Little bits of copper in nearly everything it seems! We don’t get those mini shower heater units over here, I’d love to find those little copper tanks from time to time 😊
Ive been recycling nuts and bolts for over 40 years ( both metric and imperial) got into small scale non ferrous just recently I have a forge where I recycle and smelt ally by the bucket load mostly cans and old motors

Ceiling fans have become one of my favorite scrap items. So much copper, a decent bit of aluminum or aluminium :), and a tad bit of steel. Some fancier fans have brass bits AND a brass ball chain!
@@ABrokenSociety haha when I first saw your message I thought it said Celine fans 😂. Yes they are great, unfortunately they are not too common where I am in England but it is lovely when I do get one 🙂
heads up most fridges and freezers have steel condensers the (radiator you see on the back ) these may still have gas in them freon air con units may also still be gassed
Definitely I only take air con units if they have told me they have been degassed and I don't touch fridges and freezers, I'm not prepared to release freon into the environment. That's why I'm always amazed to see people can put them in shred in the US
I thoroughly enjoyed watching. Copper is such a lovely metal to look at. Lol! You are awesome my friend. An acquired taste. lol. You make me laugh girl. I'm the one who is acquired taste.
Thats a good stack of copper, Back in the day when I worked for the phone company, after every job I could get leftover rolls of #6 gauge raw copper ground wire for free. I stacked it and waited til it hit over $1 per pound and cashed in for a good bonus check lol
I honestly enjoyed that very much Sollers. Wow I am really impressed with your hoard of copper in all shapes and sizes, especially that fish ? you feed. You've got a nice stack of wire to strip, lucky you. Those shower units are amazing, haven't seen anything like that here. With the contacts from switches I have recently scrapped, I found that the buttons are magnetic. That strip of copper from the chair lift, also new to me. Keep enjoying what you do, and may the scrap gods smile down on you. 👍

Really good video for someone trying to learn. You have torn up so many appliances and electronics that you would really be an authoritative source on where you can find copper if you don’t get at your job like myself.
Hi , my name is Kim and i was wondering is it worth buying a container of electrical items from Amazon for the copper, Iv never bought one as yet and also what do you look for ?
Hi, in honesty I would say no as the main buyers for the amazon ones are re-sellers as a lot of their returns are working. You would be better off doing what I do and trying to find a house clearance company where you can buy faulty electronics by the pallet. It can be worth a call round local companies and looking on eBay. The difficulty is if you have to get delivery though as this is hefty at the moment. Hope that helps 🙂👍
