This man is clearly trapped in an attic with 2 grand pianos, a tuba and a painting and the only way he is allowed to communicate is through instrumental music
When you hear these songs on a piano you begin to realize that those old midi sequences were actually very interesting musical pieces. Especially the old NES games. A few years ago I bought Mario Maker for my oldest son for Christmas. The inlay from the CD had the sheet music from the original super Mario Bros as a background. I recognized it immediately and thought to myself that really is musical composition and not just a jingle.
I remember the time when the music was written in MOD and they used samples. The MIDI keyboard was better because I could normally play like a piano and the notifier made a recording. It had a limit on the number of simultaneous tones (ATARI had for example 4 generators). Computer music mostly originated from school etudes and free keyboard improvisations. Sometimes something nice came out of it, but it wasn't great art. The finger technique was aided by inserted sequences that a particular instrument would not play in real life.

minecraft is still my favorite of all time. The amount of hours I spent on it and listening to that music wonderful
It would have been even more wonderful if he had actually played music from Minecraft
Too bad this isn't a minecraft song... In fact this is: Gymnopédies no 1 from Erik Satie, composed around 1890 ;)
Compare this to his evolution of music video.
For some reason I find these game songs on the piano far more interesting then the modern pop songs.
Tetris
Platform: *LITERALLY EVERYTHING*

"Everything Goes with Guile's Theme".
Even on piano.
Of course it does. I meant that Guile's Theme is epic, even when played on piano. What is not an usuall thing.
Emm the round the Guile everyone is love
So it wasn't main theme I did not know that
It was written on piano. Like most music in general is. Most music is written/composed for piano and then pieced out to other instruments. Especially video game music.
If only I had these Piano skills. I can barely play with my left :/
Same.

DOOM played in a piano, life has a new meaning to me now.
Someone needs to make a mod for Doom where all songs are replaced by a smooth piano or Jazz version of 'em. :P
Oh yeah!
Me When he looks to the piano: "I'm so lonely..."
Me when he looks at the core of my soul: "I'm so anxious"
Meus Parabéns, Amigo. Senti uma nostalgia muito grande com essas músicas .
He's a man of few words, so he lets the notes do the talking...
-Brian
There are simply too many notes, wouldn't you say?
PART 2!
with Top Gear, please
+ heroes of might and magic!
+ the sims
Needs some Halo music, and music from Starcraft 1 and 2.
Anything from the Metal Gear series would make a nice addition.
Dude when he started playing doom and stared into my soul ..I felt the doom slayer deep within.
Yeah...almost like he's already picturing how to glory kill before he even attacks..
I swear all these compilations forget the godly halo 3 one final effort, finish the fight, never forget and the main theme
Master Chief, do you mind telling what you’re doing not in that video?
Sir, this guy has no taste.
