- At The Cat, January 24, 2018. From their latest CD, Steppin' On The Gas. Ben Polcer, piano; Charlie Halloran, trombone; Marla Dixon, trumpet/vocals; Bruce Brackman, clarinet; John Dixon, banjo; and Tyler Thomson, bass.
Charlie....you are a class above,fabulous trombone playing.
One cannot but flatly LOVE this magnificent band !!! Just as a side note I would like it very much to hear again a band configuration in which Ben Polcer would be on trumpet and Michael Magro on a clarinet. Whatever, many thanks to Marla and the guys for keeping our music alive !!! Jazz, jazz, jazz, .... forever !
Always fascinated by this wonderful musicians playing together.
Marla singing and on trumpet always so wonderful.
Hahah... This song is absolutely amazing.
I love how Charlie is just straight CHILLIN while Marla is killing the 2nd chorus. Very awesome job everyone!
Great band, Thanks Ben Polcer, piano; Charlie Halloran, trombone; Marla Dixon, trumpet/vocals; Bruce Brackman, clarinet; John Dixon, banjo; and Tyler Thomson, bass.
Just love that trombone playing. Just discovered this band on U tube. Cant get enough of their playing. Thanks guys for the cheery music.
Thank you for sharing...
Thanks James!
Yes! Yes! Yes!
Superb!
Yes ! Győnyően zajongtok !
James, another great song from a great band. Always look forward to your posts. Love to meet up with you when I'm NOLA in April.
If you are there during French Quarter Festival, look for me. I'll be recording around the traditional jazz stage and wherever Tuba Skinny is playing. Also in the clubs on Frenchmen Street. I look just like the picture in in my signature, except uglier!
@@JamesSterling come off it James, you're nearly as pretty as me.
Класс!
They're like Western Swing in a way-they make me like "showbiz" songs that I'd otherwise hate.
The liquorice stick man is cool!
That would be Bruce Brackman. And yes, he is pretty cool.
🎸👍😉👍🎼🎶
Mighty fine performance and recording too! Why am I just seeing this now?
ALL these musicians are great, just one issue with the recording results, the trombone volume was best when he pointed the trombone towards the side of the stage instead of directly towards the photographer's microphone.
The Sheik of Araby kedencem a 100 elöadás közül.
