How neat is the fact, that I'm a student and my to-do list is so messy, and I wanted to start using Google Keep, but the idea was so overwhelming, and so like I opened my youtube account and I saw your video in the recommendations! You're a lifesaver, thank you!
Sareema Farhat Husham amazing! Glad it was helpful!
This is awesome. Thank you.
I am a active senior citizen- involved in a lot that’s not work related- but i have pets that need flea meds monthly- they get a brown post it- the dogs photo is on my note with the date due and a reminder- one for each dog. Then i keep green notes for anything knitting group related and pink for my doctors and labs, i use orange for grocery lists and i collaborate with my husband so whoever goes shopping gets what we need. It ties in with my calendar too i just love it. It saves recipes, patterns etc. so much yet so compact and easy.
Hi can you tell me how it saves recipes? Thank you!
@@michelleneuman579 you take the recipe link and embed it on a certain color note.
Or you can copy the recipe on notes of a certain color.
Hey friends! Hopefully you've found this Google Keep tutorial helpful. What are some of your favorite Google Keep features? Let everyone know in the comments below.
Pin Notes
thanks, i like that I can organize the notes with labels
I use different computers and devices: iPhone, Android phone, Macbook Pro, iMac, Win 10 laptop and Win 10 desktop: My notes will be up-to-date regardless of platform. Love it.
From one video pro to another, thank you for the helpful info, Tasia! This is my first exploration of Keep and you did a great job showing me around.
The tip I was looking for was at the 6:56 mark. I didn't know what "labels" meant and I have a bunch of notes now which I was "organizing" by a naming convention. The tip about "labels" was what I needed to know! THANKS Tasia!
I use it to keep track of all my crafting supplies so I know what I have. I use the labels to identify what each item is and where it is located in my craft room with pics.
Excellent presentation. Thank you! Straight to the point and clearly explained!
It is nice to find someone who speaks in terms the layman can understand when explaining a program that they don't understand. Thanks you great job.
First time viewer. You do a great job! Going to be teaching it to my staff. Thanks!
Thanks for this video. I have been sleeping on Google Keep. It's looks to be simple but powerful. I will be enjoying more of it's capabilities as soon as possible.
This is the best tutorial I have found for Google Keep. I like being able to slide through to a named section to review the instructions and it’s clear and easy to follow. The images are very helpful
Thank you for the quick but comprehensive tutorial. I got going in no time. My favorite feature is the "Label". It will help me categorize and organize the different type of notes that I will be having. You are awesome!
Thank you for this review! I just learned about Google Keep today and now I can't believe it took so long! It looks like something I'll love using. Thanks for showing how it works.
Great explanation for my first dive into Keep. Thank you so much, Tasia!
Thanks Tasia, this was a great tutorial and very helpful for learning all of the features of Keep.
Hi Tasia - My daughter's favorite is google assistant. Could you make a video how to setup google voice assistant to set the reminders and save the note into google calendar and google keep on the phone and the browser. Can we use google assistant and keep offline?
Dear Tasia! I really thank you for your excellent tutorial. I am from The Netherlands, 68 years old and yesterday I found out Google Keep for the first time. I added subtitles to your video and in that way your tutorial worked out very good for me! Thx a lot.
Wonderful to hear, Wander. Hello to you in the Netherlands! Thanks for watching and commenting.
You did a great job explaining these features. I love this!
Thanks so much! Glad it was helpful :)
Excellent tutorial, Tasia! You made learning about Google Keep fun and easy. Thank you.
Again you always make it look easy. Great presentation makes it easy to follow. Thanks!
This is a very nice tutorial. Thank you for that. One deal-breaker for me is the lack of security. This video was created in Sep 2020, and as of today (April 2022), there's still no way to protect a note by passwording it. It looks like a good simple note-taking application but is not as secure as OneNote.
Edit: providing the direct desktop link was a great tip for taking simple notes during a meeting via voice recognition.
Wow! Thank you! I just officially started using Google Keep.
Wow! You explained this so well, I'm actually going to start using it. Thanks.
I love you used Hiking List ! That’s pretty much my main to do list 😀
New Subscriber! Love how detailed your video is!
Thank you! I understand labels better now as opposed to titles. I have some organizing to do. This will probably help my search function to be more specific also. Thank you so much!
Yay! Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for making this! Very helpful.
Amazing Tasia! I had never heard of Keep! I'm going to apply it to organize the NF book which I've been working on. Thank You!
My favorite part of Google Keep is that YOU instructed me how to use it!
Great comprehensive video and thank you for sharing!!
Awesome teaching video! So clearly explained even this old gal could understand. Thank you!!
Thanks for the video. I just purchased the Google Pixel 7 cell phone and will switch to all Google products. Google Keep will be very helpful on both my desktop and cell phone.
Thank you Tasia for sharing this excellent and comprehensive video with us. look forward for more of your educational videos. Well done.
I just discovered Keep, and found your tutorial. Thanks so much. Can't imagine any way this could have been better!
You're very welcome! Thank you for the kind words! So glad you found it helpful :)
you are absolutely an amazing person Tasia you have explained it well very precise and you know this tutorial is definitely....even grade school student can even follow. Can you imagine i am zero knowledge a minutes ago, now i feel like i am using keep and calendar for more than a month ...no kidding , oh i love it! Good thing i found you. my fave part is coloring note i am a visual person i can easily remember things. Great job, thank you, Awesome!
OMG! I am probably at the far end of the spectrum of users. I will be 82 in a few months and I would like to put to rest that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. When you started the tutorial you mentioned about writing notes to oneself - I am so guilty. “Where is that >@#&)}% note”. I cannot count the number of times I’ve said that. I have tried several different note taking and to-do list programs and Keep blows them all away. I am of German heritage and there is an old saying, “Ve gets too olt too zoon und too late schmart” Not true, I have implemented Keep into my daily life. It is so feature laden that I always seem to find another shortcut or method of keeping track of the myriad of tasks and lists that I’ve created. I’m in the process of restoring a 300 year old house in New England and Keep is helping me keep my sanity. Thank you so much!
Easy to understand! Great! Thanks
Thanks for the great tutorial.
I am a beginer just getting started inspired by your tutorial.
Thanks again for the indepth tutorial.
Thank you! Very useful guide.
You don't even imagine how much my time you saved
Tasia, great job on this tutorial!
This was so helpful. I now know how to use labels, which is a game changer. Thank you
Great video, thank you! Very informative. Quick question tho, if you set a reminder for something and then archive the note, will the reminder still work?
Well done... a great review for newbies or those like me who already use Keep. Thanks!
Thank you, Tasia. I learned something today.
Thank you Tasia. This is going to help co-ordinate my AV team.
Very good tutorial with easy flow, I learned those tricks and loved it
Thank you Tasia, it is excellent an video. I am going to use it from now on. Also, going to send this video to my family.
Helpful video. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome, thank you!
super clear and very easy to follow. thanks so much
Hi.. I was helpful as I had to made notes. I can't understand it's features .. Thanks for helping.. Keep it up.. May God bless you.. 😀
Thanks for sharing. My favourite Google Keep feature is Grab Text. Take a picture of the desired text e.g. quotation and then upload to Google Keep. Then use the Grab Text function to extract the text. Works well. Even works for handwriting :-)
Hi...where is this "grab text" feature located? thnx
@@bethhill8274 After successfully uploading the image to Google Keep, look for the "Hamburger" i.e. three dots in the same note. Then look for Grab text
Thanks for that. Wouldn't have thought of trying it.
Very informative. Thank you for sharing.
A fantastic video by you, thanks a million
Well done! Liked and subscribed.
Hi Tasia great video. Thank you!! I'll explore your other videos, however, if you see this note, could you please advise how to arrange all the different notes in a specific order eg on the right side of the calendar or actually on the google Keep page. Thanks again Mark :)
Thank you! I'm going to try it. You speak fast, that's because you know what you're talking about.
Hey julia, can I suggest you click on the settings cog on the youtube video and change the playback speed to .75, still very audible just a bit slower. Cheers
Great video and Thank you.😊
Simple explanation and you made me use the google keep. Thx
This was really helpful thank you!
Thank you very much, I learn a lot, very clear English.
That is awesome I'm currently using this with my phone and my Acer Chromebook
Excellent video! 👌🏽
Helpful, thanks. A lot of times, I'm at a meeting and need to take notes, so I use the drawing feature to take handwritten notes
My favorite is to be able to use keep within the calender or google docs. AND the reminder function!
Very informative video. Thanks a lot. 🥰
very clear and helpful!
Very informative - thank you
Is there any way to clear the grid screen so that it is neat and only showing the Notes you're currently working on? Like deleting anything that is old and no longer needed. Archiving others that are no longer relevant? I use OneNote extensively so this is very limited in comparison.
Thanks for the video, this really help me
Very well Organised flow of information on video.

Good morning. Thank you. I came over from @Katie Lance "coffee with Katie" this morning. This was very helpful. Thank you. I have a google business page. I was on it over the weekend to see what is happening. To be honest, I don't or have not focused too much on this business page. But I do want to revive it and my feeding it. Thank you again for your info.
