    I like when i find creators that talk about curly hair and also have finer hair, it seems like most curl videos cater to far thicker hair so im grateful to find somebody to relate ro

    Please make a video of how you diffuse your hair after 1hr. of air drying it, avoiding frizz and keeping the definitions. I'm always hesitant of using hair dryer as I think the curls won't last long that way so been maintaining air drying my hair.🇵🇭

    Glad you’re back Jayme! You and your hair are looking so pretty. I’m an Aussie wavy girl and was wondering if you’ve tried any pharmacy brands available locally as I can’t really afford mid-price brands right now! Love the authentic personality you bring to your videos. I don’t get exhausted/bored/annoyed watching you like many other UA-camrs (I hate to say it - nothing against them). Thank you ❤️

    I was so excited for this video as you have beautiful hair that is very much like my daughters! I just wish it wasn't an entirely sponsored video so we could see how you normally treat your hair. This was more of a long commercial to me. I couldn't get through it. Don't get me wrong! I'm sure you enjoy the products, and congratulations on the sponsorship! It just may have been a bit better to do a separate product review. I look forward to finding a video about your normal routine 😊 All the best!

    Hi Jayme! I ordered some of these products after watching this but they have not shipped for three weeks and I keep reaching out to customer care and no one responds. I know this isn’t your problem but was excited about this brand and not sure I will ever order again since I can’t refund anything but also it’s not shipping to me and no one is contacting me? Was wondering if you knew of anything I could do- honestly was a little sketch to me for a brand.

    • @spirals73
      @spirals73 Місяць тому

      I can't answer for her but I have 2c/3a coarse low porosity hair and I went from armpit length to almost tailbone in a few years. It took a while because in the process I trimmed off at least a foot of old damage.
      I wore it up in a bun or braid every day to protect the ends. For that growing out period I didn't care about the curl pattern. I didn't heat style, stopped coloring, put conditioner on the ends before shampooing if I was going to use sulfate shampoo (and conditioned after). I did brush it every day but I was very careful with detangling brush and spray detangler first, then a brush with a mix of boar bristles and nylon bristles to smooth it before styling. You do not have to brush it out if you don't want, but I recommend wearing it up until you hit your goal length.
      Also, in lieu of trims, I sometimes would sit in bright light and snip off individual split hairs. Yes, that took a long time but it was worth it. I wear my hair down all the time now that I've hit my terminal length so that is something I do more often.
      I now use sulfate free shampoo. I still don't use haircolor with peroxide or ammonia in it, still don't use heat except a warm hairdryer a couple times a month. I don't brush unless it's the night before a wash. I still put it up at night but instead of a braid, in a giant scrunchie on top of my head so it doesn't tangle. Minimizing damage and not trimming multiple times a year are key. I do a one inch trim twice a year, usually. That means you only gain 4 to 5 inches a year if you have average growth. That every six weeks thing is for hair that needs to keep shape and length. You are wanting change, not status quo.

    • @NASOONMIIX
      @NASOONMIIX Місяць тому

      Its because youre not taking care of your ends, stop trimming unless its completely necessary, if your ends are dry, you should oil them every day. You should only ever trimm once to twice a tear depending on the condition of your ends. Trimming will leave your hair getting shorter if you dont keep your ends healthy

    • @farahhats
      @farahhats Місяць тому +1

      @@NASOONMIIXthank you for the feedback. My hair is very healthy, it’s virgin and I only use medium heat on a diffuser to dry after washing. My ends are not dry. I’ve just been trying to get my hair to grow out and the majority of the consensus in the cruel community is that regular trims (about every three months) are necessary for long-term hair growth. I understand that everybody is different and environment and genetics both play critical components. Do you have personal experience with obtaining length goals with less frequent trims?

    • @farahhats
      @farahhats Місяць тому +1

    • @NASOONMIIX
      @NASOONMIIX Місяць тому +1

      @@farahhats hi, so i definitely understand what you mean. To be fair, getting frequent trimms is a gimmick. I’m 21 and only have ever cut my hair once due to doing stupid things when i was kid. I got some play do or gum in my hair but that was the only time i had ever cut my hair. I can speak on hair growth considering i have 40 inches on my head and mind you i do not grow hair fast at all. And this was when i wasnt even taking care of my hair or knowing how to style and do my curly hair considering i was mixed and had a parent who didnt know how to style my hair other than straightening. But you want to take care of your hair! I highly recommend you watch this video for more details as im not very good at explaining the process but he explains it perfectly as of why youre not getting hair growth. Watch the “The Best Kept Secret to Growing Long Healthy Hair FAST” by the blow out professor. He has so many helpful and insightful videos on hair care and its not just for straight hair. You can still incorporate the basics into your hair routine. Watch that video specifically and you will understand what to do and not 🙏

    • @NASOONMIIX
      @NASOONMIIX Місяць тому +1

      @@farahhats also I recommend finding out your hair porosity as well. I had a hard time moisturizing my hair and it annoyed me because every-time i wanted hydrating as i am a low porosity hair type, all my products weighed my hair down. My routine consists of the maximum hydration method once a week (because i wash my hair only once a week. You can only ever get away with doing once a week for wash day if you can expand your wash wash days in a sense that your scalp doesnt get to oily. Mine gets oily at the end of the week hence once a week. You can find the method on UA-cam works for all curls types but is more towards low porosity) clarifying your scalp before you shower, and deep conditioning. Get a hair steamer so the steam penetrates the cuticle, opening it uo so whatever deep conditioner you have gets moisture inside of the cuticle because you want the cuticle to be moisturized within which will make it moisturized on the outside as well and become healthy and wont have much breakage. You also have to make sure youre oiling your end everyday. Your ends are the least healthy due to them being the hairs that were on your head for tge longest so they need extra love. Trimm isn’t necessary. Especially if you have virgin hair. Which i have as well. You kinda want to play around with your options depending on the hair type and your hair needs which wont be too hard to figure iut. I hope this helps

    Oh goodness , go back 40 years and we’d be twinning ( hair only 😬) except I used to dry it in the sun , away from wind , sitting on a chair with hair flipped. My hair was long and super healthy , still is healthy at shoulder length or part in half and do a very tight twist each side until dry outside….
    I’ll try the curly girl, not having much luck with most products lately .
