinda impossible not to enjoy listening to it...

I've been playing the trumpet for years, and some of there are still really hard. That shows you just how talented he is
All the costumes and the little edits, it was so funny! And you’re an awesome trumpet player 🎺🎺🎺
Love your trumpet playing. Love your costume changes. Share this video with my wife, she loves it, too. I play violin but love other instruments. Keep it up.

When It's about game music, Hollow Knight never can be forgotten.
The Evil Within being Clair de Lune is funny to me.
I also play trumpet and your motivating me to keep on playing and getting better and play some of the amazing songs that you play.
Happy to hear bro! Keep going!
@@DDTRUMPETGarage I will
I was astonished already, then you brought Heroes III and I had to hold myself not to burst into tears.
They call me 007

7 death
Jak zawsze super😃💪🏼 dzięki wielkie za nuty i pozdrawiam serdecznie!🎺
🎺
Apparently my cat hasn’t heard a trumpet before, he was investigating all over my desk while this video was playing. He was so interested 😂
This is amazing! These songs sound exactly like the real thing, but why is it that most of these don't show time signatures?
I have been playing trumpet for 5 years now you encourage to practice and become better.
This is a phenomenal video with great performances! The only problems I have is A: Nyan Cat is NOT a video game, and B: how dare you not include a single song from the Journey to Silius soundtrack!
Отдельное спасибо за музыку из Battlefield 1942! Шикарный ролик! Спасибо из 🇰🇿👍
That articulation is CRISP. 👌🏼
My god In heaven he actually did it what a legend thank you
You have sparked me to play again! Thank you for being awesome and hilarious with your videos :) great inspiration!
Angry birds is best song so far and gives nostalgia for people’s child hood.
So glad you added doom! Doot! First time viewer of your channel
2006: the year when the legendary game with a legendary soundtrack was born.
I'm talking about Ace Combat Zero, of course...
I feel so old seeing the years games came out, I grew up playing. 😅😅😅
The Oblivion theme is literally a brass fanfare! How could you skip it! D:
He has Skyrim in and all Elder Scroll games use the same main theme with just slight variations
The goldeneye pause theme has no business being so good
Why does that mortal combat sound track sound so nostalgic ive never played it
The song he played was from the movies, not the games.
I play the flute and happen to have something against the trumpet but I still love these somehow lol
Didn't think anyone actually remembers Heroes III
Good job brother
these songs sound epic on trumpet we need full versions of them all
Amazing to have Forza Horizon 5 already in here. For me, this is already one of the greats (and it is pretty much only used in the Intro and Start-Screen)
Gotta love Forza
ニンテンドー、凄すぎる…尊敬…
The second Heroes 3 theme showed up, I knew you were a legit gamer
Ahh man i played the Heroes series so long ago. You made my day so much flashback
Awesome.
The my only criticism is that Mortal Kombat chosen was the movie theme song, not the game.
Thanks for adding Forza, loved the games!
I play a baritone horn and play in a band with trumpets so it’s nice to hear other brass as well as some iconic tunes
Oh my gosh The Evil Within is my favorite game and it's so underrated. I was very pleasantly surprised to see it included here! 😍
Awesome video! Kinda surprised you didn’t do the halo theme
The dedication oh my goodness, well done sir
I missed "The Vengeful Spartan" from God of War. Nevertheless it's a very cheerful and nostalgic selection and you sure play well!
Maybe this will actually get me to practice trumpet… now I just need a French horn one 😂
this video is amazing, I wanted to see him one day switching from The Sims or God Of War
I'm literally subscribing just because of 3:15
the sans costume tho- even though i play trombone i still love watching your trumpet videos
The undertale mask is 🔥🔥🔥
7:43 Isn't that just Clair au de lune?
Clair de Lune, yes. Debussy.
Yes
oh god the doom ost looks chaotic af, constantly shifting from high to low notes
This trumpet twink is pretty cool
Came to listen to a compilation, fav'd as soon as I heard Crash Bandicoot on the trumpet!
LEGIT THOUGH I GOT A TEXT MESSAGE 😂😂😂
Bro u are a legend ❤ u played my favorite game theme song and that is Forza Horizon 5 and I play trumpet as well
Gracias por el video me da esperanza de poder tocar una trompeta
Props for the forza horizon 5 part, coming from a car guy / band kid
Car guys, wya?
I really liked this video. You did a very good job!👍
Hello there
i just love playing along with these lol

OMG he actually did it
Thanks bro
Your lungs 🫁 after this 💀
Absolute legend for including heroes III
Although THAT mortal kombat theme isn't actually from the game itself, I thank you for the flashbacks. :)
Mii Channel got me 😂
the video makes me nostalgic about legendary game
I was waiting for pvz to show up at 2009
Omg, the LOL rank bandpick bgm, lots of memories
This is just incredible!
Some rather interesting choices, like using Pokémon Legends Arceus but not the original Pokémon theme. And as someone who has never played Halo… why no Halo theme?? =P But good playing regardless.
This guy is the Rob Landes of trumpets.
this is real content 👌
Forza Horizon 5 in Mexico is perfect to trumpet! ❤❤❤
I can finally learn Minecraft theme on my trumpet. Thank you for sheet music.
I’m a drumline person but even I know how insane that playing is.
Missing some of the old command and conquer soundtracks, those were iconic.
Surprisingly you did megalovania but nothing touhou which helped inspire undertale
Yes yes yes!!!!!! I absolutely love this!!
That was really good I liked it!
The eyebrows with Doom. XD
Awesome! Fantastic! 👏Bravo! Wow!
12 years after The One they Fear and it's still a banger
1:48 is still play Mortal Kombat to thus day and it never gets old and neither dies the music
Me, angy at both tetris and mii music (but tetris sounds pretty good): *O A*
For some reason the Zelda tune made me think of Spaniard like music
That was awesome! Wish Red Dead Redemption II was in it, but still amazing.
The fact you didn't do the Halo theme is saddening
Also…. Is Nyan cat even video game music?
Hay I don't play trumpet but they sound cool
