      @Soja So: so I assume the aboriginals evolved there? None came from somewhere else? Because, otherwise, they are "foreigners" too. And if they are so worked up about the "invaders", I would assume they don't use these colonial inventions like medicine, surgery, internal combustion engines, vaccines, etc., etc., etc. And, finally, who are you to say that someone that was born in a certain country is a "foreigner there"?

    The comments on Free Education and Health Care are so, so Important. We as Tax Cattle pay so, so much Tax into a System and still get bled for Education and Medical, while the Governments find money in a flinch for war and Bureaucracy. Free Education and Medical for all our Parents and Children is the least you should expect from the Vast Cash Pits that we fill with Taxes and sadly the current regimes are to corrupt to make that happen.. We need Change! It's important to keep pushing. Government should not be a Power, it should be a Service.

    • @LuciferRTI

      also most of europe has free education and health care (or at least mandatory health insurance)

    • @steviebboy69

      Hey Steve fancy seeing you in this part of the world, and what you say is so right.

    • @Steve-Owens
      @Steve-Owens 7 років тому

      It does not. Sorry but teaching Children how to Pay Taxes up until the ages of 15-16 is not free education. They are talking about further education, which in Europe as most of the world is controlled by Banks, by the way of loans. Allow banks to lend you money for an education and there is no incentive to keep the costs down, it's simple commerce, the earlier you can train kids that being in Debt is normal, the better you can control their habits as adults, and to be honest even Lower school education is NOT Free, stop thinking that way, who do you think pays for it? where does the money come from? a benevolent government that just love giving you stuff? or a Government that Gets payed Billions of Dollars a year from it's citizens and then hand it back in dribs and drabs as it sees fit?

    • @LuciferRTI
      @LuciferRTI 7 років тому

      Being in debt is not normal, if i wish to I can spend my whole life without ever getting into debt. Being in debt makes you a slave to banks and whatever. I as a college student have never had to pay anything towards the university to achieve my degree, if i then get into a job yes I pay taxes which will allow further generations to go to college and start their working life debt-free. Most government with free colleges are not just generous, it's a plan, by having a lot of educated people in your country you make your country fit for the future and usually increase the value generated in this country, resulting in more money, thus favorable for everyone.

    • @ofcrlawless
      @ofcrlawless 7 років тому +3

      Nothing is ever free. If you don't pay doctors a decent wage, there won't be doctors. It already happens in education. They pay teachers very little and now there is a huge shortage. People need to understand that the idea of free is GREAT but the reality is nothing is ever free. You end up paying for it in taxes or somewhere.

    • @jaybird210
      @jaybird210 5 років тому +2

      @@cronic1866 exactly my thoughts... JP's comments are idealistic, but unfortunately not realistic. humans on average are greedy beings... there wouldn't be the advancement we have without the money going into it. imagine a public school teacher performing open heart surgery... *shudder*

    • @Ryan-dc6lj
      @Ryan-dc6lj 5 років тому

      @@jaybird210 Exactly right. I can't imagine anyone wanting people *not* to have access to those services, but once they're "free" the value and quality would likely drop drastically. Sad, really. High-skill doctors worked for and earn huge pay checks - their services can never be free. That skill must remain scarce. Maybe enough doctors will provide their services out of charity when their student loans are paid off lol! Volunteerism is beautiful but can't be mandated. As for education, it would never be truly free. Someone would have to fund it voluntarily or by force... but everyone absolutely deserves to pursue it. Not sure what the answer is, other than to get government out of education entirely and let markets dictate the value of a degree. Maybe it'd work, maybe it wouldn't, idk. I'm what you might call a fringe right-winger (especially economically) and our group gets such a bad rap for not caring! Couldn't be further from the truth. More people need to be like the folks featured in this series; hosts and those interviewed.
      Loving this series. Good people doing amazing things. Keep it going!

    I know this is a travel video but you seemed so passionate and sincere about this that I have to respond.
    JP I love these videos because of you as well as Louis and you seem smart enough to know nothing is free. Doctors, nurses and even the maintenance people of Drs. offices and hospitals must be paid.
    The cost of inefficiency is much more than the cost of profits. Also, you should really simply want the highest quality medical care at the lowest price. Allow me to explain.
    The profit motive creates efficiency through competition. Whether it is healthcare, education or building airplanes, if you can chose who to purchase the product or service from or even whether to purchase it at all, the seller will compete for your business by supplying the best product or service as well as the most advanced they can at the lowest possible price. If you eliminate the profit motive, you eliminate the need to compete and by eliminating competition you will eliminate the need to keep cost low and quality high, creating inefficiency. The cost of inefficiency is much more expensive than the cost of profits. And Raya, it was great to see that surprised expression on his face but I must tell you. That cure for cancer that will hopefully come someday, will not come out of the goodness of someones heart. It will come from the drive for the profits and fortunes that are waiting for who ever makes that discovery. The profit motive is an amazingly strong driving force. I could be wrong but it may even be so strong as to drive 2 men to risk their lives at times to fly around the world in a small plane.
    Now JP just imagine you had only one airplane company to buy from and all pilots were required to purchase a plane from them upon getting a pilots license. The company would not have to worry about you not buying one or even worse, going to a competitor. The quality would not have to be good, the price would not have to be low and you and Matt would never be debating who has the better, faster or easier to fly plane because they would all be similar. There would be very little new technology because the need to attract buyers would be gone. Is that the kind of plane you would want to fly.
    That is why with the free market profit system the U. S. had and will have again hopefully, they had the highest quality healthcare in the world. People came from all over the world, including Canada, for treatment of complicated illnesses. And because of their indigent laws that require medical people to serve anyone regardless of ability to pay, everyone has medical care. A profit based healthcare system is the best healthcare system possible.

    I love how Raya says 'ben' not 'been' Louis and Raya made a video where she said that. That was before they announced they were an item.

    The sand is red because an asteroid landed in the ocean off Western Australia and as it disintegrated in the air on entry, it spread iron particles all over NT and Western Aus. The tidal wave went inland like 30-40 miles. The heat caused a massive fire ball and melted soil, which can be found around Darwin as crumbly red rock. It most likely burned or scorched most, if not almost all of Aus. If you dig down you can find the carbon layer in most places in Aus. Enjoying the flight info and the interviews! 😎

    JP - why choose to land in Broome?, and not Darwin? less time over water, and closer? great video. great accomplishment for a pilot too. nice one

    No way Louis would have "organic" snacks; he lives on junk food. So no worries on customs!
