Thanks boss, I am very fortunate to be able to step out of my back garden and in to the local woods. I may do something similar the next I’m off. Sometimes I don’t even need to leave the house and the birds come in to the garden and I get some decent pictures. 😎👊
I wish i lived somewhere like this aswell with the equipment you have. I dont know if i'd ever produce photographs as good as yours, but at least i'd be at peace in this calming environment. Living in an urban setting with no car limits my travel options. I think this is how people who worship celebrities feel. I wish to live in a similar environment as yours, or at least have the option to do so. If anything please continue doing what you love. Love your content.
I like these videos so much, they make me see things in a different way, congratulations on the video olle. And the results you achieve are also incredible, sometimes I am amazed at the results
So amazing to have such wildlife literally in your homestead.. Those deer shots are so hard to get sometimes but so satisfying when you do. Also keep up the good work, would absolutely love to see content more often, you inspired me to get into wildlife photography!
Your videos should reach more people on UA-cam, there is a lot of quality and a lot of attention for the content, congratulations on your entire portfolio.
Unfortunately, as always, those who really deserve visibility do not get enough of it. In my opinion, if Olle goes on making videos like this he will become better known, because it amazes me how much effort he puts into it and it shows!
Olle, this is awesome!! I LOVE the realness of you...It makes me feel good, knowing, that when I don't get FOCUS all the time, this is the real world of nature and wildlife photography!!!...you and your videos ROCK! Thank you!!
I’m glad you say that, because that is exactly why I don’t cut out the ”failed” shots because when I started, I believed everyone just got banger after banger without blurry misfocused photos sometimes😅 So thanks for pointing it out😊 Thank you so much for the words!🙏🏻🙏🏻
This is the first video I see from you. I myself am an ameteur at photography, I merely watched some manual setting videos and things to remember when shooting, so my page barely has any "Photography Videos". The background music, just like the high quality video with showing the result of good and bad shots and the settings and equipment you use when you took that shot makes your videos interesting for people who have or want to start with photography as a hobby but also people who merely just want to watch your videos for the sake of "entertainment". I will with most certainty watch many more videos that you will upload and have uploaded already.
I'm just so much in shock whenever i see your photos , the shot at 18:18 is just soooo dreamy. We don't get snow here in India and definitely not these type of snow deer. Its great to see what this world has to offer. I'm a beginner photographer trying to learn and watch different perspectives. Good Job brother been following you since some time really love your videos. Thanks a lot and Happy New Year
The word Olle used sounded like 'rime'. Rime is when supercooled water droplets spread out on a surface giving a clear ice. Hoar frost is the more common phenomenon of ice depositing directly from water vapour in the air to give small ice crystals which look white and opaque.
Btw Olle - a photographer told me I should try shooting at F/8 because thats the sweet spot for the 200-600. You could try that, now that you are out so much compared to us others :) Getting ur presets now and checking that tri-charger out also.
So many great shots! And look at all that snow! Amazing video as always Olle! Did not expect a video this soon, so it seems your family is doing very well! :) Btw: I finally bought the 200-600. I love how my neighbor thinks shes not a bird... Joking, this lens gets me so close to birds! Just tried get some shots of the kingfisher. Struggled a lot but i got so excited to just see it!
We’ve had tons of snow but it’s melting as we speak😅 We’re doing well, thank you. Setting a 1hr timer is great because it forces me to create something within this time frame and more time with the little one’s this special time😃 That’s awesome, congrats on the purchase! Haha 😂 That’s nice, such a cool bird to photograph!
Finally a new Video from you now my day is even better. Pls keep going and entertain more people and also like you did in my case inspire people to go out with your camera and photograph.
Amazing! Your videos are the reason I'm getting in to wildlife photography at the age of 16. What gear did you start with, and do you have any recommendations for beginner gear under 500€?
Ive never been much into wildlife, but this popped up in my recommendations, and I looove the tones of your shots! This might have ignited the interest in me Also crank that ISO if you need to! If you ever have to go into the 20k ISO area, where we start to get some artifacts, you could still use things like Topaz for emergancies.
Yeah I wanna know too. They're from The Heat Company. They're either the Wind Pro Liner or the Merino Liner Pro I bet. But I'm seeing many mixed reviews on Amazon.
O my God I have been waiting for a video for so long and today I find this! Beautiful content, you have no idea how much I want to spend time in nature trying to take photos like yours. A year ago I discovered your channel and from there I often watch the same POV videos you did because even looking for similar content, I can't find anyone else like you who puts so much effort and happiness into their hobby. A year ago when I first watched your videos I didn't know photography, now after a year, I have arrived with a bit of experience and I own almost the same equipment as you, it's just a little bit further. Yesterday I made my first outing with the A7iv and the 200-600 in the woods but clearly it takes time and experience and I think that the first few times it is normal not to have results. I just have a question to ask you, trying to take some shots I've seen that the birds are always moved, but seeing from your videos it happens that you also use 1/320 but the subject is still, what does it depend on? The ending of this video is exciting, too beautiful and I just can't wait for you to bring more similar content. Lots of support from Switzerland! JD
That’s great to hear that you’ve started doing photography last year! I come home with no results too some days. Just keep going and you’ll nail more and more photos😁 I usually try to decide wether it’s a sitting or flying shot I want. If it’s a sitting shot, at 600mm (with your setup) I think 1/320 is fast enough for sharp photo. But you could go even lower if you know the subject won’t move. Hope I understood the question correctly😁 Cheers mate!
I absolutely love these type of videos! May I suggest one thing though, I think I'd personally prefer a quiet timer. I like just hearing the sounds of your steps on the snow and the occasional bird chirp :)
Totally agree! A silent phone times would be better😂 Just thought it would give more effect with something ”physical”. Didn’t know it made so much noise haha
@@ollenilssonen Yeah true, given the nature of those videos, something physical makes it feel a lot more magical somehow, if it wasn't for the constant ticking noise. Honestly kinda cool that you still had something like that laying around, I reckon a lot of people don't nowadays, given the existence of smartphones. But yeah, lovely content, super beautiful photos, I'm so jealous of the owl nesting place in your back yard, that just sounds like and absolute dream to me.
@@laneye7669 totally agree! Thank you so much mate. Hope for some juveniles this spring! Hope you can have your own nesting box in the future!😊🙏🏻 it’s so cool!
@@ollenilssonen I very much hope for that too, because even tho it won't be in my back yard, at least I can be sure I'll get to sea some breathtaking photos of those wonderful moments 🦉😊
Interesting, they are not disturbed by the sound of the shutter. I tried to shoot a stork from a distance of ~50 m, and the first sound of the shutter scared the whole herd. Maybe these small birds are used to having humans around.
Really enjoyed the video! Now I really want to try using bird seeds for my photography too! Never done that. And I also photographed some deer today, but I only have a 300mm lens so sadly there's not that much detail
Hi Olie Nielsen, I'm a fan of your channel and the content you produce congratulations and thank you, I always wanted to have a Sony a7V and watching your videos I decided and bought it, it arrived this Monday 15/04, but I noticed that when manipulating the camera it looks like something inside it is loose, it looks like there is something moving inside, not like a screw, but something moving inside, if you can give me a tip before sending it for warranty, I bought it directly from the Sony website thank you very much ,
Hei Olle! Thanks for yet another exciting video. Love how you’re combining photography and storytelling and how well you do it. What focus mode do you use for the bird shots? I’ve recently changed to a7iv and struggle a bit getting the focus sharp all across the body of my birds 😕

They do that to me aswell, they get used to you when you watch them at their feeders 😊
That was funny😂

Hi @@ollenilssonen which would you recommend between 200-600 or 70-200 f.2.8 gm II with Sony a6700 maybe with a 2x teleconverter

Wildlife in Denmark is so boring.
Thank god we have you Olle 💪😁
