I have one of these rotisseries and it is great! I have a Mustang on it now and it is very sturdy and makes it easy to work under the dash and the suspension. I bought it used and painted it as it came from the factory without paint.

amazing video. great info. im actually building a rotisserie similar to your 3000lb one. its funny, but i've been researching the internet comparing designs and piecing together a bunch of features of different ones to build what i think is the best design unit.. it came out looking almost exactly like yours. the only thing im trying to decide now, is tube inside of tube for the mount arms with 2 bolts through the top, or designed like your 4000lb one with the clamps like the T-bar uses.

how about you run a tap through your "superior" welds??? I have ripped the threads off a couple bolts because you welded WAY to hot and honestly the welds are not great, all the heat is on the nuts, thanks for the extra work.

some right tosh spealed here . I have stress and load tested these designs using only 50x50x3mm and 40x40x3mm shs and they cope with 1000kg 2200lb easy . Major weakness is poor design not section size . Using tube for headstock design when a length of 40mm bright round bar coupled with pillow blocks, would surfice and perform better . Bigger ain't always better .

I don't test mine, other than using it for what it's designed for which is restoring cars. I did make a slight modification, which was sliding a shim/bearing surface between the front and back of the risers (tube that raises and lowers the car). I have two rotisserie and this one is by far better than the other. I don't recall the other brand but it did exactly what this video shows, the far wheels would lift off the ground. This is very scary when you go to work on the car because it tilts ( try rotating a car body and the whole freaking thing tilts). I have never had that happen with this one and I've had much heavier cars on this one than the other. I guess it doesn't matter anymore because this company went out of business. It's a damn shame because this one is by far the best

Hi accessiblenow - nice job! I have no need for one, but it's pretty cool. We found your channel from a comment you left on the Morgan's video. Thanks for sharing. Please check out our channel if you get a chance. We live in rural PA, not far from Mike and Melissa. Thanks!

This company has gone out of business. It's a damn shame because they were the best you could buy. I know a lot of car restoration people who tell me mine is so much better than theirs. If you can get one used BUY it. The only thing I would suggest is to slide shims between the uprights (tube that slides up/down to raise/lower the car). This will make it go down smoothly, instead of Jerkily or not at all without beating the tube

Seems a bit: “he doth protest too much”. At the same time, I bought one of these from them over 15 years ago. The only problem I had was the yokes in the tires bent too easily. He didn’t make these. Probably Chineseium. All in all, what the fuck. To a degree what difference does it make. Build your own. I didn’t as a time saver. That was my choice. You make yours and it will be right for you.
