LOL... You do a great job on your videos. I love the humor and "it is what it is" attitude. I will be in touch and stop by your shop to talk about this Bike. Have a great day.
I talked to John at Euphree and at first he was telling me I could swap out saddles and swap the straight bar out for the swept back bar from the City Robin for a $50 labor charge... fine. So I ordered one the following week and when I called to check the status he said they didn't have the Robin saddle in black and they wouldn't put the swept back bars on the Falcon because it needed the leverage of it's straight bar to turn the wheel. (It's bar is only 1" wider) and recently (8/29) Euphree was asking users on FB if they would like to see swept back bars as an option and acknowledged that they would. And they have swapped them in the past and users said it helped to eliminate the hand numbness. So I don't understand the denial of this request either. Then numerous users are saying they have fallen out of love with their Falcons because the motor noise has finally gotten to them and it is not going away or getting any better as Euphree told everyone that it would. So I cancelled my order. Damn shame. It's a nice bike otherwise.
That is unfortunate. I am still a huge fan of Euphree. While I cant speak to the bar situation. For context, I have probably been on 100+ 750W motor Ebikes. There seems to be a large discussion about the volume of the Falcon vs. others. In my experience, strong and powerful 750W be they BAFANG or otherwise...they make some noise. Next to the Robin its louder...probably by about 30% which is looped to it increase in output. I am certain, like all things Ebike, this will get better with time. Im not into cycling culture as much as MOTOX or BMX in my youth. When I imagine mixing 2 stroke, and having pull cords rip off in my hand 20 years ago perhaps it baises me to the nominal noise of a 750 Euphree. Our Rad Power 750W are quiet, but kinda lame. 20MPH cap. As a guy who has sold a bunch of Ebikes, Euphree has the lowest callback or after sales service of brand I sell (except JackRabbit...less moving parts). Just food for thought. Thanks for commenting.
I was attracted to the stellar falcon just because it seems the only bike using Plus size tires. 2.8 inch seems right for rut filled city streets. Not too thin and not the too big 4inch fatty. I dont know of any other brand with the plus size and this bike leans slightly sporty rather than dead-bang commuter boring
