Unfortunately princess polly isn’t so far out from any other fast fashion brand. They don’t provide sufficient information on their environmental policies as well as labour conditions. Not being mean or disrespectful but just putting it out there. If anything I am a strong believer that if you need to buy any brand whether sustainable or fast fashion, you should do it second hand. Lots of love 💜
Yes! Secondhand is ALWAYS best. Buying anything in large volumes, whether from Shein, Princess Polly, or Reformation is bad for the environment. If you want to shop in large quantities the thrift is your best option because even Depop the shipping has massive carbon emissions. Not trying to hate at all, I love shopping lmao, but it is irresponsible to buy in large quantities on impulse regardless of where it’s from. Gigi do be a queen tho, I’m not trying to hate lol.

Of course!!! I feel like I am too. It’s more important to just wear things that make you happy!!
find pieces that make you confident. It’s alright to feel that way and it’s not embarrassing whatsoever. I like the indie style, and y2k. But I have a separate wardrobe for streetwear. I have my main style, indie, and then some like small style options like streetwear, baggy, etc. Keep your options open. Go to the mall and just go to stores and just try on things. I also recommend Ross and Goodwill for some not as expensive pieces. There are more thrift stores but those are the only ones in my area.

The way you said “not gonna be shopping at shein today” while doing a shopping spree at princess polly like it’s any better😭 Princess polly is still fast fashion, nobody really knows how their workers are treated and it’s definitely not eco friendly. It’s not any better than Shein really. Pretty ironic to judge people for shopping on Shein because of how affordable it is when you’re doing the exact same thing but with another brand.

Ik princess Polly is making strides towards being more sustainable and also know shein is not sustainable at all and also has a lot of other issues, and that is all I know: meaning I need more of my own research before speaking on it and I apologize. Baby tees have generally shorter sleeves than a short-sleeved crop top. Also, they tend to be a bit tighter, as crop tops are usually be loose or regular. If you look at a kid's shirt in a thrift, for example, the wearing of that shirt on an adult/teen is the image-blueprint for the baby tee in comparison to a crop top. Baby tees just resemble kids t-shirts!
