I can not believe how empty and peaceful that temple you visit was :O like compare to others like in the Kyoto region that are packed (but still lovely to visit) it's amazing that you can have the place all to yourself and take as much time and pictures/vid as you want without bothering others around you. Thank you for showing us a lovely scene.
I was pretty surprised myself. I arrived at the temple around 8am and stayed till 11:30am (at the garden). There's not much people around even by lunch time so I was really surprised. I guess it helped that the place is not accessible via public transportation. Btw, Thank you so much for watching my vlog! 🥰

@@kkikikkiki I actually had a hard time looking for a taxi from there. I had to ask help from a local to call a taxi for me. They were helpful but I recommend you to download an app called GO or UBER. I wasn’t able to use it because I had to register using mobile number and I was using an esim so didn’t have my roaming turned on. So it would be best to create an account beforehand if you can.

@@corinabaltazar9819 if around 5 degrees celsius or less, I wear a heattech. I think it was just a day or two around late November. But other than that, jacket or coat is fine
Depends on your itinerary and preference. Tenjin if you prefer night life. Hakata if you plan to have multiple day trips across Kyushu. I stayed near Hakata because I had multiple day trips via JR trains planned across Kyushu. Hope this helps :)

Depending on where you're coming from, you can take a train then a bus. Like from Yakuin station, you can take the Nishitetsu-Tenjin-Omuta Line to Nishitetsu-Kurume Station. Then take no. 31 bus from the Nishitetsu-Kurume bus to Ikeda. From there, you walk for roughly 25 mins.

Hi! Thank you for subscribing. I bought the 7 day JR Kyushu pass. JR passes are used for shinkansens / special trains. You can't use it for buses. Visit this site for more info: kyushurailpass.jrkyushu.co.jp/reserve/TopPage?4 If you're having trouble about it, you can buy passes when you arrive and ask questions from the staff. They are really helpful. I just visited Tokyo a few months ago and in my opinion, Fukuoka is a lot easier to navigate around. Since you've been to Osaka and Tokyo, I wouldn't worry about it. In Fukuoka, I stayed around Hakata area so that I'm near Hakata station for my 7 day JR pass. if you'll be doing a lot of day trips via Hakata station, then I suggest to stay near it. Btw, I can share with you my itinerary but it will take some time cause I have to write it down. I don't really write itineraries in detail cause I use google maps and just pin wherever I want to go. I hope this helps. 😉
What I like about Fukuoka is how easy it is to navigate around the city. There’s also a lot of nature and cultural stuff. Moreover, the food scene is very competitive so most of the food I had was really good.
@@jjdelacross Yeah I noticed it too. I'm currently researching transportation in Tokyo. Pupunta kasi ako this end of month. Based on google maps, travel time is approx 20 mins within Tokyo itself. I guess it depends where you are but that's how it is from our hotel. Mukhang complex din so ready na kami maligaw. What did you like about Tokyo though?
