Hey all! I've been busy with work. Yes, since the newest update this duplication glitch no longer works. I tried all other variations of it, still won't. If I get it to work some other way or see someone getting it to work another way, I'll upload a tutorial. Right now the best way to get Simoleons fast are cake farms. 😊

It still worked for me with an orb that I just duplicated a few hours ago. If you can send me a video with how you do it with an orb. Look for #simanthasfreeplay on FB and send the video on my messenger so I can see. 🤗
Omg it worked!! And it’s even easier than what was shown. You can use any plate of food on any table next to the item. You also don’t have to have a second table or move the item. At the end you get a complete duplicate of everything [the table and everything on top] but the plate is empty on the duplicate 😸 I’m an iOS user btw.
Game got updated this week, this is why it’s not working. Tried this myself today and the life orb wasn’t duping. People on Reddit claim it still works for some reason, they are wrong

I did some tests yesterday and I found out that you don’t have to do the eggs and bacon every single time you want to duplicate things, you can recicle the dish, let me explain it: When you finish duplicating one item there is two tables, the second one where is the object duplicated there is the eggs duplicated too, just grab it and put it on the countertop you had, then save the second table in the inventory, when you have only the first table where is the thing you wanted to duplicate and another dish, you save the object that is already duplicated in the inventory and that dish in the first table you send the sims to clean it outside the room, and then you have the table and the eggs ready to duplicate again

Is it possible that after doing this, the value of our city would decrease A LOT? bc it happened to me :0 Even now I don't have available the option to see the rewards the game gives you when you achieve goals/raise the value with buildings
Nope. The duplication will not decrease the value of your SimTown. If you duplicate expensive table items though, and sell them, it will decrease the town value. This is for all expensive items, except the life orbs. Life orbs when you sell them for simoleons will not affect the town value. Actually, even if you do not do the duplication glitch, anytime you sell items, especially the expensive ones, it will decrease the town value. Again, with the exception of the life orbs.
@@SIManthasFreePlay it makes sense... But.. having duplicates of expensive things doesn't mean that the game have to count those items on the value of my city?
@@SIManthasFreePlay sorry if I wasn't clear, I'm Argentinian. I meant to say that when you buy an item, the value of your city increases... But if I have 65k of duplicated items, doesn't it count too in the value of the city? (Also, here in Argentina the Interface of the game looks different and we don't have those "life orbs")
@@pulacascar179you can just force quit the app and open it back up and it works. If it doesn’t show the initial loading screen when you open it again, force quit again and it should be duplicated.

yesterday the app was updated....since then cannot duplicate any item....need help to sort this out mayb due to the updated version?

Try it few times and didn't work for me 😢 i can do the decor but not the orbs

The simmer I learnt this from said to start over. Although I haven't really tried. 🤗

Items bought with LP will be sold for simoleons only unfortunately. You can visit a neighbor with a pet farm to harvest LPs. Takes time though. 😊
