The symbol used to summon him in this episode, as well as depicted on his grimoire, is the actual mythological symbol for that demon. They put a lot of work into getting the lore right for this show, and I love them for it.

tbh i really want a war with demons vs humans to happen on a global scale. maybe the angels step in as well and it becomes a 3 way war. would also get to see lucifer join in and all the top demons of hell. dear lord that would be the most epic ending to the series.
